I personally think America's pop culture is washed-up crap, but the world seems to drink it in like it's a lifeblood.

Oh well. I am always amazed how people seem to elevate pop culture in the United States above that of other countries in how terrible it is. Japan, Germany and England are usually just as bad, and i would wager the same is true of most countries. But what amazes me the most is that countries will copy the United States in so many terrible things, but never in the good ones.

What is it about other countries that makes people love them so much? Overall, the United States is a good country. I can see why people in other countries would fantasize about the United States, as it has much other countries may be lacking.
But why do people practically drool over Japan?

I was thinking of putting a top hat on my avatar. While it does somewhat violate my principals, it may be worth it. I mean, if i do it will look like the ponytail part is not attached to my head...
