Hopian: Chaos is the only Energy none of us refuse to deal with. We will accept the shadow's terms, should they surrender. We have a policy of always slaying those who try and bring chaos into our worlds. Our magic relies on order: The primal order of the twelve elements. Chaos disrupts that, allowing only energy-mages, such as our mutual friend Kero, to function.
*The lightning bolt speeds up, rocketing austin towards a gargantuan iron gate, where he can just make out the milling oni and other demons that populate the city*
Hopian: Should have known. They panic when they see us coming. Can't say I blame them, though.

Austin leaps from the lighting bolt Twirling down upon the oni and trolls sword flourishing. A large lieutenant charges him Austin jumps and sticks a hand grenade in his mouth using the explosion a tail wind he soars through a long battalion like a charging bull, splitting the battalion in half.
They are vulnerable when separated! surprised Hopian! Fire a spell at the ground beneath them! It will cause a earthquake then I can pick them off one by one! biggrin surprised pirate

(hmmm... maybe i should have written a little more last night, but things were so tense and upsetting that i felt it best to wait and see what and where people wanted to go with this.... originally the gate to this city was going to be a oneway portal into Sigil, which is one of those odd planar locations that touches all planes but belongs to none... once there i thought we'd look for a doorway to austin's island.... only i don't believe the Lady of Pain would put up with us running havoc over her inhabitants... this city is rather non-violent - barring thugs and other ne'er do wells of which there are many i'm afraid - and she does get involved with anything threatening the stability of her realm... need input people... i'm at a loss here... still... you could always simply look for me... i am trapped in a statue in the tavern "the Burning Man")

Austin bolts throught the oni and beast to the tavern he breaks down the door he Points his gun) EVERYBODY DOWN OR ILL BLOW THIS DIRT SACK!

Now have you seen a Kitsune about yay tall and in a black robe?(looks around no one answers) Okay let me say that again(cocks his pistol) IF YE DON'T SPIT OUT THE LOCATION OF A STATUE OF A LADY IN THIS TAVERN NOW ILL BLOW THIS CITY TO A CRISP(pulls out a really large hand grenade) evil

the room is filled with frantic voices... no one seems to know what you are saying... finally a small tiefling creeps forward and tugs on your sleeve....
s.s.s.sir... we don't know how... you need to take it to the temple... the priests... maybe the priests can help you.... take it... sirra... please take it....
everyone around the room nods in agreement... in fact the balfor picks up the statue and throws it at you, hoping you will leave....
i don't believe they think the statue is anything but a statue... at least you have it now what are you going to do with it?
