Cielene practically umped to her feet. The brush clattered to the floor. "I'm-I'm sorry... I didn't mean to disturb you with my singing..." She bowed her head, making her long hair flow in front of her. She brushed it aside allowing her sapphire blue eyes to be seen in the flickering candle light. She looked at him, however he didn't seem to be mad. He actaully looked... hm. She couldn't put her finger on it.

Duo stared at Zelda. "Unfortunately, I am not taking you anywhere.. unless it is to Zant." He simply rossed his arms and walked away from her. He didn't even care to tie her up again. "However.. you are wrong. I can master these emotions... I was trained to feel nothing... To kil my own family... innocent children... Have my hands covered in their blood. No.. I am not human.. I much more of a monster." He stopped at a window. With a flick of his wrist, it opened revealing a barren land. It looked as if the whole placed had burned. "Can a human destroy his own home? Killing every living thing? Leaving no survivors? Tell me. If I were to rip you apart slowly, but keep you alive just so you could feel pain... Would you still think me human and not a monster?" His eyes glowered at her. They were a mixture of pain and fury.

Jesse sighed and put his hand to his forehead. "That was the one whole stole my weapons... He was average height.. and seemed to be able to hide in the shadows... I know what he looks like... but... I don't have a clue of how to find him..."

Duo turned swiftly and appeared inches from her face. "I will not get cross-examined by you! Why would you care?! I came to bring you to your death. Yet you treat me like a friend. I do not understand you!" He disappeared then slowly emerged from the shadows once more with his arms crossed. He stood back to back with her. "Why did I hesitate.. That is a good question. He spun her around so that she was facing him. "There is something about you that makes me sick... But then again.. I want to explore this feling. I had felt it once before. But..." He trailed off then he gripped his forehead in pain. "AGRRAH! Damned memories!" He fell to the flor gasping, his eyes glowing red. "Stay AWAY! The floor around him melted his particles of shadow turned his skin black. His head then fell forward. It then raised slowly to reveal the black eyes once more. "I forget myself. I am Duo, Master of Shadows. Such emotions... are useless." His voice was different and there was a new look in his eyes. Lust. Lust of blood.

Duo laughed. "Is that what you want, Princess? To just give up on your kingdom and kill yourself? I just see you as a pittiless excuse. I would kill you myself to put an end to this blasted hear of mine. But alas... i am getting paid to bring you to my master. Indeed though... I could always try to cut out my heart to get rid of the emotions.. I got half last time.... Perhaps If I have the strength to remove the whole thing, I shall become a true master of Shadow and Darkness." However, Duo stopped again. It seemed as if he were fighting inside his brain. Suddenly Duo melted away. He then rolled out of the shadow again. Though this time, he looked... normal. Duo glanced at Zelda. his face was sweaty. He gritted his teeth when he spoke to her. "If I cut you, I am sorry. you must uderstand... I am not who you think I am. There are many sides of me. I just hope you do not meet the one you just saw ever again. He blinked at her with his chocolate brown eyes. "I controll the shadows... Indeed I do. but sometimes.. The evil with in it can comsume a person. However, I soon fight it off." he turned away. "Please do not kill yourself. I am enjoying your company. Besides... There has been enough blood spilled on this floor."

Duo stared at Zelda. he didn't want to let her go. Not for Zant's sake though. He cursed himself for getting involved. However, he had another plan up his sleeve. He was a master of Shadows, not just some idiot working for Ganon. "I shall propose a deal. There is no way you can leave this place unless you have my help. Therefore I have you at my mercy. I shall set you free on one condition." He stepped inches away from her. "I want to know what it is like..." He traced her lips with his fingers then down her neck. His hand rested above her soft flesh on her chest. His other continued to snake around her back then rest barely above the smooth curve of her bottom. "...to take interest in me..." His eyes locked onto hers freezing her into place. He could fell her short breath and hear her heart punding wildly. If he had a full heart, he was sure his would be doing the same. He felt part of his mind screaming no, but he shoved it away. He closed his eyes and brought her closer. "If it is a deal... then give me your yourself..." Kiss me. That is what I want. A long sweet kiss... to know what affection feels like.

Duo felt something odd going through his body. It was if this woman were pushing the shadow away and purifying his sins. The kiss broke and he felt himself tumbling to a crash. However, he wouldn't allow it. He pulled her back into another long deep kss. He could feel the tender pressure of her lips against his cold ones. His hand ran his fingers through her hair slowly and then held her gently. God did he want more. This was worse than any drug.

Duo opened his eyes. He felt the warmness leave him, but the longing for more stayed. His cool body resumed its normal temperature. He looked to Zelda who looked to be out of breath. "Interesting that you feel that way." He grinned and resisted the urge to take her right there. He was a gentleman to an extend. He bowed then offered his hand. "I believe we had a deal, Sweetling."

Duo pulled her towards him, and wrapped his arms aroud her again. He pressed her small frame against his body. with one hand, he brushed a piece of hair out of her face. "Such a pity I shall have to let you go. This could have been fun." He kissed her as he pulled her into into the shadows and back to Hyrule. He stood on cliff sideways, defying gravity. If he were not holding the girl, she would go plummeting to her death. A chain skaed its way around them so she was bound to Duo. "I have done as you asked, taken you back to Hyrule. Unfortunately, If I let go, you would die. So I cannot do that." He grinned as he saw the look of betrayal appear in her eyes. "Let me take you somewhere else." He vanished into the shadows once more and appeared in Zant's palace, all the way down in the cellar. The chain recoiled around Duo, setting the girl free. He crossed his arms amused. "You are too trusting my sweet. I'm the bad guy, remember?"
