Dr Sciurus

(N'awwwwh, poor thing. D: Hope it works out for you soon! <3)

Once his vision returned, Orrin stared vacantly before him. There were so many tunnels, and nothing else. What on Earth could the Doctor have down there? Standing up rather wobbily, he decided to give the tunnels a closer look. Inspecting every opening closely, he could hardly tell any difference between them. Was this a maze? Had he hidden something precious to him at the end of one of those tunnels? He might be mad if I touch anything..., Orrin thought to himself, and began turning back.

But then, he heard something. He most definitely did hear something further down that one tunnel. And there was a scent... It was vaguely familiar, but the zombie could not place it. But behind him, he did feel a rather delicious smell instead... But no. He shook his head, looking back at the tunnel. Food would have to wait. What if there was an intruder down there? Orrin simply could not let anyone harm his friend, not after all he'd done for him. Sciurus was one of the kindest people he ever had met, and if someone was out to hurt him, the green man wouldn't mind going back to snacking on people just one more time. As silently as he could, he snuck into said tunnel...

{It better, I've got a bloody song stuck in my head now, but it's in French And of course, without youtube O.O HOLY CRAP I DO STILL HAVE YOUTUBE!
W: Feh, that's only because he hasn't gone after your organs yet... Or tried to cut you open and see what zombies do and don't. Good to know the doc still has a nice side though.}

Sciurus couldn't well go off and search for the zombie, especially not with the food cooking. But every five seconds, pink eyes would peer around the door to meet an empty couch. Honestly, for all the man's intelligence and predatory assurance, apparently even he could still act like a five-year-old sometimes.

Voyager stared as most of his rocks agreed, something about the tunnels... He looked around, felt around. Even without his lights, the van was aware of his surroundings; and of course, he'd never get lost in his own tunnels, he was a Voyager. Part of that meant he was never really 'lost'. It might take a while, sure, but eventually he'd find wherever he needed to be. Maybe they meant a presence? "Heh... Really doc? Complain about getting lost all the time, but ya still gotta wander around down here instead of just calling me? And I haven't even gotten any 'signs' either... Idiot."

(Orrin would never dare let him. Not after what happened to the other doctors... xD)

The noise kept getting closer, and Orrin had to work hard to fight the tears back. Though he may seem rather frightening himself, he was such a scaredy cat. And someone was most surely ahead. Or something. It sounded big... Perhaps too big? With a generally good night vision, he began to see it, too. But he couldn't make it out yet. It was mere movements to him, but there were most certainly moving towards him. And there, there was a sudden voice.

Orrin stiffened, as a shill went through his body. He had been seen. Or had he really? Doc...? He knows him? But even so, the voice sounded somewhat hostile to him. Clearly, Voyager was merely teasing, but Orrin couldn't quite tell the difference. Whatever bravery he did have when entering the tunnel quickly faded, as the large and "hostile" figure was approaching. He was hungry and he was tired, and rather lost. The zombie sat down on the ground, huddling up by the wall and began crying, rather pathetically.

{Mamma mia, maybe I'll just throw him into the guild library}

Sciurus was now just standing outside the kitchen waiting. his glances were now directed at the food every so often, but really he was itching to track Orrin down.

Voyager looked around. He could definitely tell there was something there, he just couldn't tell what. He collected his rocks, putting them back up by the windshield and went to investigate. It didn't seem like the presence was Sciurus, and there also weren't any of the usual swearwords. After going a bit farther the van heard...Crying? That probably wasn't the Doc then. "Uh... Hullo?" If Sciurus was gonna start trying to hide people down here, Voyager might have to do something to him... Again.

With his face buried in his knees, he heard it coming closer. Clearly, it had to be a monster planning to eat him. Probably a dragon. Or a gorilla. Or a giant axe murderer? No, it was probably a cyclops. Or a mountain troll. Either way, it was coming to kill him. Kill him all the way, this time. And he most certainly did not want to experience death again. Besides, he had to find his loved one before he could die. No, this simply would not do.

Orrin looked up shyly, his vision clouded by tears. "P-p-p-p-please... D-do-do-dont h-h-h-hurt... me...." But when he blinked his eye, he simply tilt his head curiously to the side. Is he a... car? Somehow, he could not imagine a car being a murderer. While being afraid of most anything, and even normally being nervous near of traffic, a talking car was to him a good thing. Perhaps he had been watching too many cartoons and children's movies, but he could only think of kind cars. Cars the likes of... "Her... b-bie...?" Orrin got up and walked straight towards the unexpecting vehicle, without a single thought of possibly ending up as roadkill. He simply walked up to it and threw his arms around it. Never before had a zombie looked happier.

