yep says shia with a nod, putting down her journal... he also made him sit in a corner and all sorts of stuff when he was bad... how do ye think he got to be so wise? he's learned a lot... the hard way.... she giggles and gives him a hug... like someone else i know, huh?

well... he was a whole lot younger than he is now... so i guess ye can say he was a lot like us... learning things, and trying things out... a lot of things... and some of the stuff he tried got him in a whole lot of trouble... and he had a temper like you wouldn't believe.... like a hair-triggered volcano.... didn't help much from what i've been told.... he's a whole lot more fun to be around these days....

it was a long time ago... a realy long time... uncle kero is quite old... almost as old as me ma... but not quite... i bet ye didn't know i'm kind of old too... far older than ye.... kitsunes age slowly.... we're spirits.... so we don't grow up the same way people with real bodies do....

ahhh... but are ye absolutely certain that is what they needed... kero... what they need is a big brother who can give them an example they can be happy to follow... like ye did the other day.... they may not have acted the way we wanted them to do, but you did and that is something they will remember... ye may not think so, but they will.... ye know we had fun together... you and i... with them until they got bored... and had we worked together we might have be able to distract them... i mean ye know them better than i do... right... so next time we work together... right?
