Actually, I love cartoons...I just try to ration them, so I don't only watch cartoons. And cartoons, Pasa, are one of the things I was going to teach you about...in fact...*Flicks his hand at the TV and freezes it for a second*...why don't all four of us sit down and learn about them a little.
*Begins explaining the basic principles of television...how dozens of dozens of pictures, when flicked past the eye fast enough, seemed to move...and he makes the example with a series of smaller pictures, flipping them so they seem to move*

Passura is fascinated by the idea that pictures can be made to seem to move. He begins to badger Kerobian about it, going into a depth of detainl that soon bores the little ones to tears.
"Uncwel Kewo... cawn we finwish the cawtoooon now?" they beg in unision.

The siblings don't mind and Passura soon sees why. The cartoon in question is very very funny, if a little violent. "Are all cartoons like that one?" he asks once it is over.

Like books, cartoons are an art form, Pasa...making them requires great talent...even more so than a book...many people have to work together on a cartoon...an author just has to work with their own heads, and their editors. But, I know most of the good ones...and can point out good and bad to you. Now, yes, most of the good ones are a touch violent. That is because most humor for children is slapstick humor...not the wordplays adults like me love. Although I am one of the rare few who loves both...I get it from one of my human fathers...many, many years ago.
**True, by the way...Dad was the one who really taught me to love cartoons...Mom likes them, but Dad is the one who really grew up watching them...funny thing is...they're the same age**

**movie theaters give me headaches... I have a touch of night blindness and the contrast of light and dark is a bit too much... so it was Yosh who took them to most of their movies... I on the other hand have always loved cartoons and animation... and I love the old stuff... the kind I grew up with... so we shared that at home. Small wonder Yuki wants to go into that field, huh?**
Passura's face falls a bit, but he still wants to learn more about it. Suddenly he remembers he was to unpack. He asks Kero if he had sent the little qwent to his room yet or not.

Fair enough, Pasa...and Yes, Luna...Pasa can read thoughts...but he reads everything, unlike you and me...we just read emotion...and my emotions tell me it's naptime for you two...and for Kero, when he helps Pasa out.