{ /Gets a face full of coffee & coffee everywhere after reading Herbie/ xD I love you. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerbiiiiiiiiiieee!! <3
V: Well he's obviously never met Christine, since he's still here}

"Seriously, where the hell did he go? Granted, I'm not Morimoto's albino clone, but he was hungry wasn't he?" Sciurus checked over the food in the kitchen. The steaks were done, the veggies were well, the pasta and potatoes could suffer a bit longer. He went down the hall, finding nothing in the bathroom, and came back to peer out in the office. It never occurred once about checking the hole in the wall to underground, not that the surgeon really could have found anything down there anyway. He feared the worst as he opened the third door in the office that lead down to the freezers and lab area. "Orrin?"

Voyager paused at the request of no harm and the distressed tone to it. If the surgeon had a hand in this, burying him might be the least of what he did. Suddenly there was movement and someone was hugging his face. "What the...? No dude, got it wrong. Herbbie's a Volkswagen. Y'know, the little round cars." Well... Coulda been worse I guess, least he didn't call me Christine. Some of 'em get real nasty if accidentally summoned Everyone knew Herbie from the movies, but few people really knew the story behind it. Herbbie actually did exist, a better known member of the legendary Gentry; and far more amicable than other members, say like Christine, or the time traveling DeLorean. But no less dangerous. "Never actually met him though... What'cha doing down here?"

"N-no Herbie...?" The zombie looked up, clearly disappointed. He didn't really understood the difference between fiction and reality, and still thought that Dora actually needed his help to find things. But if the car was not Herbie, then maybe he was... "B-brr-brum...?" The fact that they looked nothing alike did not even occur to him. This was clearly the heroic little car, that for some reason wasn't so little anymore. Happily cuddling the poor vehicle, he tried to remember why he were there. "D-doc... E-e-eat...", he mumbled, avoiding to admit to sneaking off.

{OwO SPEED BUGGY emotion_hug
Ooooooo British car! emotion_bigheart }

It was weird having someone hugging your face, but Orrin's joy and enthusiasm overruled any of Voyager's protests. "Um.. Yeah, Vroom Vroom. That's right." He revved his old V8 accordingly. "Oh, you tried eating him again? Well, 'least he didn't stab ya over it this time... But he didn't run down here..." Voyager trailed off, feeling around. Nope, the surgeon was nearby, but not in the tunnels. Although the van was completely wrong, he was completely casual about it, almost as if it were an everyday thing. "C'mon then, let's go back up. Maybe get you some food, huh?"
PostPosted: Sat May 24, 2014 12:28 pm

Dr Sciurus

Eat him? No, that wasn't at all what he meant! Orrins head went down in shame, being reminded of the earlier incident. But speaking of food... The Doctor was cooking, wasn't he? And... Orrin never told him where he went, did he? Oh dear... He probably shouldn't even be down there. Would Doc be mad now?

The green man looked across the tunnel. The distant scent of food was clear to him, and his tummy gave off an unhappy grumble. And even so, he turned around and went the other way. It somehow seemed safer that way.

Voyager looked at Orrin, noticing he wasn't happy anymore. "Aw, come on. I didn't mean it like that. Really, it's not like that's the worst thing Doc's had to deal with... And he's hard to kill, y'know? I'm sure he's alright with it." He started heading back following the food, but stopped when Orrin was going the other way. "Wait, that's not towards the food. It's this way...Um..." He turned and headed after the zombie, trying to remember what paths were that way.

Dr Sciurus

"N-n-not... n-not hu-hungry...", he mumbled in response. Though the truth was that he felt hungry enough to wonder what a car might taste like. And had Voyager, or Herbie, or Brum not spoken, he probably would have given it a nibble, at the least. But he had already hurt his friend, and what would the Doctor think of him now that he simply ran off? No, it was better to head elsewhere. Besides, those tunnels ought to end somewhere, and that somewhere might hopefully had an unoccupied trash bin around.

"You sure? My engine ain't the only thing rumblin around here. And whatever he was cooking smelled pretty good." Voyager really agreed with Sciurus about lights right now. He couldn't even send a message now to tell the surgeon to come get his friend because the poor b*****d would never find his way. If memory served, one of the tunnels would loop back around, while two tunnels were unfinished dead ends and one would pop out near outside the guild somewhere.

Dr Sciurus

His tummy kept rumbling as he went staggering forth through the tunnel, aiming most of his focus on not collapsing or stumble into a wall. But he managed to keep walking for some time, until he reached a sudden stop. Orrin simply stood there, staring at the wall before him, looking rather puzzled. Eventually, he sat down on the ground, though he kept his eyes tied to that wall, as if he was expecting it to open in a near future.

{/smacks head with something/ I'm sorry, I didn't realize you replied, All the running around in the event & on different computers & everything.}

Voyager blinked at the sudden stop, then looked at the wall. "Oh... Sorry about that, dead end. I was expanding around earlier, but I'm not really sure where to have it go... Wanna head back yet? You don't want the food to get cold." The Plymouth had been playing around with ideas all week, but wasn't sure what to do with the two tunnels. And apparently he'd have to think about putting lights in too.
