Imalyose I was on edge cause I thought I hadn't gotten one for you, and china hasn't thanked me for her pic yet either (though I think she just hasn't been online yet). sounds interesting. I don't know too much about them either, but i've seen cops episodes where they are arrested, lol. also, my mom was an escort when I was a baby. Sorry, I've been swamped with Chinese New Year... so I haven't been online aside from posting my entry and then flying off to get ready (or to sleep xDD). Now that the first three (most important) dates are done with, I believe I have more lenient time (everyone is going back to work and school XP). *Reading back now*

Imalyose I actually liked the white version more, since the contrast was interesting and I thought you had her naked on purpose since pawns are kinda defenseless and useless. I just love the way you give the pawn personality. Aawww...Oh, well. Can't please everyone. sad I know pawns are pretty useless, but I've saved other pieces before with those scapegoats, so they have some power. biggrin Well, cyas! ^^

Siafoam How does China already have today's theme done after 13 minutes of it being posted?! Sorry, I asked for the theme in advance because my life has been hectic with the Chinese New Year.
I wasn't able to get home until VERY late (or early in a sense). When I get home, I have two to three hours to check the theme and come up with something. I did create the entry on the 24th (well, my 24th, everyone else's 23rd... since I'm in HK and all). I had to leave before noon (my deadline) and I wasn't sure if I'll be able to come home before noon to submit on time as my aunt is leaving and I was going to see her off at the airport.
I'm sure I didn't have to explain myself, but this was the "advance" notice I gave to Kai Chi. Not as advance as before the whole event started as I didn't know until a few days before the first of Chinese New Year (today is the fourth day). So yeah............................. this is why my 24th entry is up. I PM'd her two nights before. (My two nights before x_______X;; I am starting to not like this 13+ hours ahead of everyone, it's getting confusing...)

Though, I would like to hear how he actually sounds like,
and see if it matches what I have in my head xD; We may need to have a little chat if dismembered limbs made you smile! wink And he's supposed to sound a little Cockney/welsh, baritone... uses foul language (especially "********") a lot and punctuates with "roight." I used to spell out the accent more but people said it was hard to read. 'Ey mates, 'e cap'n's in 'is cab'n,” he said. “You sure oi can't 'andle wotever 'e ******** yur issue is?” <3

What's the marker tool like? : o it basically changes how LIght the color is, by how hard you press, or if you go over the same are two or three times. it doesn't change opacity, it changes value. so you can create these really unique looking colors REALLY quickly. it creates a sort of rushed look to it though, so it's not good for everyday coloring, but it's great for other kids. here is a bad EX:  see the hair and the dress? all of that is one color. (the skin too, but I did a bad job on that). that is a bad example, but that's basically what it does. it looks really unique. great for sketchy work, because you can color it quickly, and it doesn't look to uniform (which usually looks bad with sketchy work). : o Thank you for the explanation! The marker tool sounds really interesting; I can't wait to try it out tomorrow >w< And that drawing is beautiful : o it also very clearly demonstrates what you were talking about in your explanation. I'm sorry to have caused you trouble with my selfish request.
I thought I would be sitting with my aunt and grandma until they have to get on the plane (12:25p is her flight), but they took the hotel's shuttle (which I cannot accompany her).
I know it may seem unfair in the eyes of others, but I feel that if one gives advaaaance notice for real life crisis (and I don't mean excuses like I have to do my homework); I feel that it's somewhat acceptable (granted that the person, in this case: me, doesn't do it again in the future... aka, the rest of the event).
I feel like this situation can be viewed as a student who knew she was going to be away from school for a few days... asked the teacher to give her the homework of the days she will be absent. She notifies the teacher and does her homework, rather than be absent and get the homework after her trip... and turning it in late. (If that makes sense...)
I would like to apologize to all the artists still participating.
I'm sorry, and please don't blame Kai Chi for this.
(I'm sure the topic has been dropped, and it has, but I feel responsible for creating it.)
