[sorry, I was busy with my new guild. whee progressing very slowly; I just finished the front page today. rolleyes Not all that great, I'll admit, but it's a start.]
Zevach, listening to Sphinx's words, Shrugged when she asked about the two children. Should he honestly tell her, or would he pass it off as simple curiosity? No... no, he wouldn't speak the truth to her. She had yet to gain his trust, and obeying this simple task might give her her answers.
"A threat? Important? False, both of those statements are. They are as much as a threat as a mosquito is," Zevach replied casually, waving his hand as iff dismissing the thought.
"No, I am curious about them. I would think you agree with me on this. I find it amusing to watch what they do, really." While he spoke these words, he had randomly started to pace beside the tree, a slight impatience to his steps, but at the same time suggested he had all the time in the world for this. He stopped short in front of Sphinx though, turning to face her.
"So...you had something to ask me?" He asked, leaning against the tree once more, tilting his head slightly to the side in interest.

"Oh please, spare my ear," Vence mockingly whined, while still smiling. There wasn't anything wrong with smiling was there? Of course not.

Sphinx had worn a smirk at first in curiousity at what his perspective was. She was really hoping he would just allow her to kill them after all after reconsidering his words. But no, instead he still wanted them alive.
"Your curiousity will go against you I swear...If you let them live on knowing you as a threat, they may just gain more power or ability to defeat you. You can end up hurt." She sighed and crossed her arms in a bit of a hissy. "Why am I even on this mission then..." She looked up when he stopped before her to inquire about her own questioning.
"Were you the man who slayed the royals?"
Smiling with a hint of wicked intentions for a moment, she spoke."I will do no such thing. Prehaps your life instead" It all broke away into laughter. "Ok, ok, your safe. Don't worry" Maylo yawned alittle, the heat the sun provided was making her drowsy so early.
"Hm...I can't wait for the boat. Another step of the journey!"
((We can do a time skip after Zevach leaves I suppose?))

[Lol, thanks for the offer. I'll ask if I ever need it. actually, I do have a question. How do you get rid of people in a guild? The closest I can get to that is banning them, but that's kind of stupid, I think.]
"Zevach shrugged at her words, passing them off. It was true that they could gain some power: indeed, they had the potential for it. However, he was confident that he could face them with little difficulty. After all, he was the master of shadows, true whether self-proclaimed or not. Two inexperienced elementalists, and children no less, were no match.
When she asked her question, he smiled. So she had made the connection. It was not all that hard, if you thought about it, really. Well, you'd have to have met him then and now to make it, which she had, he guessed, so that was that... but why ask if she knew?
"I must wonder if any other man could," he simply replied, a content smile on his face. Never directly applied, but it answered her question.
"If that is all, I shall be making myself at home within the castle walls. Ah...I would advise you to stay your distance from Altyrys. Some unpleasantries will be occuring, unfortunately. If you would speak to me, call my name in the darkest of shadows. Rest assured I will find you," he said, half-turning to the tree and it's shadow.

"Well, more like a paddle, but all the same," Vence commented, shrugging as he smiled at the humor.
The milage had decreased by a surprising amount, leaving only a short distance between them and the river, giving a fairly good view as well. The other bank be seen as a ilne of grey, where rocks hugged the river's flow. It was much easier to see the grass, bushes and trees beyond those, mkign the distance across appear shorter. The path went right up to the pebbled shore, and a little over to their right, a simple wooden dosk could be seen, complete with two boats and a decent sized cabin that looked like it was used as an inn ocasionally. Farther on, a larger port could be seen, obviously for commercial purposes, and not for public transportation.
"We're pretty close," Vence said, not minding stating the obvious. It made things interesting, anyway.
[Well, as implied above, I was planning For Zevach's leave and Vence and Mayloo's arrival to be in the same post, so whatev. whee ]

