shia snorts angrily... a hybrid should have been something special, not a thing of shame... ye were living prove of their care for one another... everyone knew they were a pair right... therefore having a hybrid should have been expected... no matter how rare it is... i mean look at keva... he's a fox... but his color is off... and me... i sing... like me dad.... even in fox form i kin howl with the best of them... he thinks it so funny... he claims that it shows we're both a part of him no matter what else we look like....

what in the lady's name were they thinking... i bet ye any money if they hadn't been so ashamed of ye... no one else would have either... stupid adults always worried about appearances... dumb dumb dumb....

doesn't matter... if they were so damn concerned they wouldn't have paired... i mean think of it, kero... no matter that emnast and stella were hybrids too... they were carrying the genes of the other dragon deep inside... i breed plants, kero... and no matter how pure a hybrid looks they do carry hidden genes... and dragons are not stupid... stubborn yeah... and single minded... i can see them turning their noses of at all of ye, including yer parents... seriously... so why did they even try to hide ye... they were already rubbing their relationship in everyone's noses just by being together... heck just having kids should have kicked them so far out of the main swing of things it shouldn't have mattered...

shia sighs heavily and takes a long drink... i don't know uncle kero... they may have loved ye, but i still say they were plain dumb... i've heard of some of the things they did to ye... and they were just plain mean... tying ye up, not letting ye play... i hate to say this uncle, but they created the problem... and ye had to live it... i'm serious... like i said dragons are not stupid... they knew what yer brother and sister were and they accepted them... in a fashion... maybe not as equals but they accepted them... ye would have been no different... but by acting ashamed of ye... even if they were only trying to protect ye only made the others look at ye as if there was something seriously wrong with ye...

i wonder why he did it... says shia softly shaking her head... i mean she was his baby sister... and ye were his brother... maybe it all stems back to the whole darn mess to begin with... iffin yer parents were ashamed of him and he thought he wasn't worth anything no matter how acceptable he looked... shia sighs and shakes her head again... i'm sorry uncle kerobian... i shouldn't try to analyze him... it happen so long ago... didn't it....

shia nods thoughtfully, he is ye know... he's trapped... then she shuts up and looks guiltily at her drink, thinking hard.... finally she lifts her head and looks kerobian in the eye... i won't lie to ye, uncle and iffin ye want to ask me what i know i will tell ye... but i... i would rather ye didn't ask... please... it... it will mess things up iffin ye know... and i... i don't want the future to take the wrong turn.....

she nods sadly... i wish i could help ye both... but when the time comes i will only be able to help one... sorry, uncle kero... that's all i can say... then she brightens and grins mischievously ... we better hit the sack, huh... tomorrow's gonna come mighty early iffin we don't.....

she gives him a funny look and smiles... i just might do that... she says in a teasing voice and kisses ye on the cheek.... g'night uncle kero... don't stay up too late... i've got enough funny pics to post on the internet already... don't need any more....
