"No problem, kiddo... just be careful when weighing the point, ok. Ye don't want to go sticking one into yer teacher... literally."

*Kero nods, chuckling at the image in his head...and decides to modify it a bit...the next day...Kero's math priest comes by at Lunch...he and Kero do not get along...not at all...and he asks if Tam had taught the cub how ta make paper airplanes...because when he came back from attending to a problem outside his classroom, the chalkboard he was working with was festooned with Airplanes, pierced into the board...and on each one was a point of Kero's venom...*

Tam assures him that the cub will be properly punished and when Kerobian walks in, he finds a meager lunch on the table, no treat, and a stern Talesian waiting across from his seat.

"I had a visitor this morning, yer math teacher... seems someone in the class decorated his brand new slate board with a barrage of paper airplanes. Care to guess whom he thinks did it and why?" Tam's voice is deadly serious and he hasn't once taken his eyes off the cub since he came in. **Canine dominance trick in play here....**

*Kero stares him in the eyes...never try to outstare a cat*
He thinks it was me...and he thinks that because the planes were tipped with my venom...

Tam refuses to back down. He is the dominant creature here. Cat or no cat, ye better watch out.
"No, Kerobian, he knows it was ye. He doesn't think, he knows. Now what are ye going to do about it?"

*At this, Kero's eyes flare wide...he's not backing down either...taking concious control of them, he turns them deep black*
I don't know what I'm going to do...because I didn't do it

Tam's nostrils flare. "Kerobian, do ye remember what I said about lying to me. Go to yer room until ye can tell me the truth." He still hasn't taken his eyes off ye and now, he's really angry. Whether the cat threw the paper airplanes or not isn't so much the question, as Tam is quite certain he made them and then let them be used in an irresponsible manner. If he made them and another threw them, he should have stopped while the stopping was good. And if he was indeed the one who threw them, then he is lying outright to Tam's face. Either way the cat is in over his head in hot water and Tam hopes making him sit in his room alone will help him to consider the consequences of his actions.

Tam's hands twitch and he grows agitated. "If ye didn't do it, then who did. Are ye trying to tell me there is another d. miner cub in yer classes?"

He removes Kerobian's plate and cleans off the table. The he slams his hat on his head and storms out the door.

Tam goes to the temple to talk once again with the priest. He once again apologizes to the man who assures him that he was not mistaken, and takes him to see the blackboard, which is still there with it's festooned ranks of paper airplanes. Tam works one free and gives it a sniff, to the confusion of the teacher.
