Xia had begrudgingly shared her berries only because of the bond she shared with the enemies of the show-off. She'd be taken out first. When the berries were gone, the white harpy harumphed and sat down, still holding the bowl. "Stupid furballs," she mumbled.

Her stomach rumbled a bit and looked towards it as if she could see what's wrong. A strange sensation shook her body and she felt like she'd touched an electric eel, but without the hurt. She let out a puff of air to relax and noticed she wasn't the only one to have experienced. "What ... was that? Who did that? Bramble?" Bramble didn't go through with it or her feathers woulda poofed them all right through the walls.

It wasn't too long after than the danged masked jerks returned only to bind them again. "Really? Make up yer mind, Lunch." she grumbled at them. But then, she was so very grateful for the interference these little dudes provided because they brought her to him. He was so much more beautiful than the sweaty, sculpted beefcake. Beefcake had nothing on this magnificently macho and perfectly coiffed plume. Her heart beat fast. This was her destiny. The reason why she was drawn to that boat and it left with her still on it. Fate.

Xia pushed through the others to put herself in the forefront, She preened and fluffed up as best she could with her hands bound still. She knew she had a slight edge because she was beautiful and fierce. And she could kick Bramble's butt any time. Which, now was starting to appeal to her. "He is mine, and you will have to get through me first if you think you even stand a chance, show-off." The dawn phoenix harpy puffed her chest and got in Brambles face

Perhaps she had been fishing for compliments, but it did indeed work. As he gushed over her the female blushed and scooted closer to him. "I'm as graceful as you are powerful. I feel so safe around you." She never worried for her or her daughters safety when Junior was around. If anything tried, they'd quickly think otherwise.

With a quick peck to his cheek, she quickly swam a few feet away to suddenly splash the male with her fin. Her giggles bounced off the surrounding trees. "Gotcha."

"Well, it is reflective." He spoke with a laugh as he moved more into the springs. It did feel wondrous on the aches he didn't know he had. Possibly from the evening.

He exhaled happily as she settled in with him, slowly sitting down to allow the water up to his neck. But there was a reason he was there in the hotsprings. The angel softly kissed her cheek. "Want to make these hot springs hotter?"

After what seemed like forever walking in the jungle, following the tracks, shouting caught his attention. And bird noises. "What was that?" Whatever it was, obviously that warranted their attention. With a frown he quickened his pace, hand still in Harmonia's.

Which brought them to the village. With a very flexing Adonis -got to admire his dedication to posing- sending birdvana down upon the heads of very short masked pae. It chaos.
"What is going on here? Do you see Adora?" Of course his strawberry haired daughter was his main priority.

More pae started flooding in, obviously in favor of the masked pae. He gestured to Harmonia to hide in a bush with him. It would do no good for them to be caught. Then a horrendous screech pierced his ears, causing the fae to wince.

Well...hello there handsome... Tristen thought to himself, gazing upon the male who obviously had everyones attention. Who was he, and could he get Harmonia on board with him for a menage tois?

Then the ground began to shake...Oh dear guardians.

From the jungle, Venus emerged. Not the Venus everyone was used to, the Venus who was perfectly coiffed and jovial. This Venus was dirty. Her dress was torn. Her hair was a mess. SHE HAD BROKEN A NAIL. Her eyes shown with fiery anger as she hovered over the little tiki cat... thing.

"YOU. YOU DID THIS!" She shrieked.

The little feline shivered in fear. -- Under its mask it kinda looked like this: crying -- The jig was up. The mistress was back. Not even their shocky wingy godking could save them now.

Venus realized that pretty much the entire passenger list was in attendance. Her face immediately brightened into a forced smile. She went from Godzilla to Goddess of Love in about 2.5 seconds. "Hahaha, hello daaaaarlings," she gushed, patting the little cat on the head albeit harder than necessary. She would save her rampage for later. "Where have you all been?"

The sun was shining brightly as Venus exited the ship. She had had a long luxurious stay at the spa and was ready now to greet her guests and have them bask in her pampered glory. Her skin glowed and her new hairstyle of even bigger curls bounced as she walked. She even had the radiant smile of having spent her nights with Adonis.

Best. Trip. Ever.

Stepping into the resort, the goddess called out.

"HELLO, MY DARLINGS! I hope you are finding everything to your liking... Hello? HELLO? Where is everyone?"

