Ah! I'm so embarrassed! >.<;;; I completely forgot to draw today, so this is a last minute sketch! I didn't take the time I used, but I'm pretty sure I used half an hour, because I drew another one first that was completely failed. :I Anyways, this is a completely raw scan, and our scanner makes everything kinda bright and the paper grey. -___-; I don't have any editing program on my computer, and I don't have time to use another computer... i took 'rebelle' to be like some kind of female rebel so i drew one of my OCs who is like that.
on random fibre paper.

Shestval Kitten-Tora Theme: Trapped Time: hour Opinions/Suggestions? And yeah, the hands and feet are fail. they are stubborn. If you're asking for critiques... wink First of all, the gradient background is surprisingly effective. I also like your hands (despite what you say!) and hair, and the drape of the clothing is good. I'm not entirely sure if the figure is male or female -- the jawline and chest look male, the hips and clothing look female -- but it doesn't seem intentionally androgynous, either. If the figure is female you may want to soften the jawline (it's quite square) and add a hint of breasts (they don't have to be large). If the figure is male then the hips will need to be more narrow. I'm also not sure what is going on. Is the figure fighting to ropes, or being puppeted? Having some taut ropes would help -- think about where you want the pulling to come from. :3 Finally, the stone floor you put in needs to be in perspective. As it is, the figure seems to just be floating in front of a stone wall that stops abruptly. Anatomy isn't bad but you're right, the foot is weird. The biggest issue is that it is simply too big. The raised arm also seems oddly wide and could do with some contours, rather than just being a tube. Your anatomy isn't as bad as you think, especially the hands! And I like the color choice and background. Good luck! biggrin
The gradient effect was something that I was secretly worried about, I am glad that it is effective. I really had no set gender in mind for the person, I need to work on that androgynous bit a bit more. I think I might be able to fix that foot and wide arm some. Any suggestion where the contours might look right for it? It's a weakness of mine
Perspective is another weak point and I'll keep it in mind to focus more on that and try harder in the future pictures. The idea for me was more so being trapped in the mind(blind and silent), and I thought maybe the cords would help but I think I'll go back and edit them out. They are just subtracting from the picture now.

21The theme is rebel. Yeah her face is crooked ;__; I don't know why, but my drawings always slant to the right when I don't use guidelines. (And it always looks fine until I rotate it.)