((All you can do is invite/promote/demote and bann. Otherwise I'm totally confused about what you mean on getting rid of them without banning. Like, if it's a public guild they could still probably post just not be a member))
With a sigh, she uncrossed her arms. It seemed she still had to do her job while he lounged within the lexury of riches. Sphinx would have to request a raise or something later.
Her hands were clenching while watching him leave to the tree. She really had nothing else to say to him now that she knew when to call upon him. Night seemed more convient. "Have fun playing castles and dragons"
Maylo smiled as his odd preference, but it was interesting all the same just being around him.
The time swiftly passed without a sound to the point where walking had actually never been so bad. "We're almost there! This was a pleasant stroll. Thanks for sharing it with me" Her hand tightened for a moment within his own to indicate her admiration.
Soon enough, the distance between them and the Inn had enclosed merely a few meters. "So we're grabbing lunch and heading out correct? Cause honestly now I'm pretty excited for a calming boat ride."
Mayloo did seem to jump alittle, which was funny cause it was only a boat ride. Then again, she now had time to practice wielding an element. Water was a beginner skill for her really, but with Vence's help and all the water you can think of, she'd hope to improve
((That was an option too...I totally thought of that xD lol ))

[Nevermind, I has found a solution. 3nodding I am PMing all members of the guild (not many of them) and asking that if they wish to leave, to quit the guild. I think it's rediculous that the captain can't just remove them from the guild. stare ]
"Oh, I'm playing a much bigger game than that, Shinx. I call it world domination. Others would call it madness. Whichever you prefer is fine though," Zevach said, chuckling as he stepped into the shadows. Just before he vanished, another hint of his insanity became apparent, but it was gone in an instant.

Vence felt Mayloo's quick squeeze of her hand in his own, and gave his own, all the while bearing his almost never-ending smile.
"Please, there's no need to thank me," Vence said, showing a bit more of his humble side. "Lunch is first, yes. I'm far too hungry to not stop anyway," Vence addd, a short laugh ensuing. He really was hungry, actually. Then again, he always was.
[Of course you did. rolleyes ]

Her eyes narrowed as if she could see into the tree and follow his path, but alas, there was nothing. Sphinx shook her head once more before recoverign a fast paced walking to cover the ground she could've missed.
She looked at him with a giggle. He seemed to be enjoying his time along side her as well.
"oh but I insist anyways. Atleast until i find another way" Flashing a smirk at him, she went skipping off to go inside the Inn to see what lunch they offered. "Hm, now I'm getting hungry"

[ Hee hee, Should I ad...no, I couldn't, he's more of a side character...then again...Yeah, I'm coming up with a character sheet right now. 3nodding Nathanyell is coming in soon. Of course, you have no idea who that is, but that's the fun part. whee ]
Zevach strolled through the castle halls, memorizing every passage absent-mindly. He would be living here, so he might as well get used to it. A few minor changes here and there...
He smirked, glancing at the lit candles that hugged the walls. He closed his eyes for a moment, staring through the blackness that ensued. When he opened his eyes again, the hallway was almost just as dark; the candles that had been lit only moments before were all extinguished.
Much nicer, He thought to himself, continuing his course. More changes would be made as well. All in good time...

Vence followed in after Mayloo, glancing around the room. Just like the outside suggested; plain and simple. Most everything was made of wood. The tables, chairs, all sanded down and finely hand-crafted, came across as maybe a little too natural, but it was alright. After all, they were only staying for a short while.

"Hm...with this place it wouldn't be surprising if you could grow your own food here, to bad the wood is dead." She shrugged before sitting herself at one of the pleasant tables. There were awsome smaller menus there as well. "I have a craving for pasta of some sort, what about you?
Mayloo fiddled around with a napkin upon the table's surface while awaiting for Vence's reply. "Look I made a swan" She held up her creation and handed it to Vence smiling.
((lol, We haven't even started on the actual journey and yet, so many pages!))

