RandomMelonGuy Peppermint woke up and barked at the door. Eric heard the barking from upstairs. "father do you have a leash or rope of some sort. I guess I forgot to mention the dog." " I know of the dog. I'll fetch the leash of your mothers old dog. There's a post just outside the home." leopold went in a closet and grabbed a sturdy looking leash. He handed it to Eric. "thank you dad." Eric stood up and leashed peppermint to the post just outside the house. "we can play later peppermint." he crouched down and petted him.

" wow you've suddenly become a bundle of energy haven't you? Yes we still have the target." "great thanks father. I need to work up my strength again. I'm rusty." " Good to see you back son!" leopold said heartily. "glad to be back." Eric smiled at his father. Why was I brooding? My life is paradise. I got friends, a loving family, my studies. I was worked up over nothing. he thought.

Peppermint sniffed about and lied down. He took a small nap and lied in the sun.

Eric and leopold had set up dummies in the backyard.
"do you want to duo train or solo?" leopold asked.
"lets duo. I almost forgot your fighting style." Eric chuckled as leopold grabbed the family staff. "Here's the situation. You have twelve targets to take down and one hostage to save. The two nearest the hostage will execute her if you take to long."
"don't slow me down man. I'm pumped. Let's do this!" Eric did some light stretches and summoned his keyblade.
"ooh. Using your fancy schmancy keyblade boy? Even a weapon blessed by light sometimes can't beat old fashioned muscle."
"it's what I'm most used to. Unless we have some heavier training swords." Eric started the dummies programming.
"start whenever you wish" Eric said.
"Hey that's my line." leopold chuckled.

Johny exited the corridor of darkness and stepped into the center of town "this looks familiar...i think" he said to himself trying to sound optimistic

Eric had started the training program. "let's move!" he shouted excitedly. He charged a dummy and bashed its face with the bauble of his keyblade.
"I won't be outdone by my own son!" he said. He swung his bostaff and bashed a dummies face in. He used the momentum to launch himself into another dummy which he knocked down with his elbow. He delivered a swift punch to its face, finishing it. His staff was still in his other hand.
"tch show off." Eric blocked a dummy's attack and kicked it into a group. He ran in and delivered a series of swift blows from enemy to enemy. " that's 2, 3, 5 I brought down. 4 more left." Eric laughed as he destroyed his fifth target.

"Two more each. Make it a show." leopold charged and tripped a dummy. He twirled his staff around and bashed the side of its head. He jumped over the next target and planted his staff in the ground. He used his momentum to keep himself stable as he grabbed the dummy with his feet. He twisted and brought the staff down hard along the target's height. "Beat that youngling!"
"I'm surprised you can still move like that. Age hasn't affected you at all." Eric laughed. " check this then" Eric ran and kicked the next dummy in the stomach. After that he threw his lost binds into the target next to the hostage. He summoned heavy trumps and thrust downward into the targets chest. It jerked out of the dummy as Eric pulled. "how's that?" Eric said looking towards his father.
"Just as brutal as always. It's still nice to see your style." leopold replied.
"you did great to. I probably won't be able to do half the stuff you do at your age."
"You saying I'm old? I see that school taught you sass." leopold playfully punched Eric's arm.

Johny walked around the town, in the light the pupils of his eyes shrunk and made it seem as though he was blind. he wandered from the town square and kept his hand on his key "so...something familiar" he said to himself

Eric and leopold were brething hard after the traionig session. "The only disadvantage to flashy moves is it takes more energy." " It's a hell of a lot more fun though." "agreed. wanna grab some drinks?" " I believe there's some water in the fridge." "It was fun training with you dad." eric bro-fisted his father. " likewise. lets head in. the dummies repair themselves." leopold said as they walked into the house. Patricia hadarrived at the front door and waited for the rest of the people she met to catch up.

a few people had gathered around him whispering things to each other. a few guards showed up with their swords drawn, they kept a distance. Johny looked around "i wonder whats going on"

the guards approached him. he took out his key and channeled darkness into it, the key took the form of a great sword. he thrust it into the ground but held onto it "Can i help you?" he said to the guards

RandomMelonGuy Namine and her parents walked to Eric's parent's house. Patricia knocked on the door. " this day turned to interesting" she said quietly. Leopold stood up. " Wer ist das?" he asked. " Es ist Patricia dumkopf!" she replied. Leopold opened the door. " Hello Patricia." he said kissing her. " Please dear. Not in front of our guests." "who's there?" Eric asked. He looked up and saw namine. "oh hey namine. What's up?" he stood up and walked towards everyone.
