Aya awakens slowly, her head feeling fuzzy and disoriented. Sitting up slowly in her small room, she rubs her eyes with a pale hand and looks around for a moment before her shoulders slump and she closes her eyes again. '...It would figure...' Standing up after a minute or so of thinking, she smoothes out her dress lightly and fingers the small braid hanging near her ear thoughtfully, the colors yellow, a long white one and a blue one mingling with her white-pink hair nicely. '...I suppose I was headed for this whole thing a long time ago but....being new here still isn't enjoyable, more of a tedious job than anything...and not something I can get out of I suppose...'

Scanning her room quickly, she goes over to the small food bowl and picks at the stuff in it lightly, without interest then goes over to the bars and looks out silently, her reddish, soft looking eyes speaking volumes though she stays as silent as a shadow, only her motions showing her to be alive.

Grinning happily, Ione gave a slight nod, seeming to enjoy the sunshine to its fullest. "It's been rainy a lot lately so I'm glad that the sun is finally starting to show itself again." She didn't particularly mind the rain, since she was actually quite fond of it, but always had prefered the sunshine. "No need for food.. Don't vampires drink blood or something?" Ione knowledge on his race was limited, due to the fact she had never met one prior to that day and had only heard a few tales told by her siblings to freak her out.

A soft chuckle escaped her lips, finding the fact that he possessed healing powers rather ironic. "Hm, I don't think I've ever met anyone quite like you, Mister Zhin." She remarked though her interest viable perked at the mention of his remaining powers.

She spun quickly around to face him, subtle traces of delight evident on her expression. "Could you possibly use them on me, please?" Noticing that her request had probably sounded rather strange, Ione continued after a moment. "You see, I've been training to be a sorceress for a while now, but since no one I know possess the needed abilities, I haven't been able to practice blocking out any techniques involving my mind. I've tried to simply perfect my defenses without real offensive measures, but I highly doubt it's working very well. I need to literally experience it before I can learn to go against it.."

Zhin blinked at her inquiry about Vampires drinking blood. He hadn't really thought much about it, having truly not eaten anything in months. "Well actually...I haven't really eaten anything in a few months...All I've had was water, and that's just to try and quench my seemingly unquenchable thirst." he remarked with a slight chuckle. "But yes...I suppose my craving for something may be that..." As he spoke, he wondered what she'd think of it. Technically, he didn't have to drink blood, but for the lognest time he'd had a craving for it.

Smiling slightly, Zhin once again ran his hand through his long silver hair. "I guess it's a bit odd, isn't it? I don't complain, though. I heal almost instantly from cuts or bruises, and I'd find it helpful to heal other's wounds as well..."

Blinking once again at her eagerness for his use of powers on her, he stared at her blankly. "Well, I'd be happy to help in any way I can, Ione. But perhaps we should wait until we've returned to your...Erm...Mansion...I'm not sure how my combination of altering light and telekinesis will work out..." He trailed off, thinking. "As you advised, I'm just trying to be careful with my powers." he said quietly, looking at her appologetically.

"It's good to know that you think that, and yes, I am a friend of yours as of now. Freedom is now yours, just walk out of those doors and that'll be the end," Avio said, nodding at Celia after he finished. His walk was still a bit silent though the floor was a hard surface as he made his way towards the door that led into the main part of the mansion. "After you, Celia," he stated, patiently waiting for her to make her leave. "I don't want something to happen to you on the way out, so it'd be better if we left together.

Ione really wasn't quite sure what to make of his statement. Though he obviously longed for blood, as was a vampire's nature, she was doubtful that it could be supplied. After all, few people would be willing to give up the very substance that kept them alive just so that a person's thirst could be quenched. Despite the slight complication the fact would bring, Ione was quite sure that she'd think of something that'd resolve the issue. Unfortunately, she wasn't quite so sure as to how she was going to manage that. "I'll think of something, I promise. I have no idea what, but maybe something can be worked out somehow, though don't be surprised if you'll have to stick with water..."

At his response, her enthusiasm died down a bit, an understanding smile replacing it. "Of course. Better safe than sorry, as they say. Nn, I'm sorry, my excitement got the better of me. I've been trying to improve my abilities for years now, but I still haven't proceeded very far in skill level, unfortunately. But I'll get better, I'm sure. As long as I keep working at it, I'll be able to cast spells just as well as all the other sorceresses- Maybe even without a staff." Generally speaking, staffs and other objects were use to transfer a mediocre being's powers in order to cast a spell, but those who were more advanced could make due without one. Though her chances of actually excelling in magic were slim at the moment, Ione had never been the type to think so negatively.

