part of the reason i don't want to go home... says shia softly... iffin i did she'd just start asking questions... and ma is darn good at sniffing things out... ye did kind of throw a monkey wrench into the pot though, for all it's worth... i wasn't to meet him for at least another year or two.... sorry uncle... i wasn't trying to hide things from ye, but i knew ye'd not be happy with things and would probably try to change it... only there is only one branch on this time line and it isn't at all pretty... so i was hoping not to steer us in that direction....

shia shrugs and normally i'd agree with ye... when i look at the future i often see a tree with branches so numerous it have to focus on a single branch to view anything with clarity... but this time... i've mentioned it to ye before... it is almost as if time was running backwards... tons of branches leading into a single force... with but one branch and as i just said... i don't want to go there...
tell me about emnast... really... if ye can do so without rancor....

When we were little, Emnast and I were much alike...both little pranksters...he hatched mooning the world....and my first word was "bull"...
We were always together...he and Stella and me...the best of friends we were...and the only friends I had...he had this...shine about him...so funny...but at the same time, he wouldn't let anyone hurt us...he was noble, kind...the epitome of a Gold dragon...his name reflects this...Emnast...Love...
