_______________________________________________________ [Shadow glanced back at Birdsong and stopped in his tracks. He noticed the dead tree on the cold forest grounds. Shadow was about to just head over to camp where it's much safer, but instead let out a deep sigh and padded over to the tree. He gently set Birdsong on the ground, near the roots of the tree. The wind has died down but still felt the strong breeze against his muzzle.] "Wait here.." [Shadow rushed off and looked around for any dogs. He still heard howling but it was in the distance. Shadow ignored the howling and found a plump rabbit on a tree stump. He instantly went into a stalking position. The rabbit was clueless, not knowing Shadow's presence. Carefully, Shadow got closer to the rabbit stealthily. He then jumped and used his right paw to pin the rabbit down. With his other paw, he swipped down at the rabbit with his claws, killing it instantly. Shadow picked up the rabbit and headed over to Birdsong. She didn't look too good, she looked as if she was having a fever. Shadow dropped the rabbit on her paws, looking down at her.] "You should eat, it's going to regain your energy." he said. [He gave a small grin and sat down next to her. He looked around, trying to make sure no dogs come.]

Birdsong
[Birdsong lay down and nodded as he told her to wait. SHe felt protected here, with Shadow, which was weird for her. Birdsong looked up as he dropped the rabbit at her paws, and glanced at him]
"Thanks," she mewed quietly.
[Birdsong dug into it, famished. When she had finished, she pushed it over to Shadow, for she had left him some. Birdsong curled up closer to him and placed her head on her paws]

_______________________________________________________ [Shadow smiled as he received the remains of the rabbit. Its flesh was gone in a second, due to Shadow's hunger. He then took the bones of the rabbit and buried it. Shadow placed his his thick tail over Birdsong, trying his best to keep her warm. Rays from the sun got stronger, causing the wind to settle. However, Shadow kept his tail around Birdsong, knowing that she needs all the warmth she can get a hold of. He then smiled but kept his serious gaze. He was looking into the distance but focused mainly on Birdsong.] "I have a question..." he said. "Why were you so upset lately? I'm just wondering." Shadow asked, curious.

Birdsong
[Birdsong smiled ruefully. She had known this question was coming. Birdsong looked at Shadow, gazing at him, her eyes narrowed. The barrier between her and the rest of the cats was there. The barrier that cut her off from them was still there, but it was thinner between her and Shadow, and she had a feeling it might break soon. But if he hurt her, or her family.. Dear StarClan, he better watch out]
"Can I trust you, Shadow. Can I trust you to remain silent about my reasons?"
[As she spoke, Birdsong knew she could trust him, but she wanted Shadow to let her know that she could]

_______________________________________________________ [Shadow looked down at Birdsong and smiled.] "Of course, your pretty much a friend.." Shadow admitted, surprised that he would admit something like that. [He just ignored his surprise and was just happy that Birdsong was feeling better.]

((Sorry, had to edit this. Snowcherry don't want no competition. ><))
[Birdsong sat up, and looked at him, her eyes sad. She sat awkwardly, her shoulder killing her]
"I can't tell you, Shadow. I'm sorry, but I don't think Snowcherry would be too happy if we spent anymore time together. I have to get back to camp.."
[Birdsong stood up. Sure, she didn't love him, but she did have feelings for him, but there was no way she was having a repeat of the Galestar thing]
"I'm sorry, Shadow. I can't go through this again"
[Already her eyes were empty again, the wall back up, ready to block out anyone]

An idea just popped into my mind...could I rp one dog (temporary), chasing after Birdsong and Shadow? XD))

_______________________________________________________ [Shadow looked down at Birdsong and his eyes clouded with disappointment. He saw Birdsong as a good friend but seemed that she doesn't see him as a friend at all. She was right, he couldn't let Snowcherry worry about such thing. Also he wondered what she meant by 'I can't go through this again..' Shadow let out a sigh and rose on all four paws, heading to camp.] "Alright, do whatever your heart follows." Shadow said. [The same quote his parents told him before they were brutally killed by a badger. Shadow's ears twitched by the disappointing scene, wanting to just forget about these memories with magic. But instead he shook his head and looked back at Birdsong.] "However i'm going to make sure you're doing well with your injuries, they seem pretty bad..." Shadow said, going back to camp.
((To BreezeClan! iZann I think that is a good idea biggrin If you ask the guild leader and she says yes then I can make Shadow in the forest outskirts again if you want ^_^ ))

[Birdsong began limping forward, her right paw held up. Her green eyes were hollow, but she turned and licked Shadow's check before limping back to camp, ignoring his words]

Her facial expression looked upset but he smiled, hoping that they will still remain friends. Shadow smiled and ran up to Birdsong, giving her a big smile.] "I'm still your friend, you know that." he said. [Shadow noticed Birdsong's wounded paw and felt upset. He was going to decide to playfully carry her to camp but noticed her upset expression. Instead he let her be but waited for her when she was falling behind. They then reached camp, noticing Galestar's meeting.]

of the bushes as the cats left after ending their conversation.
She didn't want to go back to camp and snuck behind the
bushes quietly.] Interesting...I didn't here most of it....oh
well..it's none of my business. [Snowcherry then thought about
Shadow and Hauntednihgt in pain.] I have to get back to
camp! [Snowcherry pelted back to camp, ignoring the blood

 S m o k e k i t"If I have nothing to live for . . ."_______________________________________Smoke began walking away from all the twolegs a few days ago. He hadn't been able to hunt anything, and he was too weak to hurry. He didn't look up, and he didn't scent anything. He had decided it was useless to anyways "who knows, maybe this is the best way to go".
