The boy nods. "What will you be teaching me? Sirrah is teaching me science, math and reading.... and languages, I think. Though I suspect I'll be teaching myself a good deal of that. I'm learning draconic now.... but I don't know anything in it yet. He gave me this really old book to learn from and I want to recopy it first so I don't damage it. I think it is really really valuable to him. When he tells me to take care with something, I know it is important."

*Rhea nods*
I will be teaching those now...though I am going to have to see Kero about your level...the books in there are either for my lessons, or my children's...nothing really for a boy your age...

He shrugs. "I saw that when I peeked at them. So what else will I be learning? Anything new?"

We're going to be more structured in Science, now that we have a proper classroom...though you will still be expected to ask questions...we're also going to study how to write well now...and how to speak some other languages...

The boy nods. "Can we study something about cartooning? That seems really interesting... how they make them and all."

*Rhea shakes her head*
Great...another cartoon lover....Yes, we can study them...but first you must prove to me you know how to draw...

In a flash he is out the kitchen and down the hall, running to his room to snatch up his precious drawings. He brings them back to her and spreads them out on the table. "I did most of these with inks and paints I made myself so they aren't very good. These two I did with stuff, sirrah gave me... What do you think?"

We'll start as a bonus lesson...if you don't misbehave in class...

Passura nods happily. Whether Rhea realizes it or not, she has just assured herself a model student. Pasa is happiest when he is creating something. He started by copying but lately he has begun to use more of his own imagination than that of another.

*Rhea nods...and decides to add just a little bit of a stick to match her carrot*
Now, misbehave in class, and we'll take care of things the same way I do with my children...who will have class with you, by the way. The rules and consequences are over there...yes, that brightly colored board...
**Standard stuff...respect others and yourself...don't steal...raise your hand...break these, it's time out...that sort of thing...standard school issue**

He examines the list and nods. "That sounds fair, m'Lady Rhea. It was much the same in my village. We did raise hands though. Kind of silly when everyone is talking in their heads... We weren't always looking at one another. We did have to send an inquiry though before we interrupted."

We do things much the same way...but we use our minds to make our thoughts audible...now, one last thing...I expect nothing but the best from you...so don't disappoint me, okay?

"Yes, ma'am..." he says bobbing his head solemnly. He gathers up his drawing and takes them back to his room, wondering why Rhea isn't too fond of cartoons. To him it was a whole new world to explore.

Pasa sighs and smiles at her. "Not all cartoons need be limited to the realm of just for children. I could see entire stories being told with them... some of them for older individual such as yourself as well."
