Initiative: 23 - mole - dazed 22 - al-mi'raj4 - dazed 22 - Van - 10 damage 19 - Fawks - 2 damage 19 - snail 18 - Mercutio 18 - stench kow - 7 damage, can be critted on 18-20 15 - Sora 12 - al-mi'raj1 9 - Colbertron - 5 damage 7 - al-mi'raj2 - 17 damage, bloodied 6 - al-mi'raj3 - dazed Sora's assault on the Kow seems to throw the mole and two rabbits for a loop as well, but that doesn't stop the al-mi'raj off to the west from following the first rabbits lead and charging into battle. Unfortunately it also mimics the follow through, missing the goliath and then burrowing away in terror. A line of upturned earth leads away from Fawks toward the beanstalks, where it ostensibly surfaces, cowering among the greens. Colbertron, you are initiative and so can I. Map

Actually, it looks kinda dead, and the other rabbits don't seem very happy about it. The only one not still reeling from Sora's assault on the Kow charges clear past Fawks in an attempt to run through Colbertron and avenge its fuzzy friend. After giving the warforged a good jab in the shin, it will bound toward the relative safety of the foul-smelling kow ((Assuming, of course, Fawks doesn't smack it into oblivion en-route)). Sora's magic sword seems to have done quite a number on the other two reabbits, as they both attempt to attack members of the party, but can't seem to aim properly, despite having the instruments of their violence directly in front of their faces. After one misses Van and burrows away, the other charges Mercutio to similar effect. ((Fawks, you get an opportunity attack on rabbit 1. Van is prone, marked by the stinky kow, and has initiative. Fawks can then follow him. Map))

With a sound that could probably be construed as distressed, Vanguard met the charge of the kow- with his face, and tumbled backward, falling over at the water's edge and finding himself suddenly staring at the sky.
The sky was nice, but he did not have time for that now.
Van stood quickly, placing the butt of his spear to the ground to help lever himself up as he stood, and planted his feet, eying the kow up to find it looking back at him very intently. That was alright. If it wished to fight him so badly, he would have no hard feelings about fighting it back. So sad the only ones who wanted to be his friends were gone.
"You are unkind," he informed it, and flipped his spear about, slamming the head of it at the ground at the Kow's feet.
[Move: Stand up from prone.] [Earth Spikes: 1d20+10=FUMBLE!]

And by "the ground at the Kow's feat" what was obviously meant was clumsily about in the air near it as he managed to bring the butt of the spear up between his legs, striking without moving it out of the way after using it to help himself stand, tangling his legs and knocking himself on his back all over again.
[Van is prone again and I can apparently only roll ones this encounter.]

((I'm just sad because if those ground spikes would do damage to the minion, which I THINK they would, that attack probably would have done a whole lot for this encounter if it had hit.
Instead, two fumbles in a row. That takes srs luck. Just not the kind I want. >____>))
