I do all kinds of handicrafts. I spin and make my own yarn, crochet, sculpt, do papercrafts, make bath products, sew, and I got a needle felting project for Christmas that I want to learn how to do.
So many things, that's amazing. I tried to learn to crochet when I was younger, but it didn't stick . . .
I crochet on muscle memory now, I have been doing it most of my life. I once crocheted a queen sized afghan in under a week.... I didn't do anything else that week mind you, but I was still impressed with my self.

Wow, that is impressive! Was it all one color, or many?

It is actually a giant rainbow flag with a verigated rainbow border (because I am that kind of queer xd ) It was all done in granny squares which work up pretty quick. The longest part of it was sewing the squares together.

it is huge and very warm but since I have a twin bed and it is queen sized I can double it up and make it warmer. And since it is granny squares there are wholes as a part of the pattern and it works in the summer since it breathes but I still feel covered (I have a hard time sleeping without some kind of blanket)

Oh it sounds just perfect. I'm the same, have to have a blanket of some sort and pillows to snuggle in as well.

I end up cocooning myself in blankets and pillows and then my cat digs in to the blankets to get some cuddles in too.... he gets really annoyed if I fall asleep before him and he wakes me up so I can let him in to the cocoon.

Aw, snuggle kitty~ Mine just drape themselves over me. Not so great as I'm a restless sleeper and move a lot.

I think I move a bit in my sleep since I have fibromyalgia and tend to not be able to get comfy but Harry seems to find ways to cuddle in close no matter what.

A determined snuggler, I like that. Mine don't give up either. They get right back where they want once I'm done moving for the time being.

My boy can be so stubborn when it is cuddle time. I am just happy he ignores the birds and lets them keep climbing around my shoulders and he will snuggle my feet on the other side of my laptop. I don't trust the dogs like that. But then again my cat is younger than the bird I have had the longest (Momo the conure is 4.5 and Harry the cat is 3.5) I know it is still a risk though. Even a tiny bit of cat bacteria can make a parrot very sick.

Aw, that's good that there is a place for all to snuggle. Oh dear, I had no idea it could hurt them that much. I've never had birds, just kitties and a dog here and there.

Birds are quite different. My four year old was my first bird and I have learned so much about them. They are a lot of work but are so good for my anxiety and depression to care for them.

I'm glad they are so helpful and dear hearts. I find my kitties can be the snuggliest when I am down.

Zodi bird is the best when I am depressed, she snuggles into the back of my ear. Momo is a goofball and always cheers me up with her antics and Boris is a great companion who keeps me stable.
