InuYasha tried not to, but his hands and feet wouldn't listen. 's**t.' he thought. "Get the hell away from me!" he yelled at Miroku, Sango, and Kagome.
Miroku didn't listen to InuYasha, instead, he set up a barrier, effectively blocking the sword as it came down on it.
InuYasha couldn't help but smirk. The sword wouldn't become red and break barriers, nor would it unleash any of it's ulitimate attacks unless he willed it. "Can't control my willpower, b*****d." he muttered.
Kirara had been on the sidelines, but now she pounced at InuYasha, however her claws were not out. She didn't want to hurt an ally.
Shippo understood from the sounds of the battle and the actions that the boy was making that what was going on was the kid's fault. He jumped out of his hiding place. "FOX FIRE!" he shouted, sending a blue fireball at the boy.

"I can't can I? " Eriol asked quietly. "I'll have to show you you're wrong someday" Eriol turned to the fire. It disappeared befor eit ever reached him, and he was down from the tree in a flash, leaving the thread unattended for now. "Your magic is very cute" he said kindly walking towards the child trying not to scare him, giving him a friendly smile.

Shippo growled slightly. "Okay then . . ." he muttered and reached inside his vest and pulled out . . . "SPINNING TOP!" he yelled as he flung the top in Eriol's direction, the top growing to outrageous proportions. Naraku's barrier held up faithfully though and the top fell useless to the ground.

Shippo didn't let his guard down. "I'm Shippo a powerful fox demon!" he said in an angry tone of voice. "Who are you and why are you tormenting my friends?!" he yelled back.

"Well, you see, I can't really tell you that right now, eventually yes, but right now I can't have any of you finding me...Shippo" he said putting emphasis on the boys name, staring him in the eye, letting his magic do it's work. ((So yeah at 0:45 on this is what i was sort of going for when Eriol says Shippo's name...again since he's a demon you could go either way letting it work o not, your choice. An example of what would happen))

Shippo's eyes widened slightly then closed as he fainted.
((Is it supposed to wipe short term memory or something? Cause if it is then I'll have Shippo only be half affected by it. Like, he'll faint but he'll still remember everything.))

Eriol smiled sadly. This is going to bet a little more difficult, having a feeling his magic didn't worrk as ir was supposed to. He picked the child up and carryed him to the edge of the trees where Eriol would still remain unseen and set him down there. Then he returned back to his tree. And continued to contol the thread. He made inuyasha ppush off the demon, and regain his battle stance.
"I know!" Sakura said remembering the last time this happened. "Watery!" she called as a lady in blue appeared out of the card and soaked them all, Inuyahsa included in water. Doing so also soaked the threads making them visible as they dripped with water.

Shippo woke up and looked around but found himself at the battle ground . . . then drenched with water . . . He quickly scurried back to where he saw Eriol last, angry.
Kirara was thrown back but landed on her feet.
Sango and Miroku saw the threads and they looked at each other with a nod.
"Lady Kagome, we need to get you away from InuYasha." Miroku said turning to Kagome as Sango engaged in a fight with InuYasha, at every chance possible, she attempted to cut through the threads.
InuYasha just glared at Sakura, not enjoying the feeling of being wet.

Eriol looked down noticing the fox had come back. He put his hand to his face intrigued. It seems methods like that don't work on demons.. "Are yo mad at me?" Eriol asked innocently. "You fell asleep, so I thought you'd like to be near your friends"
"Oops sorry!" she said as she ran over to Kagome. "Shield!" Sakura called placing a shiled around Kagome. She then turned back to Inuyahsa, a little afraid to go over there without the shield. She pulled out a card, and transformed her staff into a sword and also ran around cutting the threads.
Eriol's eyes returned to the battle. "Oh, no. It seems they found it out. What to do now..."

Shippo glared at Eriol. "I did not fall asleep you did something to me!!" he said in an angry accusing voice.
InuYasha was continuing to be controlled by the threads, but as more and more of them were cut, he was able to gain more and more control, causing his attacks to be slower and sometimes stopping an attack altogether.

"I'm a demon!" Shippo said angrily. "I don't get sick!" he said with an almost cocky tone to his voice. However, he was making sure he didn't make eye contact with Eriol, his instincts telling him that that was something to do with what happened earlier.
