Eternal Eyes(O/A)

((The first part is a memory that Maaya713 came up with.))
"Kasuna, why am I so different" Maaya asked him almost sadly, her emerald eyes, so own, sparkling with tears. She held them back as she had always done, never once allowing them to fall. Her brother reached over, gently placing his arm around her. "The Eternal Eye are different. But because they are different, they are special. And don't let anyone ever differently" Kasuna said to her in a comforting tone. She looked at him for a long time. "You are starting to sound just like Papa" she said in a teasing tone. He pulled her closer, ruffling her hair slightly. "Is that a bad thing" He asked her almost with the same kind of tone. She sagged into his embrace giggling."Nope! Thank you Kasuna! And don't forget, you're special too" she said in a higher tone then bounded away. The words were tracing themselves in his head. "You're special too!" He turned to his reflection in the water barrel. His eyes were deep brown, a small flare of crimson extending from his pupil he wasn't special, not even close.

Kasuna then opened his eyes and looked down the hall to his left where he thought he heard a familiar voice. He noticed Mamoru with two other people. One being Luna who happened to be Nykarian's sister "Well what do we have here" he asked calmly as he approached from behind Sothe and Luna. "Mamoru do you know where Gabriel is" he asked him. He usually asked him to spar around this time but he was no wheres to be seen inside the castle or in the yard surrounding it. He patiently waited for a response not even paying attention to the two who were now right beside him.

Saen looked at Nykarian as he stood up. "Ok, let's get this done. I'm sure you look convincing to them.."

Nykarian

"As long as Annexus doesn't get wind of us being there before we can get them, we should be fine," Nykarian said. "Everyone else will pretend they knew all about this 'plan' of mine, so that they don't look bad."

Saen started walking forward. "Let's get inside then."

Nykarian

Nykarian followed Saen, spinning his scythe. It was something he did out of boredom, not to intimidate people, and he usually didn't realize he was doing it. Luna had always hated it, before they were captured.

Saen looked at the guards of the entrance to the castle. "Alright, buddy. Hope you're good at acting."

Nykarian

Nykarian looked first at the closed gates and then at the guards above them. "Open the gates!" he shouted. "Dead man walking!"
"But sir, we ordered to close them," one of the guards shouted down. "Prisoners have escaped!"
"Unless you want to see the inside of a cell, you'll open these gates!" Nykarian shouted back, though all he could was that Sothe had got Luna out, but they were trapped in the castle. The guard shouted for the gates to be opened, and slowly they swung open. "Come on." He pushed Saen roughly through the gates, before shouting to the guards, "I'll be heading back out soon, and these gates better be open!"

Mamoru never took his eyes off the two before him as he replied to Kasuna. The boy was a thief, and a good one at that. Thieves had this uncanny ability to disappear as soon as you turned your back. "Gabriel is outside of town at the Liberation Army camp. It seems the Liberation Army kidnapped Isabel, and Gabriel went to rescue her.

While you're here, you can help me detain these two. They seem to have broken out of their cells," Mamoru said calmly.

Sothe knew their situation was getting more desperate by the minute. The longer they tarried here, the more likely the soldiers would find them. It was bad enough that Mamoru was here, much less Kasuna! Two highly skilled warriors versus a thief and a girl with no weapons. This is bad. This is really bad.

Kasuna looked at the two escapees. He knee one was a thief and the other was a girl with nearly zero fighting prowess. He looked back at Mamoru "But that would be no fun considering the thief doesn't have any good weapons on him. He said to him. He placed his hand onto the hilt of his sword. "And what do you need my help for" he asked him "I've been standing beside the thief the entire conversation and he hasn't had the guts to try and take me hostage" he added. "You could easily take them on your own" he said to him. He waited to see if he'd insist. If he did he wouldn't have any choice but to help.

Once Saen got clear of the guards, he put his hand to his head. His eye glowed a little. Saen looked around, sensing everything with a pulse. Soon, he discovered Sothe's electrical signal. "There he is. s**t, we gotta hurry, he's under attack."

Nykarian

"You lead the way," Nykarian said. "You know where they are." The guards that saw them just ignored them, not wanting to get in their way. "Let's just hope we get there before it's too late."

dO yoU wanT to PLaY?

As she swung her axe frightfully close to the boys persons, she almost expected the satisfying sound of the blade shearing through flesh. But to her surprise and delight, the two easily avoided the strike and the head slid harmlessly through air. The princes felt confident enough to boast, but Elisabeth only sneered.

"Tch. Be nice boys," Elisabeth cooed at the princes' jeers. "You just might hurt my feelings~"

It was true enough, Elisabeth was not very fast. The axe slowed her movements, even though it was not very heavy to her. Despite her lythe appearance however, the girl was as strong as a tank. It would take many a blow to bring her down.

As she was regaining her footing and preparing for the next strike, a rush of air alerted her to one of the prince's presence. Her eyes widened when she saw him in front of her in striking distance. There was no time to dodge, but she raised her axe to block. The broadsword connected with the axe sending up a loud metallic clang. The blow knocked her backwards, but she held fast to her axe and regained her ground and pushed him back.

"That was close," she said raising an eyebrow. "Maybe its time to step it up a bit...."

Gabriel gave a quick laugh "Thatd be a costly mistake for you are you sure you want to do that" Gabriel said as he readied his lance for a quick strike if nesicarry. Gabriel quickly looked in the chambers of his revolver and he had four shots left to kill atleast two people and easily enough to kill one. Gabriel aimed his revolver and made sure the sight was straight on zeek waiting for him to make his move.

Saen reached the escaping group being attacked by some people. Saen held his hand out and sent out small bolts at the attackers, stunning them. "Hey, come on let's go. That spell's not gonna last long."

Nykarian

"Luna!" Nykarian couldn't help yelling, he hadn't seen her in so long. When Saen stunned the others, he ran to Luna, drawing her into a one armed hug. "Thank you," he said to Sothe, knowing it was thanks to him that Luna was free.
