Karin and Himeka raced through the halls with the former being chased by her sibling. Both wore happy expressions on their faces while they ran, though Karin soon bumped into Shin and was knocked back. Thankfully, Himeka got her sibling before she fell, then both mismatched eyes fell up onto Shin, curious expressions on their faces.

Shin watched the twins play, sighing defeatedly, ah well hed have to settle for them wouldnt he? Shesh.."Eh allright whats with the look? Oh never mind come here you two I need your help, well yuki needs your help..heh guess you get to do your jobs instead of just playing all day" he smiled a little bit trying but not sure how to explain things to the girls who loooked so young!..What to say, yeah my girlfriends coughing up blood and kinda dying, ya wanna help? No..not quite the way to go about things.

Karin and Himeka nodded in understanding at Shin with Himeka setting Karin back on her feet and the two walking into Yuki's room and immediately setting to work. Karin climbed onto the bed with the oxygen mask in hand while Himeka worked through the medicine cabinet, her final product a glass of water with a dissolving white tablet. Smiling, the puppet walked up Shin and handed the cup to him, as though asking him to give the medicine to Yuki.

"Okay alright...feh sometime someone is going to have to explain to me how I ended up being the designated one to give her, her meds I swear its been happening like this from the beginning" he said rolling his eyes and sighing, though he was smiling the whole time, he really couldnt care less, actually liked doing it even getting to help out his kitty cat, he just found it funny that it had automatically ended up being him who did it.

Yukiko coughed again and more blood came out. She winced a little bit. Putting the side of her face against the bed, she clentched her teeth together. She wrapped her arms tight around her stomach. Her hair fell over the edge of the bed and the rest of it started to cover her face.

Shin heard yuki cough again and jumped a little bit, feeling so bad for her right now, he really really hated it when she was hurting like this, it was just sort of heart breaking "Kitty cat, life sucks for you a lot of the time huh.." he said quietly as he walked over to her, sitting next to her and removing the little oxygen mask for a moment...so much blood, yeah hed need a new jacket later..wiping it away easily as he maneuvered her to sit up so he could give her the icky looking medication.
He smiled just a little bit as he brushed the hair out of her face before tipping her head back and making her drink down the meds. Once he was done with that putting the mask back on so she could breathe again, maybe more easily. Letting yuki lay back onto the bed.."Mmm...love, gotta find a way to cure you someday.." cure her cure everyone...

A smaller cough came fom her when she swallowed the medicine. She panted a little bit and turned her head a little. Yukiko moved her hand and grabbed Shin's squeezing it lightly.

Shin sighed a little as her cough quieted "Thats better huh.." letting her squeeze her hand as hard as she wanted as he pulled her into him, hugging her and stroking her hair with his free hand. "My kitty cat, love you kay" he said quietly just wanting her to relax and drift back to sleep, into a deeper sleep so this wouldnt be hurting her.

Alex stirred in his bed a little bit, slowly opening his eyes. He stayed still for a couple minutes before shakily pushing himself up into a sitting position. Once he was near the edge, he rubbed his eyes then stood up, just barely managing. "Dont have time for laying around," he murmured, making his way out of the room and following the wall down the hall. Eventually, he found his way to some stairs, smiling a little as he followed them up onto the roof. He was glad to be outside, even if it was still in the hospital. He didn't go very far, though, as he leaned against the wall of the room that lead back to the stairs.
This was pathetic.
It had only been a few weeks or so and he already felt so close to death. Nothing seemed to be able to weaken the damned parasite. Here he was, a sitting duck to the microscopic terror. And though he knew how to help himself. . .was he really willing to? Alex was not a selfish person and asking someone to save himself was just. . .it didn't feel right at all. While his train of thought ran on, a sharp burn ran through what felt like around his stomach and it took everything he had to keep from yelling out. Once it was under control, though, he ignored it and continued his thoughts.

Yukiko squeezed her eyes shut a little tighter for a few seconds. It didn't hurt as much as it did last time, but she felt like she just tried to run a hundred miles. Her heart beat just like she ran, and her breathing sounded kind of like she was catching her breath. She tightened her grip on Shin's hand a little bit.

Shin squeezed back lightly cradling her in his arms as he listened to her try to catch her breath "Its okay, im here, Ive got you" he sighed sadly nuzzling her, trying to comfort her as much as she could, she wasnt coughing any more though and that was good.

Yukiko leaned against Shin a little more. Before she fell into a deeper sleep, she mumbled something that sounded like 'Alex' and 'okay'. She was still panting, but it was a little softer now. She couldn't really feel too much of the pain her body was in anymore.

Shin smiled as he felt her drift off, finally, it was weird everyone who needed to sleep just seemed to love avoiding it, crazy people. Kissing her on the top of her head as her panting slowed becoming more normal, yeah hed heard her but he wasnt going to think about it right now. "I swear lex If I go back to your room and find you gone.." he whispered letting out a frustrated sigh, no if lex was gone hed sick anthony on the guy.
He shook his head a little bit just thinking as he stayed there a while longer, right now he wanted to hold yuki and do nothing else, hed go check up on the overly stubborn lex later..

Alex winced again as another burn ran through him, causing him to sink down onto the ground, doubled-over in pain; it hurt. It really hurt. Maybe he should've stayed put for once. Then again, there were a lot of things he should've done but that didn't mean he would do them. Or rather, he couldn't. He winced again, biting down on his tongue; there were a lot of reasons he was suffering so much so early. Though he was Daniel's reincarnation, he was weaker than him. A lot weaker.
Button shuffled under the bed, crawling out from underneath and shaking his fur. Then the pup edged out of the room and made a mad dash out of the place and down the hall, following Alex's scent to the roof, zipping past Yuko's room.

Shin heard the scrabbling of little claws on the tile floor, glancing curiously at the door just to catch a glimpse of a flying black fluff ball.."Joy...either they've got really big a** rats here or.." or, or, or...or he knew alex had left his room and some crazy little puppy was chasing him down, why did lex always have to make things hard? Couldnt the guy just stay in one place for just one second, was that so hard! "Shesh guys got the staying ability's of a three year old..no even an a.d.d three year old could have stayed put longer then that"
Slowly setting yuki down on the bed and covering her up warmly, for once he was feeling less then willing to dash after alex, but he cared about the guy.."Be back again real soon kay" he whispered to the sleeping yuki, "Swear between these guys and the demons im gonna die of an ulcer..or a heart attack..whichever comes first.." getting up and leaving the room in search of alex, trying to follow buttons trail, heh the sound of puppy feet..
"Ah lex..why stairs of all the things.." he groaned oh how he hated stairs..lex was so gonna pay for this..
