Ruedra woke a while later, the sat up quickly, wondering where she was. "Ungh.." The injury in her side was causing racks of pain up her body. She noticed that Kaige's jacket was around her, and smiled. After a moment, the pain stopped hurting quite as much, and she decided to go change.

She walked into the bathroom, and proceeded to take some spare clothing out of her bag and and change into them.

"Don't worry about te badge."

Kaige said drearily.

"I emit waves that jam homing beacons. It's for sneaking in enemy territory."

He got up and stared at her.

She noticed his bare arms without the jacket. They were covered with scars and cuts of all shapes and sizes.

"You should go next after Ruedra."

He began to unwravel bandages from around his chest.

Laeal grinned. "Yeah I guess." She put some of the fruit on her plate. and someon Shi's and and ducked under the table for a moment. Popping back up with an armful of rolls.

"There. I was saving those, but you need more than fruit for a breakfast." She set them on the table and picked up the bottle of grape juice. She poured some in each of the nice glasses, and set the bottle back down.

"Eat up." She said smiling at Shi.

Laela swallowed some lemon, made a face then sat up straight. "I don't know." She looked down, like she was thinking. "We should probably go to some other town or something. Like, maybe Durem?" She asked this because She needed to visit the Salon.

Naokomi abruptly stopped talking to Laela, freezing a bit. She stood up. "I should be going, I'm sorry I intruded upon you. Have a good day."

She bowed to be courteous and walked towards the door, opening it and closing it with a click. She was still utterly exhausted though, and barely made it to the top of the stairs, before crumpling to the ground. She didn't stop when she hit the stairs, and kept tumbling downward.

She kept going until she landed at the bottom of the stairs, a bruised, broken, and very unconcious wreck.

"Er.. What's going on down there?" asked Shi, getting up from the table and heading towards the stairs.

"Oh s**t.." he cussed, seeing the girl laying there, head cracked open and blood all over Laela's arms and hands. He raced down the stairs, quickly telling Laela to give the girl to him. The girl was safely put on his back, and he ran swiftly to the hospital.

Laire's eyes meandered from scar to scar, each one completely unique. She wondered, then, what kind of work Kaige had done before being dropped by the Organization to get such scars. Laire had no such scars. As a matter of fact, the only ones she had were from the operations performed upon her.

Unless... "Are all of those scars from combat?" she asked casually. "Or operations?" Seeing his frown, she added, "Or can't you remember?"