They were all gone. All of them. Even the waitstaff. Where were those mangy furballs? This was the last time she'd use native pygmies. But where were the guests? Who would love her? WHO WOULD BASK IN HER GLORY?
Venus set out in a huff to find her guests.

The jungle was not kind...

Nyra shivered, the not-altogether-unpleasant sensation racing up and down her spine. She'd been ready to attribute it to the odd berries when the other white bird said something to one of the others. Had she done that? What was it? It wasn't necessarily bad, just...strange. She'd just managed to re-preen her feathers to lay flat again when the short little pests showed up again.

Cue the repeat of the hassle of trying to bind Nyra. She'd make the little pests pay.

Nyra had preoccupied herself with the dark thoughts of all the horrible things she'd do to the tiny masked beasts as soon as she got her claws free when swiftly her mind was wiped blank except for a sole line of thought.

Who was this gorgeous treasure and how did she make him hers?

He was like a shining, precious treasure. The warrior bird was seized by the desire to claim this treasure as her own, to take it away and guard it protectively. It was to be hers. Only hers. To be horded and protected, precious and rare and hers.

Nyra was flushed with warmth, some anger at the other birds, some triggered by the arrival of this new one. It wasn't self-consciousness, though the warmth hit her cheeks in a similar manner, It also warmed her throughout, encouraging her to act, to show these prissy birds what a proper warrior was, how only she deserved the attention of this shiny new arrival.

She blinked and frowned at the growling orange bird. That was supposed to scare her? Ha! She had a better idea than some of these prissy birds, but she was still no match for Nyra! Nyra was a proven warrior and hunter! Strutting forward, Nyra whirled on the group with a scowl. "Prissy birds don't impress Nyra! Warriors impress Nyra! No one better warrior and hunter than Nyra!" she crowed, thrusting her chest forward to show off the necklace of bones and teeth that she'd crafted to show off trophies from her hunts. None of them had a trophy like that. Clearly, this shining treasure was looking for a fierce warrior to protect and dote over him.

He smiled, glad to know he was able to provide a safe home for their family. Two of the most important women in his life deserved to be as safe as they possibly could be. It was part of the reason he'd been so excited at the idea of them living together. He could keep close to Nereus and help raise Aysel where he could.

"Aaaah!" He fake screamed, wincing in the horror! She was the master of trickery! "You are the winner! I yield to your superior skills~" All the while, Junior was scooching closer to where she was swimming so gracefully. Mmm, rwar~

Reflective, huh?" She pondered that, following him into the depths of the spring. As it edged up past her waist and around her lower back Nicky let out an involuntary moan of pleasure. Oh Venus the hot water felt so good on aches she hadn't realized ever existed. Or maybe she had just been ignoring them? The night before had been strenuous to say the least.

"Aaaaah~" Her eyes rolled to the back of her head for a moment, sinking into the water as they came to a stop. Her head fell back, enjoying the warmth against her scalp. She was quite aware of what he was saying, but at a loss to answer him. Of course her answer was yes, but her voice wasn't responding. It just wanted to let him know she was experiencing a wonderful sensation at that very moment.

There was no mistaking that yell. What in the name of all things Venus was Adonis doing?! If it were just herself, this would be where she'd turn around. Trying not to sigh the Deity allowed Tristen to drag her further into the jungle glad at least her hair was up. One of the branches got her shoulder. It was enough to scratch but not draw blood.

A soak in the hot tub was must after all of this!

Finding themselves in a village of pygmy things, she had to pause just to take in everything she was seeing. Harmonia had no idea what the pygmy things were only quickly coming to blame them for taking the party outside of the hotel. Then there was Adonis being Adonis, flex for brains. He didn't get any of her attention. "Party was moved, rudely at that." The ropes were uncalled for someone was getting a piece of her mind.

Looking through the sea of neatly lined up mortals, a familiar one stood out. "There she is, she looks fine." See, there was nothing to worry about. Though seriously, why were the mortals tied up? Not all Mortals, one of them really caught her attention, " Himeros?" She didn't expect him to hear her, but was absolutely baffled why he was in the the wayward mortals tied up no less. Wait, maybe it was best not to wonder.

