Shins glare followed enzai all the way out the door, a frown on his face as he turned his attention back to alex and anthony, yeah absolutely loved this guy right now. "So what your saying lex, is that you knew you were killing yourself? Nice.." shaking his head as he just dropped it right there, he refused to agree with enzai on anything hed said, it just it made him angry to think that hed be right..
"Lex your way to stubborn for your own good you know that" just a small smile crossing his face as he heard lex groan, the guy seeming to try and get away from it all "We should let him sleep doc...heh besides when has forbidding him from something ever stopped him?" no matter what alex did, he was still alex..there would never be a way to change his nature so theyd just have to protect him any way they could, there was never going to be any forcing anything on the guy though, it just didnt work that way.

"Shut up," Alex said shakily, rolling over onto his side and curling up. "I'm fine. . .I can manage." Could he really manage? Maybe he should let people help this time. . .but no, he couldn't. He just couldn't help it; it was part of his nature and the way he'd grown up: independently. "s**t. . .I hate this, I really do. Just want everything to end."

"Ouch, when you say it to enzai its one thing, but me to lex?" shin joked walking over to stand behind alex..liar..thats all he could think, lex was lying but, he was lying to himself now not everyone else, hed let him though, what point was there in convincing him he was wrong? Everyone else seemed to see it but him. "Yeah seems like something someone would hate, eh..just go back to sleep then if you want it to end so badly, no dying on us kay lex?" he sighed "You still remind me of a cactus..a cactus with teeth..twice as deadly" shin smiled sitting down on the little bed right behind alex "Know I cant do crap about this, but I might as well do something.." it was better then just sitting their waiting and doing nothing.
Running his hands over alexs back and just letting the blue glow run through him, it wasnt much but it was something right? "Hmm I should mess with your hair to, just cause I know you cant stop me" he laughed a little, figuring buttons had gone commando and hidden under the bed again.

Alex flinched under Shin's touch at first, then he relaxed when he felt the warm glow. It was so nice, it really was. What was he doing, anyway? Was he trying to push everyone away? There was no way he wanted to lose everyone, especially Yuri. Dammit, why couldn't he just change?! He wanted to, he really did. But. . .he couldn't. Too much had happened. Losing his friends may be inevitable. . . "Wonder when everything'll just stop?" he said, laughing softly a little. "Can't really wait anymore." He whispered some inaudible words and then he closed his eyes and drifted back to sleep.
"Interesting. It all makes sense now," Anthony said, stuffing his hands into his pocket. "The reason he's getting worse each day has absolutely nothing to do with his physical health. He's just proved that to us." The doctor sighed and shrugged; honestly, what could he do if the patient didn't want to be saved? Nothing, that's what: absolutely nothing. "Tohru's gonna eat us alive. . .don't really see why he took him in in the first place if they aren't even related," he muttered to himself, careful to Shin wouldn't hear.

"Makes sense? This is lex were talking about ya know, nothing with him makes sense. Hey dont talk like that kay? He wants to live alright even if he says he doesnt I know he does" shin chuckled shaking his head a little "If he wanted to die then..well then the b*****d should have done it before he met me, cause he damn well knows im not gonna let him, feh no one is" idiot, stubborn assed idiot, then again im just as stubborn as he is but still...
Lex is a bigger idiot, thinking that were just gonna let this happen, guy gave up rights to choosing wether he lived or died the moment he met all of us, and married yuri..all that stuff, he doesnt get to decide.
Yeah so its a little cruel, taking away a persons, right to chose wether he lives or dies, but..if that certain person is gonna impact so many peoples lives, well then he doesnt get to quit without asking those people first...

"Unless you can prove me wrong, I'm sticking with what may happen based on the current situation," Anthony said firmly, shutting his eyes while he spoke. "I'm a doctor not a miracle working. I can only do so much before everything is up to the patient. If he's willing to live, he should be able to live at least a few more years, considering the state of that parasite. And if he doesn't? Well then, your best start preparing for a funeral." He was not a cold person. Far from it, actually. He just felt the need to tell the truth rather than lie just to make things feel better.

Shin just smiled "Oh ill prove you wrong, heh, you see I am not a doctor, im a miracle worker, and if I say hes gonna live he will, no questions" shin shrugged "I dont care about the state of the parasite because soon enough itll be gone and there wont be a problem any more" he promised didnt he? Yeah he did, and he planned on keeping that promise to lex, even if he broke every other one he ever made, hed keep this one, there would be no funeral planning, no more 'few more years' crap, no he just didnt buy into it.
"Im sure you think im being over optimistic, but..thats me I cant help it if I am" nodding as he smiled, no anthony would see, lex wasnt a quitter, not after so many close calls.

Anthony gave Shin a questioning look before he just shrugged, the faintest hint of a smile on his face as he simply turned away and left the room after a final glance at Alex. As he walked down the hall towards his next patient, he chuckled. "That guy is really lucky to have friends like that. He'd better not die."

Yukiko stirred a little and woke up half way, still kind of asleep, like a sleep-walker. She turned on her side, away from the door and curled up a little. It all hurt. Moving, her right arm, her stomach, chest, and it felt like she could hardly breathe. She shivered a little bit. It was cold. She crossed her arms. She was cold, but her arms felt a little hot. She fell asleep again with her arms crossed, on her side facing away from the door, and curled up a little.

Shin watched anthony leave briefly, sighing a little bit as he let the glow fade away..Hed be back soon, chuckling as he messed with alexs hair before getting up and leaving, heading back to his yukis room.
Walking in as quietly as he could to find she had moved a little while sleeping, sorta curled up on her side facing away from the door, smiling as he walked in and closed the door behind him, crawling onto the bed with her and just wrapping his arms around her "Kitty cat...hey your burning up" he sighed a little bit kissing the back of her head and putting one hand over her forehead, letting it become icy cold. "Sorry your sick" hed go get a nurse or something soon, but for right now hed just stay wrapped up with her.

Yukiko coughed up a little bit of blood and shivered again. "It hurts," she whispered softly in her sleep, curling up a little bit more, wincing a little. Her chest hurt more than anything right now, but while she was asleep, she couldn't feel it too much.

((Sorry im back!)
"My Yuki..im sorry.." holding her a little tighter as she coughed, not this again, he hated this, hated it when she got sick..it was a permanent thing though, nothing he could do to ever stop it. Running his hand through her hair after he wiped away the blood. He wanted to go get a nurse but he didnt want to leave her right now, just hold her while she slept there.

Yukiko had one hand on the bed. It looed like she was about to rip it to shreds the way her hand kept digging into it then releasing it and scratching at it , then doing it again. It felt like something was crushing her lungs since it was when she coughed again. More blood came out, and it hurt.

"Yuki..." shin shuddered a little bit as he heard her cough, frowning deeply and pulling away from her a little bit, okay enough procrastinating, he couldnt heal her and he needed someone who could help "Know we both hate nurses but..gotta grab one" giving her a very worried look as he walked out into the hall to fetch one of the female nurses..Any more blood and well, well he didnt like seeing people cough up blood period, had to fix that.