"So now we're into paper-sculpting?" Vence asked, taking a seat across from Mayloo. "Can't beat that; I never did work on my art skills."
He took her creation and held it in the palm of his hand, examining it briefly. His mind chiefly was focused on food, but, like most things, you could never settle on one focus. And besides, it was rather quite lovely.
Just like the person who made it, Vence thought to himself, smiling. He might have said it out loud, but he wasn't much one to comment like that. He didn't really understand why, but it made him nervous. He was better off thinking it than speaking.
"I'm not sure what I want, really. Probably just a sandwich," Vence finally said, speaking up to answer her previous question.
[Almost done with the sheet. I'll post it up later, and then I'll have to get onto Theil. 3nodding Hmm, can I really control that many characters?...never tried efore now. whee At least Nathanyell will only pop up occasionally.]

Her heart was racing as well as an involunteery thing. Funny how the human body picked up on others human emotions by behaivors unknown to themselves. Mayloo however had the feeling to smile wide as her gaze softened. "You know...traveling with you, sounds nice. I can't wait"
Lightly she hummed while raising her hand like Vence always did to obtain service politely. "Well you can question the types they have"

Vence returned the smile, leaning back in his seat as he folded his arms. Travelling together...it had a nice ring to it. How long they were going to be together though, was beyonod him. Especially with things going the way they were.
"Well then, I hope I can meet your expectations," Vence replied, maintaining his smile and good humor.
[pretty cool. 3nodding lol, One day I'll end up being schizophrenic and bipolar xp and still roleplay while I'm in some psych ward.]

She layed her head on the table and looked up at him innocently. "Oh but you already have"
Mayloo's face went alittle pink but she didn't dare turn away. "I don't think much like a 'high class' girl really. I won't allow my parents to pick some artificial suitor. Instead, I'll choose my own, even if that means a few friends on the way"
She sat up and held her arms in the air to stretched "Oh I can't wait!" Just then a waitress showed up and gave her a slightly weirded look before handing them the menus. "I'll be back momentarily to take orders."
"Ah, it all looks good, and hey, they have a good selection of sandwiches, just for you"
((Really? That'd going to be interesting. Like you'd have a sweet and caring side then suddenly plundge into a murderous man, then to a crying one. xD ))

"Then exceed expectations?" Vence asked, chuckling. When the menu's came around, Vence thanked the waitress as she left, taking up a menu as well. Mayloo had commented o nthe sandwiches, but as he looked through it, baybe he would have something different after all.
"Hey, the pasta doesn't sound half bad," he said, looking over the choices more carefully than the first skim-through.

Shrugging, Mayloo smiled. "That would be easy for you. considering we had only met last night." Her eyes trailed off for a moment in thought. It really hadn't been that long ago and yet here she was elsewhere, away from home with a boy. Funny huh?
She hummed again while scanning over the choices. "You've changed your mind eh? Flashing a smile at him, she began kicking her legs alittle like a little kid. The waitress approuched.
"What would you like to order?" "Can I have a dish of fettucini alfredo and a glass of lemon tea please?" With a nod, she jotted it down and then looked onto Vence expectently

"Don't get your hopes up," Vence commented, still looking through the menu. There as more than just pasta, naturally. Mayloo had a point though. It was funny, really; they had only met last night. And sinse then, well, loads of crap had happened. He was pretty confident that once people actually realized what had happened last night, there would be a huge outcry. On a more personal note, somehow the two of them had decided to travel together. No idea why, but it didn't seem wrong at the time, and neither did now.
When the waitress looked to him for an order, he placed the menu down, finally deciding on his choice.
"'ll have the Chicken parma____ with a baked potato on the side, please."
"Any drink?"
"Just water, please." The waitress nodded and headed off, leaving the two alone again to chat.
[Wouldn't work. Execution files are corrupted. Basically, nothing will work, nothing will open, nothing can run. Just internet and apparently can transfer files still (copied Paint pics and word Docs to a CD).

[dude, this freakin' bar at the bottom of the page is really ticking me off. stare I have already come up with about ten ways to make it better.]