The screeching bird-pae caused her to wince and turn into Tristen, her head against the Champion as the headache started to form. Finally looking at the blue bird thing, it was a little easier to get a picture and she commented, "I see now." This looked a lot like the little guys were bringing dates for the blue thing. Maybe they couldn't tell harpies or preferences?

Before she could really think on it, Venus appeared. It was the state of her that cause Harmonia to let go of Tristen and start towards the Goddess of Love, "Mother, it is great to see you! Luau?" It was the mortals that didn't listen, and Himeros who probably couldn't resist a little fun with them in the process. Blaming them at the moment wouldn't do. Instead, she was trying to figure out how she could be of service to Venus. The jungle had been less kind.

Pelagious was enthralled as "Let's make a date" turned into "Gladiator Turkeys". Well. This was new...

Appearently, the bird brains were so entranced by the cahones of the big blue bird, they were gonna fight each other for him. Normally, a little anchovy would run from such chaos. He was a lover, not a fighter. But hey. This didn't involve him. Plus, he seen some feathers that would look lovely on his next fashion project. Especially the big...Tuurkey.

Then he realized, it was still a dream and dream feathers weren't real. Which made him sad.

Which made him start fighting to get into the soup pot again.

Which was of course inturupted by Venus. Or was it? "Holy hell, you look rough." he mumbled under his breath, not realizing how insulting that would be to the Goddess of Love. He had never seen the poor Goddess look so bad. He actually felt sorry for her.

"You ummm... You have a nest of birds stuck in your hair..." he politely let her know. Dream or not, she would definitely appreciate someone looking out for her looks.

In a strange turn of events, Dysmas had gone from his eyes locked on Sweetie from behind a bush, patiently waiting for an opportune moment to break her free. To being ushered forward by a pointy spear. Dysmas wasn't sure how such a small creature (made even smaller due to Dysmas being so tall) was able to take him captive so easily, but there really was a lot of these things.

As the little creatures pushed him into the procession of cruise ship pae, Dysmas tried to subtly work his way through the group, trying to get closer to Sweetie. He could see the cauldron looming ahead of them. If this was how they should go, at least they would go together!

As things proceeded, he could care less about the male harpy that had shown up or the slightly offensive things he had said. He was honed in on Sweetie. At last he was close enough to her that their eyes had met. "I'm so sorry!" He called out over the heads of the several pae that were still in between them.

That was all he managed to say before chaos ensued again and he had to take his eyes off of her in fear of whatever might be coming out of the forest. He watched as someone emerged, he kind of thought it was Venus, but she looked really, really different, but did this mean they were saved? His eyes went back to Sweetie.

Oh how her blush brought such color to her face! It always brought a warmth to his chest when he saw it, saw the way he could still affect her. Despite the length of time and everything they'd been through she still managed to drive him a little crazy with love. Whenever they were united he felt like a love sick puppy all over again. He wasn't complaining, he just knew he needed to have that sweet face in his life all the time.

He breath caught in his throat for a moment at her choice. He'd planned on waiting a bit longer before taking her there, but if that's what the lady wanted he'd provide. A nervousness settled over him, but he pushed it out of his mind so it wouldn't show in his actions. He took her arms gently, “Nature walk it is!” he announced. They set out arm in arm, at a steady pace towards the water falls.

As they walked they reflected on past Venus Day events as well as what brought them there in life. How they had met, the things they had been through. He shared his heart openly and honest with her. “I'm tired of this back and forth.” he spoke softly, a sadness filling his eyes. "Yukiko, would you want to be with me every day?” With the way joy had come over her features at being able to stay with him on the ship, he had assumed it was so. He just loved to hear it from her own lips. It made him feel more powerful and wanted than any god status could give him.

Conversation broke off at times as he pointed out some of the native birds of the island. He didn't know their names or much about them, but they were just a pleasure to look at. Their vibrant colors and the way their song filled the air. So unlike the island back home. It was an experience they were getting to share in alone. He wanted that. He wanted to experience every bit of life with her.

They finally made the hike up to the waterfall. It wasn't a massive downpour of water, but instead a steady stream flying off the top of a cliff down into a small pool. The splashes of water flew out into the air and caught the sunlight in such a way that a rainbow ran across it. It was absolutely breath taking, and the sound of the water captivating. He grinned at her, leading her close to the pool and pulling away. He stepped back and just looked at her, “So absolutely beautiful.” he murmured softly, taking her and the scene around them in.

