It seems kinda neat. I think my only suggestion would be duller sandals and a longer hakama.

Interesting avatar. It's like a geisha who is trying to avenger her samurai, with his overly large sword. ^_^ I like it, but I think there should be a better weapon to fit the theme. ^_^

I like the interaction of the vines and the color scheme for the overall avatar, but your hair stands out so much it's hard to look away from it.

The stockings are affecting the monochrome theme and the candle really stands out. Changing the socks would be my suggestion.

Very cool rouge samurai look you have going. The expression and stubble really draw the attention to the feeling of someone who doesn't take guff from others. The background only takes the picture so far, but the wooden sandals and the choice of sword really pulls it home. Well done. I don't think there would be much to change other then your hair.
