"You couldn't handle it because your not a elf, I should have realized that. And your not weak, you very strong Arious. You might be even more powerful than me." she said.

Vaati didn't answer her and merely continued to stare. Sora was getting himself into some dangerous magic and he found himself a tad upset over it. There was probably another way, not this way. He only growled, his bad eye going out of focus.

Sora's blade filled with power. It shone a blinding white; whiter than snow. Sora smiled. "The fairies... They'll be safe now... And Hyrule will be at peace because of this sword... I can... feel it..." He looked over at Vaati and saw his face. Reality coursed through him like lightning. "O-oh..." He looked at the sword, then at Vaati, then back at the sword.
"Why thank you, Miss Opal. You're a fine young girl, indeed. Thank you for bringing Sora here. He is very important." She winked at Opal, then turned to Sora. "You know what this means... I have faith that you will know what is best to do..."
"Yes..." Sora's voice was a whisper, barely audible to even the Great Fairy.
"Your friend, there was something I hoped to give him. Please, make sure he gets this." She passed down to Sora a small crystal that glowed green.

"Somethings not right here...why is everyone staring at Mr. Sora like he's about to die?" She asked as she looked at him. "Thats not true is it?" She asked looking at him.

"The sword he carries has the power to kill him. Sure, he will save Hyrule, but he would not be around to enjoy it." Vaati explained. His voice was monotone, with not hint of emotion at all.

"You're lying! Great Faerie that can't be true!" She shouted. This would be the first time she yelled at Vaati, but she couldn't stop herself. "I'm sorry....no one deserves to die! SO I WON'T LET IT HAPPEN!" She shouted. She felt tears running down her cheeks.

Arious sighed and looked at Silver. "You are right... I am powerful... but there so much that I can't do!" He bowed his head. "I didn't mean to yell... I just.. I'm.. sorry..." He couldn't be mad at her... it wasn't her falut.

Silver took his hands as she held it gently in her hands. "Everyone has things they can and cannot do...but thats why we learn Arious..." She said as she looked at his hands.

Sora looked at Opal. 'Mr. Sora': it was what Kaya had called him in Kakariko. She reminded him a lot about her. There was a part of him that wanted to lie to her; to tell her he would be alright. But he knew she would see through it... If not now; eventually. It was an impossible question, but he knew the answer, and he needed to answer. He went over to Opal and knelt down so he was at eye-level with her. "Opal... Look at me. I don't want to lie to you... There's a very great chance that I won't survive my battle. But I won't be dead- not completely. You see those healing fairies in the fountain with the Great Fairy? That's what I will be. They get their lives from dead creatures. But because they died, the fairies spread their healing wherever they go. That's the way we fairies are. As long as something needs to be healed, we work our magic..." He did his best to explain it.

"If it wasn't true, why would Sora be so quiet too? I don't like telling you this; but that's the way the cookie crumbles. It can be his life or the lives of many more, unless there was another way. Is there another way, fairy?"

"But I don't want you to die!" She said as she felt the tears running down faster down her face. Sora was so kind, why did he deserve death? It wasn't fair. But then again life wasn't fair.

(( >.< I'm sorry, Roxy, I hadn't seen. Forgive me~?)) Zelda's arms were stuck to her sides, "How can we beat this thing?" She yelled to Link, hoping he would figure it out. She swung her wrist, her sword grazing the watery arm; it didn't help much at all. Maybe if I put light magic into my sword? She focused on putting her magic into her sword, though it wasn't much. She didn't want to take a swing until she found an open spot.

((For the story's sake, let's say Vaati said that before Sora talked to Opal)) "No, I'm afraid there isn't much other chance to defeat Shinra. This sword is the Fairies' last defense against any attack. And it is our last resort specifically for this reason" She was refering to Sora's almost certain demise. "Hero... I believe you really will know what is best for Hyrule." She said after hearing him talk to Opal. She went into her fountain, silently.

Link looked at the creature then saw its eye. It was moving up and down the tentacle. He pulled out his hook shot. "Hold on Zelda." He said as he shot it and got the eye dead on as he pulled it out. The tentacle dissolved as it let go of Zelda. Link moved quickly so the eye wouldn't get away as he stabbed it with his sword.