“Yukiko.” he said, suddenly serious. His hands began to tremble slightly, his eyes searching hers earnestly. He wasn't unsure of her answer, but to do this right was so incredibly important to him. “I love you so much, Yukiko. I'm so tired of not being able to wake up beside you every morning, of not hearing your laughter every day, of not getting to be a real family. I've missed out on so much because... because of who I am.” he looked away for a second.

“Godhood... It feels more like a curse when it means I can't be with you all the time. I've thought about it, Yukiko. I'd give it all up for you. I feel empty when you're away and only feel like me when we're together. This life has nothing it can offer me if you're not in it.”

Slowly he lowered himself down to one knee, still holding both of her hands in his. He dropped one hand in order to bring out a little pouch and remove a ring from it. It glistened in the sunlight, rainbows bouncing off of it as well and hitting the landscape around them. A beautiful light blue gem in the shape of a snowflake sat on top a gold band. It was definitely large enough to be noticed, but delicately shaped for her feminine hands. He held it up to her, his voice catching and tears brimming his eyes.

“Yukiko. Will you do me the honor of being by my side always? Will you let me live life with you and experience it all together?”

“Would you be my wife?”

Bastet had growled in frustration numerous times as her every attempt to escape was somehow thwarted. The crazy pae she was locked up with did not seem to help at all, they only proved to get in her way. She watched curiously as some strange shadow passed over the cage, stirring things up for whatever reason, but it looked like the strange masked pae were going to take them out of the cage. Now was her moment!

Thwarted yet again. They had all too quickly bound her up, even as she fought and protested their sheer number allowed them to overpower her. There was two pygmies on each limb holding her down while they bound her at a speed that seemed impossible. Bastet's frown was so deep she could hardly see out of her scrunched eyes.

Then, she saw him and he looked delicious. In what way he looked delicious was subject to great internal debate. Even Bastet might try to charm him, even if it was not by instinct like the harpies, perhaps her charms would free her. However... It was incredibly difficult to be charming while bound the way that she was.

Then he ruined it. Who was he calling nasty?! She hoped he choked on whatever was in the cauldron!

A few moments later, Bastet found herself unsure of who the strange disheveled creature, that had emerged from the jungle, was. She had no idea what was going on, and there was nothing she could do about it considering her current status.

Cerelia wrung out her hair as she stood on the beach, freshly emerged from the ocean. Now to figure out what to do next. It surprised her that as she began to walk along she noticed the beach was empty. She continued for some time and wondered out loud, "where is everyone." She was sure that she hadn't been swimming that long, but decided to go check the hotel anyways.

Cerelia walked around the hotel for a while, everything mysteriously still there as well. At one point she stopped and glanced out a window to make sure the boat was still there. It was. She blinked, confused, wondering if she should check out the boat before everyone left with out her. Had she been in the water that long? She would have thought they would have stayed on the island longer than this.

Cerelia sighed, making her way to the boat as swiftly as her land legs would carry her. All was still there as well. It felt so strange to be so alone and it felt like she had entered some sort of alternate world where she was the only one. How unfun. Cerelia finally found a cherub doing some cleaning on the ship, "what is going on?" She asked it, relieved to have found somebody. Maybe ther was another party that was announced while she was in the water, she really didn't want to miss it.

Caine winced a little as Venus exploded from the jungle around them. Oh she was furious. Cowering from the potential wrath of the rightfully angry Goddess, Caine started to look around to see if anyone had any ideas. He spotted a familiar face not too far away from him. Close enough, in fact, that he was able to squirm his way over to her. "Bastet.." He called to her, wondering if they could possibly get free.. Probably, he had sharp enough claws if she could get the rope between them.. A blush crossed his face as he remembered their time at the party the night before. It was racing through his mind as he shook himself. Now wasn't the time for such thoughts. Now he just wanted to get as many pae free as he could. Who knew what Venus was doing over there.

"Can you get your bindings between my claws? I think I can cut you free" He offered, claws snapping on reflex.

Bastet was surprised to hear somebody call her name and turned her head towards the voice. She recognized the pae instantly, hard not to with claws like that. She had nearly forgotten about him, it was easy to dismiss memories like that of a clawed pae to a strange dream. Apparently this pae was quite real, last night had been strange indeed.