"Well, here we are." Ione stated, stopping in front of the manor's large iron gates, fingers tracing along the shallow groves that had been etched into the metal. Finding what she was looking for, Ione pressed her finger tips against the cold bars, her hands glowing a light crimson for a moment before the light faded. "It's magic." Ione explained lightly, just as the gates swung silently open. Walking through the entrance way and into the yard, Ione motioned for Zhin to follow her.

As expected, her home truly was extravagant, the Wizel family's wealth obviously not a fluke. The main building looked to be made of gray and white marble, while the smaller cottages that were scattered across the premises were made of polished wood. What the smaller homes were used for was unknown, though were perhaps the servant's quarters and the guest houses. Ione didn't even glance in their direction, however, and instead heading towards the actual manor.

Zhin blinked, his appologetic look depening as he saw her dissapointment. "If you'd like, I can attempt it as soon as we reach your mannor. I'd be honored to help you with your training, Ione. If you're training to become a sorceress, and especially a competant one, I'd expect you'd need all the training you could get." He flashed her a quick smile after his quiet statement, looking from her to the large mansion.

As they approached, his eyes widened in a childlike manor, taking in the view wonderously. "Amazing...I may just be ignorant, but I've never seen a house this grand..." he said in awe, watching as the entire thing unfolded before his eyes when she opened the gate. He looked around at the smaller cottages, finding them similarly amazing as well. "Being able to afford all of this must be wonderful...Although," he said with a sheepish smirk, "I'd expect it to get annoying or overwhelming, having so many things around you. I've never served a master or mistress with this kind of lavish surrounding..."

As they continued further, the mannor blocked out the sun, causing Gabriel to be enveloped in complete blackness for a moment. He laughed slightly, being able to see even better now. "Well, I guess I won't want to be frightening the rest of your family..." he said softly, the egg-shaped showd dissipating from around him. He now blinked at Ione once again, pale as death, his dead blue eyes glinting slightly in the remaining light.

"Oh, and Miss Ione...I may act differently around the other members of your family...I don't wish to come off to them as insolent or anything, so to them...Well...I'll be a common slave." he said with a nervous smile. In truth, he really just didn't want to go back to his cage. It was so wonderful being outside in the real world, and not locked up by himself. It was great having someone to actually talk to. Even if he was a slave to her and her family, he considered her to be a friend to him. As for her family, he hadn't the slightest clue as he followed just behind her.

~Celia looked at the doors in front of her.It was the only thing stopping her from freedom. After looking at the doors for a bit she looked up to Avio.~"It doesn't feel right, to just be able to walk out the door to freedom.Normaly when I leave a place I am in chains and I'm being dragged. It just feels weird knowing that I can control my freedom."~Celia looked back to the doors once more and spoke softly~"I don't think I can do it."~She said as she looked up to Avio once more.~

The vampire's almost juvenile reaction to the Wizel family's rather wealthy estate had been both unexpected and laugh-worthy. For obvious reasons, Ione was well aware that not everyone lived in such an embellished life style, but the fact that he hadn't witness such fancy housing before had been somewhat surprising. After all, she had assumed that his former masters and mistresses had been as well off as she, though apparently that wasn't correct. "As immature as this might sound, living here has actually been, well, fun. There are so many places to hide in, as well as various secret passage ways that were built before my parents purchased the mansion. We've only managed to find five, but are quite sure that there are more." The eighteen year old could recall many occurrences where the hidden entrances and paths had worked in her favor- Whether it be by providing hiding places when she didn't feel like listening to the adults or allowing her access to the different rooms with more ease and haste.

"Yes, it can get a bit troublesome, with so much to take care of. By the space is sometimes needed. With six kids, sudden arrivals of distant family members, and the abundance of business colleges that desire a prolonged absence from work, the elaborate setting is really to assure our sanity." Indeed, the grounds were often bustling with some kind of activity and half the guests that always ended up staying were people whose existence were something she hadn't even been aware of.

