Things were escalating, and Beardia wasn't too proud to admit that she no longer had a firm handle on the situation. But, there was still the chance that things could be resolved with minimal injuries, they just needed to react fast. "After we've resolved this," Beardia promised Noah 2. In the distance, Noodle fell from the sky from an unforeseen attack by another Deoxys. She ignored it, because she had to, and kept her gaze on the Oshawott. "Can I ask that you help guide the smaller pokemon somewhere safe? It doesn't need to be far, just away from here." She would do it herself, and planned to once things had calmed down, but teleporting a large group like this one took an immense amount of concentration, and that wasn't something she had in abundance right now.

Zarude was quickly showing an aptitude for showmanship and violence: flipping once in the air before it landed deftly. It shoved the gathering babies away and leered into the crater but caught only a glimpse of black as Necrozma flew back into the air, the face underneath its helm one of pure rage. Zarude's eyes narrowed in amusement and glee and bared its teeth in a maniacal grin before it whipped its arm forward as if to throw something. Its aim was true: vines flung from its wrist and wrapped tight around Necrozma's body, forcing its arms tight against its body, and brought the prismatic life form down once more.
Another battle cry from Zarude and it scrambled to its captured prey, who was thrashing on the ground and hurling sand into the air in its desperate attempt to escape. But the bindings held tight and only grew tighter the more Necrozma struggled. Zarude sneered down at it, victorious, and raised its clasped fists high above its head for one final blow.
"RegiGIGIGIGIGIGIGAGAGAS!"
"RegegeGEGEgege!"
There was a sound of what could only be described as a dying radio and its corresponding malfunctioning computer before a blast of electricity hit Zarude square in the back and swept it off its feet. The ape was sent sprawling into the sand, face first, three feet away from where it had so boastfully stood but a second before. Behind it, Regigigas still had one, giant arm pointing towards it, the lights (or eyes?) on its face flashing rapidly. And yet, the attack had come from the Registeel still stomping its way to join it.
A hush fell upon the crowd but was broken almost immediately by a tinny cry that was quickly growing in pitch and volume. A new baby had hatched from the wagon. Two, in fact, but the one making the noise was the shiny metal one. The bewildered Pidgey beside it was already making a quick getaway, its own squawking drowned out.
"What should we do?" Cloud asked. He'd still yet to make a move, but had just finished scarfing down his last candy. "They're a lot of angry babies."

"Well that’s good." Nothing wrong with feeling stronger after a delicious surge of sugary goodness. Cloud looked so proud to be stronger too and Cheri was proud for her friend. She’d felt herself growing ever so slowly stronger, though whether that was a good thing or not, she hadn’t considered. It would probably prove useful in the situation at hand as things swiftly erupted into a chaotic mess.
Castle wasn’t prepared for the barrage of images that flooded its senses shortly after Noodle’s explanation. It was so much to process for the poor Ultra Beast and even with the condensed sample size of their caretakers’ battle endeavors, it wasn’t sure it truly got the jest of a battle. Any attempts to further explore what was expected were cut short as a horrific sound racket invaded the shared space.
The Stakataka teetered from side to side, barely keeping itself from toppling. Such an assault on a single mind was likely a horrible experience, but on the multiple entities that made up its form it was a horrible earthquake in a towering building. Panic, anger, horror, dismay, and a cacophony of emotions exploded from each individual entity as the baby tried to comprehend the situation. The eyes shot in the direction of Noodle, only to see their would-be friend falling from the sky and another, less looking version, hovering not too far by. ’Friend! No!’ Immediately it scuttled to catch the Deoxys. There wasn’t much it could do to break its fall but giving Noodle a chance to recover was just as useful and as if by instinct, it raised one limb and fired a round of its bricks at the not-Noodle Deoxys, trying to draw its attention.
Noah 2’s disappointment was swiftly replaced with a wide-eyed and horrified expression. All the noise and commotion, explosions and what have you was hard to miss. The Oshawott swallowed the lump in his throat, looking at Beardia as she provided her instructions. If his legs hadn’t been frozen, he’d have been fleeing already. ”W-wh-wha…wha..?” What’d she say? Guide the babies away? She was asking him?
”I…I… I…” Noah 2 stuttered. Could he do that? Should he do that? It was one thing to brave the waters to save an egg because of that involved things that he was good at (the water part). Wrangling other babies though? That was a big deal! He made to protest, the words catching in his throat as he stared up at Beardia. Her calm composure was just enough to steel his resolve, if even for a moment. He sucked in a sharp breath of air, cheeks puffing as he gave a solid nod. ”I can do that!” He announced loudly with as much bravado he could muster. Immediately he set out to do just as asked, rushing for the first batch of babies cowering nearby and attempting to corral them up and away from the hole and warring legendaries.
Cheri’s eyes narrowed as a horrible tirade of cries permeated the air. Her attention shifted to the new metal baby that had hatched and now seemed to be startled by the trouble going on. While she could understand hatching into the middle of a raging war was startling, all this noise seemed a bit much in her opinion. Add that with the annoying robotic chitters of the Regies and Zarude as they (presumably) babbled words of challenge at one another and the Espurr’s ears were starting to hurt.
"Hm…," What to do. That was indeed the question. Beardia was nearby, trying to sort the situation by conning Noah 2 into escorting the babies away from the immediate area, which meant they wouldn’t need to assist with that. So, they should probably do something about either the newly hatching babies (that were still hatching) or the fighting babies.
"We should probably… stop them." Cheri remarked, paw pressing against her chin in thought. "It’s surprising how quickly they started fighting. They’re going to make great warriors." Yes, yes, they’d be excellent. But all the attention this would bring would be bad.
"Would you like to calm the babies? Or stop the fighters?" Already she was maneuvering in the direction of her wagon. If there was anything that truly needed saving, it was that.
Not once did the other Deoxys take its eyes off of Noodle as it fell and paid little attention to the lumbering Castle. So, it didn't see when it hurled an attack at it and swerved to miss it far too late: a few bricks bounced off its face and left shoulder, knocking it off kilter. Deoxys turned an impassive face to the building, its broiling anger rolling off it in waves before it raised an arm up. It was aiming to rain fiery retribution onto Castle when an explosion lit the sky in bright colors.
Noodle regained consciousness at the exact moment its back met the ground. 'So this is pain,' a voice—one the pokemon wasn't certain was its own—whispered. Wracked with pain and stunned by the shock, it lay motionless and wordlessly observing the sky above it. There was Deoxys, the other one, as still as a statue and head turned in the opposite direction where a cannon had been fired. No, Noodle chided itself. Not a cannon, but an explosion nonetheless. It recognized the fireworks, though not why they were being lit at a time like this.