Bastet tried to soften the scowl that had been permanently glued to her face since she had been captured. It took a moment of looking at him to recall his name. Though this was admittedly awkward, she hadn't expected to see this guy again. Had he expected it to be something more? Thinking about it now, she couldn't really understand why she had felt the way she did last night. Perhaps she had just gotten caught up in the moment...Caine! That was his name.

Those strange claws could prove useful though. "We can give it a try." She whispered, not wanting to draw attention to themselves. She held up her hands to him. If the rope was gone, could she outrun the shorties and the bird? She hadn't a clue.

Yukiko smiled brightly up at him, fingers lacing with his as they walked. The quiet was comfortable, and she was enjoying the peace that they had. They had both been through so much in the last years, not the least of which included starting a family and falling in love. And now they had grandchildren as well... At that moment in time, she couldn't care less about whatever...less than good things had happened to them over the years because whatever else had happened, they had been brought together and that was what mattered to her.

She turned to him as he spoke and smiled softly. "Of course I would, darling," she promised, though there was a touch of sadness in her own eyes. Of course, being with him every day was the dream but she knew he had other responsibilities, things he'd had long before they had ever met. She understood that, and would never dream of holding it against him. He let it drop after that, and pointed out several of the native bird. She smiled and commented on how beautiful they were, and how much she was enjoying their outing.

The sight of the waterfall made her sigh happily. This was quite possibly the most beautiful sight she'd ever seen and the fact that Anteros had shared it with her meant so very much to her. She blinked when he let go of her and turned to see what he was going and she blushed at his murmur. And then he grew serious. Her smile faltered a little and she wondered if something was wrong. She squeezed his hands lightly as she watched him, concern in her eyes.

She smiled again when he told her he loved her, and she murmured "I love you, too," in response as he continued. She didn't quite understood where he was going with this, not at first. His being a god had been the only reason they'd met in the first place. Besides that, she wasn't worth giving up all of that. And she knew he loved his mother, loved his brothers and sisters even if he did get a little jealous of Eros now and then. It was simply part of who he was, part of the man she loved.

It wasn't until he went down on one knee that she fully understood what he was saying. Her breath hitched again and she swallowed past the pounding of her heart in her throat. "Oh!" she breathed when he pulled a beautiful ring out of a pouch. "Anteros, I-" Oh, Guardians, how she wanted to say yes and collapse into his arms knowing that he was hers, fully hers, and that every day could be like this. That she would go to sleep and wake up in his arms every day for the rest of their lives. But she just couldn't help feeling that she wasn't worth all this.

And yet here he was, on one knee, vowing to give it all up for her. All she had to do was say yes and she could have everything she'd wanted for years. They could have a life together. How could she deny them that? Her emotions had been bubbling up as she stood there for what had seemed like hours but really could only have been a few seconds, and she burst into tears even as she smiled. "Yes!" she cried, falling to her knees as her legs were not quite up to the task of holding her up any longer. She shook with the force of her emotions as she threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. "Yes, yes, yes, I will, of course I will," she repeated as she held him. "If you're sure about this, about...giving up everything you've always been...just for me, then yes." She sniffled and smiled as she leaned back enough to curve her hand over his cheek. "I would take you any way I could get you, Anteros, and this... this is like a dream. I love you so very much, my dearest heart, and I am yours, I have always been yours, and I always will be." The look on her face was radiant as she smiled up at him, every last bit of the love she felt for him showing in her eyes.

Harmonia was working on her own way to try and subtly help Venus when a mortal dared say something about her looks! Stiffing up, Harmonia turned to look at the blue and silver pae. He earned a hard glare as she placed him. The one singing to her brother during the ship. May Venus curse him with the same love-life. It was unfair but how dare the mortal say such a thing to the always lovely Venus? That was her mother!

Tristen got a quick look, nothing hard to it but her eyes did fall espically on him before going right back to Venus. She had to fix this. No Eros or Aglaia there still had to be something she could do.

"Your outfit for the new party area is almost ready. I can help make you more festive it you'd like? There is plenty to work with. Crown of leaves maybe? " With a big smile, big enough to be forced a bit, she really did try. Not only would a crown fit Venus, but would give her a chance to work with her hair. She really hoped no one had a mirror.
