Writing again today. I'm unfortunately not getting to the part where they actually GO TO the ghost town before the deadline, but hopefully this is enough! Jake squinted out across the water. “Wot is... oh ********' gods,” he murmured. He turned to Dieder and Soren. “Those can't be wot I think they are...” “Arms. And legs,” Soren said. The ship was drawing closer to the grisly remains. A shark fin weaved among the bed of silver fishes that supported the limbs. Dieder watched as the nearest arm bobbed against the nibbles of a thousand tiny mouths. “Wot happened?” Jake whispered. “A ship go down, or somethin'? They's all too pale to be mers, and the mers ain't usually out in the Air Ring, anyway. They look human. Or maybe dwarven?” Dieder just shook his head. “I am not sure. It depends on... it depends on how long they have been out here. Kai_Chi Imalyose I am never sure if I will draw or not. I have an hour and a half to draw. :3 I am currently reading. I will try to pry myself away from my book at 9:15 in order to draw for the 10 o clock curfew. I wonder if I will make it, or if I will finally give in. Is anyone else like this? you don't know if you will draw until you draw? or you decide not to draw but end up drawing anyways? for this contest, I mean. YUP!!!!... many times. I work long hours so when I get home I have have about an hour and a half (not counting the time it takes me to prepare something for supper) to draw before I need to update the thread. To be honest a lot of the time I want to just take a nice long bath or go to bed early to be less tiered in the morning. Or even play some video games, or work on my portfolio... but I still manage to pull myself on this path. I hope I keep at it, so that all the times I sacrificed before aren't in vain X3 Ethereal Phantasmagoria I am most definitely like this. I'm really iffy about doing this sometimes and I usually can't stop playing whatever game I'm on to draw and whatnot. eh, I know. i'm literally AMAZED and in wonder of myself that I am still part of this. and I def know about that "wanting to go to sleep" early thing. but I keep thinking "i've come this far, I can't give up now". so when I try to sleep or keep reading it NAGS at me, lol. at first what kept me going was the fact that I was SURE I wouldn't be able to stay in the contest, so I wanted to see how long I would last. now... I really think I might have a shot.

I've been coming back home from school completely exhausted. The only reason I don't fall asleep right when I get home is because of this event. I know that if I sleep then, I'm not getting up until past the deadline >.> But I still have the urge to procrastinate. It's pretty much an ingrained habit for me. I guess like you, the only reason I'm still going is because 1. I have momentum right now 2. I made up my mind to try 3. I want to see how far I will be able to make it as well. Especially now that I've convinced a friend to join me in this.

Normally I wouldn't be so utterly disgusted... but TWO PEOPLE have put it in their favourites in the last 2 minutes of it being up on deviant art... It's in my scraps because it's junk.... Granted the whole purpose of this is to MAKE me use my computer and my tablet. but right now it's just so hard with work that I'm surprised I've made it past a week... and with all but a few done digitally.

You can do it !!! : D just don't give in, your almost 1/4th of the way there... just think about it, its already been 24 days!!! almost a hole month... thats crazy : D You've come so far!!! and if you or anyone else ever needs a pep talk to try to get motivated, I suggest comming here and chatting with people for a bit, see what others have drawn, get inspiration! Breaking the old habbits and getting into a new routine like this is tuff but just take it one day at a time and slowly we'll all get there together : )

To put it simply... I screwed up .. and made a mistake. : ( I'm trying to think of a way to make it better but really... I did something wrong and shouldn't have done that. I was thinking maybe I could post the next day in advance as well so that everyone has the same right. To try and make up for my mistake... but I'm not to sure everyone would like getting a theme in advance like that... : ( What do you think?

I'm the type of person who tries to be nice with everyone and I don't think it helps me in this case.
