(Yea, no way I'm hitting your defense with that roll, good job.)
His blade parried, the kakita had it sheathed and out again in another flash, aiming low in an attempt to get through.

Seichiro would parry , and would then strike back at the Kakita, attempting to hit his torso.

He grunts and attempts to slip to the man's side to hopefully hit an exposed flank.

He barely gets his guard up in time, deflecting the blade. Again it sheathes and the Crane moves as if to continue his attempts to move left to flank, when he jumps right, sword flashing again. He hoped that he would throw the Lion's defense off.
Dice in later post. Spending VP to ignore wound penalties.

He would do a low slash to his side with one hand, trying to remove the blood from his katana, and would sheathe the blade. He bowed down to the defeated Crane. "Thank you for showing me your skill. If you'd like, we can have a rematch at a later time."

@ Martial Duels:
And with that, the semi-final round would be over. Only two warriors would be left: The heavily fortified Kaiu Kagae, and the dedicated warrior Matsu Seichiro!
With neither samurai injured in his last match, it would be set to take place immediately! Kakita Zanzen would be assisted off of the fighting area to receive medical treatment, and the two warriors may engage one another when they are ready!

Seichiro would not budge from where he stood, and decided to tighten his armor's straps and his ponytail, as well as adjusting his eyepatch, as he awaited for his last opponent. He was hoping that the Kami were looking down on him for luck in his next bout.

"Well, now I simply feel mortified."
Denbe didn't feel capable of a great deal more than what he was doing at the moment- sitting up and watching the remaining martial duels play out. He did not look terribly pleased with the turn of events, however. Both of the foes he'd been defeated by had lost; including the Crane whom had ended the fight before it had even begun.
Could one really blame Denbe for holding the man to the expectation of becoming victor of the dueling contest after that? Would have made his defeat a bit less embarrassing.
Watching was very informative, however.
It reminded Denbe just how much distance there could be between himself and those whom dedicated themselves to one single task. The bushi with undivided attention were nothing short of incredible.
He'd just have to try that much harder.
But for now the Hare watched the most recent two defeated champions carried over to his vicinity to view the final fight, as soon as the victors were ready.

@ The Scorpion Tent
"Whu?" Kojiro awakened with a start. He turned his head and found himself on the cot near his things. His sword stand had his Daisho on it and his armor was properly arranged next to the sword stand. The scorpion bushi traced the bandages that were wound around where the Lion had pierced him.
Kojiro spared a glance around the room to see if either of the other occupants of the tent were in. If not, he'll carefully rummage around his sack for his copy of "Lies" and read it.