Another warm smile hidden behind her beard passed Beardia before she nodded at Noah 2. "Thank you." She saw him off for the first few seconds before she turned her attention to the problems at hand. They needed to contain the problem but that was hard to do when problems were literally hatching one after the other. The still screaming Megearna had overshadowed the arrival of yet another powerful pokemon, and Beardia could only watch as a brightly colored dandelion unfolded its gangly legs out of the wagon. It didn't keep the relaxed pose for too long: a perpetually screaming neighbor made that impossible, and she watched in morbid fascination as the newborn twisted its head off and tossed it into the air with all the carefree whimsy of a child. The disembodied cluster of colors didn't travel far into the air before it combusted in a show of crackling and color.

"Hmmmmmm." Cloud tapped his chin while in the background Necrozma sliced through its bindings with a light that pierced the sky, and cut the clouds in half. He had just finished eating all that super strong candy, buuuut he was good at calming pokemon and people down! And, in emergency situations, it was always good to go with what you were good at. "I'll go calm the babies!" Cloud announced and began waddling towards the wagon with a sense of urgency. "And I'll make sure to keep your wagon safe!"
Blongaskhan kept a cool head as she carefully balanced her eggs in the crook of her arms, her pace urgent albeit wary: she wasn't going out of her way to save these eggs just to drop them on the way back. There were a lot of things going on, more than Blongaskhan cared to keep track of, so when she arrived back at the wagon she followed the same rules as before: placing those newly hatched onto the ground and letting the eggs take over.
"Blobby!"
Cloud was huffing as he approached the mimic pokemon. "What's going on?" Blongaskhan gestured to the wagon, "Dit!" He nodded his head, "okay!" Cloud turned to look at the metal baby, its eyes squeezed shut as it wailed. He patted its head, gently of course. "There there."

Now free, Necrozma took to the skies once more—taking care to avoid the space where another pokemon had thrown its head—before unleashing a laser straight at Zarude who was picking itself up from off the ground. It missed, by mere millimeters, as the ape sprung back. Zarude snatched something up and flung it at Necrozma. The legendary shot out the same laser, slicing the rock in two and cutting into the very same earth Zarude had been standing in a second before. At the second miss, in a row, Necrozma stopped cold to stare blankly at its nuisance before its entire face brightened with the light of a volley of lasers set to automatic.

Another Chansey passed a fifth egg into her satchel while Lebellia ran off to explore. There were of course other pokemon roaming. Eggs clutched on their person as they did. So it wasn't just her, like that first Chansey had explained. It was fascinating. What broke down? What would be fixed?

Wrapping her tail and herself around her little 'hoard' of eggs, Cinnamon thought about dozing off.. She was almost to the point of sleep when another Chansey walked over and added to the pile. How many was she hatching?! An eyelid opened lazily as she inspected the 3 eggs.

Around the riverbend~ She hummed as she galloped her way past some rocks. A small bush in her sights. Typically she wouldn't have wanted to be this warm, but she was comfy. The eggs barely jostling as she ran. She hoped they would hatch soon. Maybe they would be really neat!

Eyes drifting closed, Cinnamon drifted off into a dreamless sleep. Or dreamless as a light doze would do. A bubble barely forming before another egg was added to her 'hoard'. A huff popped the bubble. How many?!
There was a wave of emotions as Castle’s attack struck true, pride and terror. Pride, that it had accomplished just what it had hoped too and terror as it quickly realized the potential retaliation it faced as a result. Various voices chimed out in panic on what they ought to do next -attack again, run away, beg for mercy, cry- before an explosion of lights filled the air. What was that?
The Stakataka rumbled to a halt next to the fallen Noodle. One thing it did know was that it wanted to protect their newfound friend. Immediately its legs retracted into its body and the eyeholes shut, leaving an immobile tower of bricks between the Deoxys’ sight and Noodle, a translucent wall shimmering into existence as bonus protection around the two. A single eye hole opened at the base of the brick tower, near Noodle, staring at it worriedly. ’Are you okay?’
