As the night wore on, Verde became better at keeping the tray still so nothing would spill out of the glasses. He walked around the room between guests, stopping whenever one asked for a glass.

Scarlet kept an eye on him. She smiled. He was doing very well for a first timer.

Looking at the clock, Verde was relieved to see that the party was almost over. Suddenly, one of the guests bumped against him, causing him to stumble, spilling the wine and the glasses onto the floor.

Scarlet was told about it. She walked up to see the big red stain on her floor. She clenched her fists and jaw.

Verde looked at the stain. He didn't see what the big deal was. It wasn't like he soaked a person with it or something along those lines.

A boy in the same outfit showed the girl with the wine to the bathrom. Scarlet got very angry. "Clean it up." she said firmly. She wasn't going to punish him now.

Scowling, Verde took a towel from the kitchen and began to dry off the floor as best he could.

Scarlet walked away and everyone turned their attention away from him.

After about five minutes of scrubbing with the towel, the wine was dried up from the floor. He stood up and took the towel back to the kitchen. He squeezed it dry over the sink, then hung it up where he had found it.

A few hours had past and everyone was leaving. Scarlet sighed and sat on the couch.

Verde sighed, he had been made to clean the dishes and glasses. Even though he could see a dishwasher in the corner, he was forced to clean them manually in the sink.

Scarlet was tired. She went up to her room and laid in bed.

Hours later, Verde dragged his sore body back to his room. He plopped down onto the bed and was soon asleep.

Scarlet sighed and soon fell asleep.

The sun soon rose in the sky. Being woke up rather forcibly by another slave, Verde was forced into the main hall of the manor to receive his duties for the day.
