Blade hit his sword on Dark Vaati's. "So you're back, we didn't get to finish the last battle." He said.

Vaati took a deep breath as Dark Vaati's sword nicked him. He was already feeling a little week. "Thanks, stranger." He murmured to Blade and wrapped out with Opal.

"Are you ok Master Vaati?" Opal said worried. It didn't help that she was a little heavy for him. But he also got hurt as her ears folded.

"We did finish it. I stabbed you, and you past out. I won you lost." Dark Vaati murmured, hardly noticing that Vaati was already gone with Opal.
Vaati was on his knees panting. The poison was so little yet it as already taking effect, just at a slower pace. "The poison works surprising well..." He muttered. "D-don't worry, it isn't fatal..."

Opal rushed over to him. "But it still hurts! Oh I'm so sorry this is my fault." she said as she felt tears in her eyes.

"It's not as bad as you might think; it doesn't hurt, the cut just stings. As for the poison, it just makes the victim weak. It doesn't hurt..." Vaati explained in truth. He was just dizzy and tired. "Don't cry, Opal."

Helios appeared outside the hut Lisaya and Arious had made. Lisaya was still shivering and crying in his arms. Maybe I should let her get over Shadow before I ask... Helios sighed and whispered to her, "Don't worry... I am sure he is better off... Besides.. we are back here safe... Why don't we warm you up by the fire?" Helios kissed her forehead and walked toward the entrance of the hut.
Lisaya didn't hear Helios, but she did feel his soft kiss. It was warm and full of love, but she didn't know if she wanted it. She almost felt like she was betraying Shadow if she even thought about returning the kiss. She just didn't want to be let go. Not now. "Helios..... thank you..." She whispered.
Arious looked up as he saw Helios return into the shelter. He saw Lisaya crying and red faced. He did not, however see Shadow. What happened?! He thought to Helios with urgency. He shifted Silver's weight onto his leg, trying not to wake her.
Shadow is no more....I could not save him from Dark Vaati. He turned away from Arious and sat down on the other side of the fire. He was exhausted and did not feel like engaging in a conversation with Arious. He held Lisaya close to his heart while letting her feet defrost by the warm embers in the center of the room. He felt her shuddering breath on his chest. He looked down and saw that she was sleeping, but still saw that tears rolled down her cheeks. He wiped them away and kissed her forehead again, trying to comfort her silently.
Shadow looked around. He had burrowed under a couple fences and saw a field in to distance past an oddly shaped house. He ignored it and scavenged for some food.

"How can I not..." She muttered as she untied her ribbon from her hair. She took his arm gently in her arms as she wrapped it around the wound so it wouldn't bleed.
Silver eyes opened as she looked over at Lisaya crying as she quickly stood up. "Lisaya...Shadow is he..." She said as she bent down next to her. She didn't care if Helios got angry at trying her trying to comfort Lisaya too. In fact she glared up at Helios knowing he had something to do with Shadows "so called death".

"Be a strong girl." Vaati muttered and weakly got his stone out. "Do you want to talk to Silver? I think she can help." He could only hope it made her feel better. The cut was a little bigger than he though, but it still wasn't anything for him to panic over.

"I think so but you won't know if you don't ask." Vaati continued to muttered as he began to fall asleep. He noticed that the rain was gone; the sun was poking through the clouds now.

Opal looked at Vaati seeing him fall asleep. She took off her dress showing a white thin dress underneath as she folded it up and placed it under his hand. She took the stone gently out of his. "Miss Silver? Please can you come? Vaati needs help." she said to the stone. (This is what she probably would have look like, with her hair untied and in a white dress instead of a kimono)

Arious stared at Helios. Goddess no.... Shadow is dead? I cannot believe I said that earlier... that I wished for one of them to die... so they would stop fighting... I didn't really mean it though. Arious sighed. He felt horrible. He hugged Silver tight. He never wanted to lose her. "I love you." He whispered.
Helios ignored Silver's cold stares. Do not stare at me so. I did not kill him. It was DarkVaati. I have proof. I think it would be est if you did not bother her about it... She is quite upset. He threw his thoughts at Silver and instantly hugged Lisaya.
"Silver.... he's gone.... forever..." Lisaya's lip started to tremble and she burst out into tears again. She snuggled into Helios's cloak and hid her tears. She felt ashamed. "I couldn't help him.... I was powerless.. I couldn't even get m necklace back he gave me.... I am so ashamed..." she cried to her, muffled by Helios's body. she hid her face in his warm chest and cried.
"It is alright.... there was nothing you could do to save him.... I couldn't even destoy him, Lisaya. I am sure your power was weak in the Dark realm... don't blame yourself..." He tried to comfort her.
Shadow found the the vegetables to be delicious. He scratched at the roots to a rounded vegetable. It was yellow and oddly shaped, but that didn't keep him from nibbling on it
