Haha mine was Gravitation too. But I used to read Dragon Ball Z/GT fan fics first that were yaoi. The first one I ever read was by far my favorite! But my first anime was Gravitation! heart

mine was gravitation... it's teh awesome and all... but i liked "DESIRE" more.. ^__^ though gravitation is a widely known seriesm and desire is a one book wonder... and gravitation is a shonen ai and Desire is a yaoi.. ^__^

Yaoi came before Shonen-ai for me. It was a Yu-Gi-Oh! Fanfic that a friend of mine let me read, it's been so long that I don't even remember the name of it. >__< My first Shonen-ai was Gravi. ^__^

Whilst I will always have a soft spot for my first yaoi manga and anime, I have come across quite a few better ones since. So in answer to your question, yes and no! ^_^

My very first yaoi pairing was Yami Bakura/Ryou Bakura. ^///^; Stick with it sometimes, too. But um... I'm preeetty certain my first manga in that category would be Tokyo Babylon, and first anime would be Sukisho...

The first pairing i ever liked was Kaworu/Shinji from Evangelion, and it completely broke my heart! The first shonen ai manga i ever read Gravitation.

My first yaoi was Selfish love by Naduki Koujima who is also the creator of Our kingdom ^_^. I have a strong feeling Naduki-sensai also created a SephirothxVincent doujin I found a little while back.
