Tam winks at him and tip toes upstairs to check on Kero finding... ???

Tam sinks down to the bed beside him and pulls him close. "Taro, dulcha, what hurts?" he asks holding him gently in his arms. Would you like me to fly to Shar and get a pain killer for you?"

Tam sighs. He doesn't like doing it because it usually backfires on him in some way or another, but he's worried about the lion. No shield can truly block him for long, if he's determined enough to crack it. All he'd have to do is call on the power the All Father gave him, but this time, he doesn't so much want to crack as slip through and that's a bit harder. Thinking he better not do this alone, he summons Bez up to the room, to watch over them as he dives into Kero's mind.

It doesn't take long for the familiar dark head to peek up through the trap door. "Are ye sure ye want to do this?" he asks worriedly.

"I need to know what is hurting him. I don't want to go summoning Shar, if things are bad on the hill. And I'm not a good enough healer to scan him that thoroughly. If you have any other suggestions, I'm open to receiving them."

Bez chews on his lip for a bit then nods. "Call that gem child healer here..." he says simply. "I know ye don't like to be in her debt, but she should be able to determine what's wrong."

"Safirea, we're going to have to work on yer entrances..." teases Tam gently and braving a possible rebuke, he embraces her warmly. Cold does not affect him as it would others, unless he isn't prepared for it, Bez on the other hand is openly shivering, but all he does is reach for a blanket to wrap about himself. Neither angel sees any reason to leave the room.

"Kero is warded against my scrying." says the bard sadly. "And he appears to be in a great deal of pain, something he really shouldn't be at this time. Uncomfortable yes, but not truly in pain, as yer kinsmen have burnt the illness from him. But I cannot for the life of me determine if it is serious or not and I fear to disturb Sharmistra, as this ailment may be making the rounds of the temple complex as well as here. Could you please determine what his discomfort is, please... I beg of you."

Tam frowns in confusion. "How in the heck did he break his paw? He's been asleep all day! Can ye set it for him?"

Now Tam is truly confused. He's never heard of anyone breaking their paw while sneezing before, but since Kero is settling down now and resting better, he can't argue with Safirea's diagnosis. So he merely bows in gratitude and offers to make her tea if she wishes, asking Bez if the others are still at the cottage or if they've gone home.

"That had to be a monster of a sneeze..." mutters Bez going to sit by the dark furred lion. He hesitantly rests his hand on his back and shakes his head. "I am surprised we didn't hear him... and the others were still in the garden, dulcha, when I came in to see what was taking ye so long, but they may have gone by now. Pyropian was yawning and Feleus was teasing the heck out of him about facing the music or something of the kind..."

Tam goes down to make the lioness some tea and to check in the garden, to see if the others had left yet or not.
