"I jog myself" Patrick stated. "Wait, there is a gym?" he asked. He didn't know the town had a gym nor where it would be located at. He looks over to him after hearing the question. "Uh..." he began as he saw the presentation of the chocolate. "Yes, yes that is true" he answered. "Outside of competitions though, but that wouldn't matter to me" he thought to himself then he stood up and walks over to Roy. He kisses the guy on the cheek without thinking about it first after getting a closer look of the cake, "You did good and I do mean that" he said smiling. ╚══════════════╝

Roy's face absolutely lit up like a Christmas tree when Patrick kissed his cheek and when he complimented Roy's hot mess of a cake the Officer rubbed the spot on his cheek with a small smile"Well...gee...thanks..."he said before Roy glanced off to the side for a moment before quickly placing his own kiss on Patrick's cheek. Roy quickly picked up a nearby knife and two plates"Dessert?"Roy asked cheerfully before cutting into the cake and slicing a typical triangle. However as he went to lift the slice it practically fell apart as he struggled to scrape it all onto his plate"Um...I'll take this one..."Roy said with a sheepish grin on his face as he held the pile of chocolate cake on his plate.
Patrick was pleasantly amused by Roy's reaction to the kiss on the cheek and even more when he received one to his own cheek. He got that warm feeling he would usually get from being helpful and his cheeks were a light tint of pink. "Sure" he said smiling to the question.He thought the way the cake slice fell apart as it was lift was sort of funny and almost laughed out loud. "Okay. Roy took the knife and cut one more piece, being extra careful this time and while the slice of cake crumbled slightly uit wasn't nearly as bad as Roy placed the slice on the cake"There we go! Not nearly as hideous!"Roy said as he took a fork and took a bite of the mess on his plate. He nodded his head happily, pleased that his cake at least tasted fine"If you pack the food up I'll do the dishes again, it only seems fair..."Roy offered as he took a sip of his eggnog before taking another bit of the cake.
Patrick watches Roy cut the next slice cake, "Looks like a pretty good slice to me" he said positively. He grabs himself a fork also and takes his first bite of the slice of cake. "Very nice choice of frosting. Reminds me Reese cups" he commented and does love himself some chocolate candy. "Fair enough it is" he responded to Roy doing the dishes. He resumes eating the cake slice and washes it down with the eggnog. When he was done started packing up the food into bowls and plate with a cover for leftovers Roy could take home with him. ╚══════════════╝

Roy smiled as he finished off his piece of cake and nodded his head"When I saw you had peanut butter frosting it was too good to pass up!"he explained as he quickly took all the plates, silverware, pots, and pans and began to arduous task of washing each of the items one by one and placing them on the drying rack. In between each wash Roy took a sip of his fourth eggnogg, clearly a big fan of the drink"Almost done..."Roy told Patrick as all that was left was the larger pots and what not.
"I will buy be sure to buy more for the next occasion then" said Patrick. He pours kitten food into Hiro's food bowl then watches the kitten walk over to the bowl. Notices how many cups of eggnog Roy had so far. "Might just make some more for New Years Eve" he thought. "Want to start the Christmas movie marathon after we're done with the kitchen?" he asked Roy. ╚══════════════╝

Roy was scrubbing out the last pot before finally finishing the dishes, thankfully Roy was very efficient when it came to doing anything workish related. Roy then washed his hands to clean them of food particles before finally turning to Patrick"Sure! But first could you open my present? It's not much but I'd like to know whether I should return it or not..."he explained as he refilled his fifth glass of eggnog and made his way over to the living room. Roy had gotten Patrick the horror movies 'Insidious one, two, and three' and was lucky enough to get the box set with all three movies. Of course Patrick did say he had quite the movie collection so Roy was hesitant at first but figured he'd get the best use out of the movies if he didn't have them and if he did have them Roy could just return them and just give him the money spent on them as a gift instead.
"Not a problem" said Patrick about opening up the gift first before the marathon. Hiro follows his owner as he follows Roy to the main living room. He managed not to distract himself during dinner wondering what Roy may have gotten. They have gotten know each a lot from the two times they hung out together in the past. He was wondering what the gift was now though as they living room. ╚══════════════╝

Roy had picked the gift up from where he left it and held it out for Patrick to take and open"Merry Christmas..."he said with a small smile on his face, internally cringing at the mess of wrapping paper and tape that he was handing to Patrick.
Patrick accepts the wrapped up gift in his hands after it was held out to him. He was careful about unwrapping because he doesn't like to destroy art for any reason. Quite surprised to see what was inside the wrapping paper. "Oh wow. Haven't had the chance to see these movies let alone own them" he said smiling. He thought it was very thoughtful of Roy to buy him this box set of Insidious. Helps that he had stopped collecting movies since his second high school so this gift updates the movie collection quite a bit. He looks back to Roy, "May kiss and hug you even though there isn't a mistletoe around?" he asked and hinted as to what kind of kiss he was referring to. ╚══════════════╝

Roy's face broke out into a huge smile when Patrick said that he didn't own or even see the movies yet. Roy immediately released a sigh of relief that didn't know he was holding"I'll admit I was worried for a moment..."he said with a small smile. However when Patrick asked for a kiss and a hug Roy's face only turned a light pink this time instead of lighting up like it did earlier"....well...I...."Roy stuttered slightly as he clamped his mouth shut for a moment and decided to let actions speak for him this time. Roy reached out an grabbed Patrick by the front of his shirt and pulled him in, placing his lips against Patrick's. Roy released his grip on Patrick's shirt as soon as their lips met so that if he wanted to pull away he could. It felt somewhat strange to Roy, giving his first kiss one Christmas.
Patrick was glad to be the cause of Roy smiling this much. He watches his reaction to the kiss and waited patiently as to what the older male will do next. He was surprised by the pull yet felt a spark as soon as their lips touched. He kisses back and held the gift under his arm to hug Roy with his other arm. "Did you feel a spark just now?" he asked a moment later when he pulls back to end the kiss. Wondering if the guy first the same or that maybe it was just the sensation of what have been his first kiss. He doesn't know if kissed anyone before that moment just that it didn't happen during his childhood and several months ago and the journal doesn't always go into detail. ╚══════════════╝

Roy's heart was racing as he felt Patrick kiss back, feeling a strange but pleasant sensation from the kiss. Once Patrick pulled back Roy was at a loss for words for a moment as his mind felt like a mess, however he managed to collect himself enough to think straight"I...I don't know....I felt something....something nice...."he couldn't explain it no matter how hard he tried. He stood there for a moment before a small smirk crossed Roy's face "I just gave you my first kiss....and we haven't even been on a first date yet..."Roy realized, not that he was complaining at all, he just found it humorous.
Patrick let his arm back to the side ending the hug and he was relieved by Roy's response. "I was certainly missing out on the kissing thing" he thought himself. He felt a bit guilty after hearing Roy's next response. "Sorry, but maybe it can be seen as a practice kiss" he apologized and suggested. There were some many ways that kiss could have gone wrong. He doesn't regret requesting it though, "I will place the box set with the collection" he said and moves to put the box collection with the rest of the movies and folded up the wrapper to place it right next to it. ╚══════════════╝