Ione strode over to the small side entrance to the main building, which was so modest that it could have easily gone unnoticed, and the lack of light proved rather unchallenging- No doubt because of the fact she knew the manor almost as well as if she had constructed it herself. "I suppose that would be for the best. Oh, that reminds me.. My father's views on slavery are much more traditional than mine. Not to say that he is some cruel monster or anything, but he certainly doesn't mind making his advantage in position known. My brothers- There are five or them by the way, just to warn you- can be utterly vexatious. Each of them are magic casters, who happen to specialize in one of the common elements: Fire, water, earth, air, and the manipulation of light. Obviously, I'm supposed to be skilled in the dark category but, as you can see, I'm not having much luck." Ione, as much as she wanted to fit in with the aptitude of her family's magic, wasn't all that disappointed that no particular abilities involving darkness had surfaced. Frankly, she found the mere thought not only unfitting, but also unnerving. "You won't see much of my mother, since none of us really do, but if she talks to you, you must act as if you are a hired servant, alright? She'd go absolutely berserk if any of us sunk so low as to buy someone."

Pushing open the door, she wasted no time in walking down the fancy hallways, the sound of various voices drifting from a near by room. Motioning for him to follow her, Ione entered the room with benevolent humility.

Zhin smiled, eyes on Ione's shoulder. "I guess that would be fun. I can't exactly call my childhood normal, but I guess it was fun..." He trailed off, his eyes fading out of focus.

His childhood hadn't been anything special, but it hadn't been terrible. He'd been born to a slightly poorer family, but had always had what he needed. He had friends. He had a family. He stayed at home until he was eightteen, until the night he was bitten and cast out of his home. The memories were vague from that night, but all he remembered was seeing the dark shape, then pain.

Shaking off his flashbacks, Zhin returned to the present, finding himself at a small door. He raised a curious eyebrow as she mentioned her abilities in dark magic. He chuckled slightly, following her in. "Well I must say, you don't seem the dark type. But..." he laughed lightly, shrugging, "I guess it's aparent that not everything's as it seems. I'm a living example of that." he said with a sheepish look. At the mention of her family, Zhin merely nodded, knowing the common way to act as a slave. "I won't 'cause any trouble, Ma'am." he said with a smile.

Following her, he marveled at the inside of the house, his previous masters houses never being this grand. He blinked as she entered a smaller room, far less elaborate, but still rather nice.

"Well, it's your choice," Avio said to Celia looking directly at her, "You can get out of these doors without being dragged in chains. Think of the things that you can do once you are out there; just think. Take your time and imagine all of the things that you've wanted to do, of all the things that you couldn't do, and all of the things that you were prevented from doing and punished for. I cannot decide your fate for you, only you can do that. Take control of your path, as I have taken over mine." His voice was serious, sounding bold and sincere. Each and everything that he had just stated meant something, not only to Celia, but to himself as well. He had allowed a change in his path take control over him and he knew that he'd have to live with that fact forever. "It's your choice and your world now," Avio made his closing statement as he stood there patiently to see what Celia would decide to do.

~As Celia listened to him she thought about what she had wanted to do.She knew she wanted to be frre and out in the wordl but it didn't feel right that she could just walk out the door to freedom.~"I really want to be free, but once I am, where would I go?How would I know what to do? I haven't been out in the real world since I was 9, I have been trapped in houses, mansions, and what I call prisons.I don't know anything about whats out there."~Celia slowly took one step closer to the door. She really wanted to be free so she could see the world once more.~

"Well, there's no use staying in here then. Once you hit that outside you will be faced with many decisions that you'll have to make. I guess that I'll have to help you get on your feet out there since I may be the only one who can. You wouldn't mind that, would you?" Avio asked Celia, thinking of the consequences of just letting her on her own without any knowlege of the world. It seemed pretty grim, so he would have no other choice.

~Celia let out a small sigh of relief as her red eyes were still fixated upon the door~"Actualy that would be great."~She said as she stepped closer to the door once more. She turned her head to look at avio~"Whats it like out there? I haven't been outside since I was 9.If I was outside I was just being dragged to a car or a different place.Even half the time then they knocked me out first."~She looked back to the door studying it as though it had the answers to her questions on it.~

"It depends on the aspects in which you look at it. If you look at it in optimism, then it is a rather beautiful world full of good people and many things to do, in pessimism, the world is a dark place that is similar to that of hell with little to no opportunities to redeem one's self. You'll have to make your own opinions about it, as I have for myself." If it was one thing that Avio knew, it was that the world could be seen in so many different ways, each being the same, yet different of the other. It would be a quilt made of the many strings of life and each of them being a different color and pattern: each strand holds together the quilt even though they have many differences in their appearance.

((This is really how I see life))
