Kayden helped himself to one of the plates. "I'm going to go tell the kids." Kayden muttered and set his plate on the table before going off to tell the children.

"Hi mommy!" The little girl ran into the kitchen and hugged her mom's leg. The older boy joined Envy at the table just after Kayden sat back down.
"What are we eating?" The little boy asked.

Envy smiled at the boy, "Eggs and berries, unless there's something I'm not aware about." she joked, picking up a berry and popped it into her mouth.

Kayden stuffed a hand full of egg in his mouth and gestured for the kid to eat as well. Cara was too busy being clingy to sit down and eat. "Cara, come here and eat." Kayden muttered.

"No! MINE!" Cara took her breakfast off the table and stormed off to her room with it. She was only four; she didn't know that Envy was only teasing. Kayden sighed at Cara's reaction as he continued to wolf down the breakfast.

"She's just tired. She won't listen to you anyway." Kayden muttered between mouthfuls. When he was done, he put his plate in a basin of water. "We should go see how Pride and Soul are doing now anyway."

Kayden stepped down from their door to the ground. "Huh, where do you think they decided to stay?" He asked as he threw his arms into the arm to stretch.

Envy put her palm to her forehead, "I think I found them.." she muttered.

"And it was going so well." Kayden muttered as he walked over to the voices. "Pride? You alright?" He asked, keeping his distance away.

Pride turned to the voice, "No! Soul cheated! See?" he said.
Envy walked in, not caring if they wanted privacy. She immediately put a hand to her forehead. "You idiots.." she muttered, then burst out laughing. They were playing tic-tac-toe, what were the odds?
