Physical Description: Short and thickly built. While nobody would mistake her for chubby, she's definitely big boned and has some decent muscles. Has short strawberry blond hair and grey eyes.
Personality: Nua is a worrywart, plain and simple. Always prepared for the worst, she can be downright stubborn about the idea that things can and
could go badly. She's constantly checking up on
everybody in the Weyr and while such behavior could grate on some's nerves, to others her concern is completely charming - after all, she does it all out of love and her heart is very much in the right place. With contingency plans upon contingency plans, in the worst of times, Nua is nothing short of completely reliable. Her mind's tendency to run at a mile a minute, while it can often run down strange pathways, can also be put to good use to figure out the easiest (and safest!) course of action in the shortest amount of time.
Everybody in Nua's wing is her
family and she will take care of them all. Miss a wing drill? Nua is making sure you're OK. Have a fight with your Weyrmate? Nua is there to offer comfort. Need a helping hand? While her worrisome nature will keep her from being taken advantage of, Nua will still offer her assistance. She will mother everybody within arm's reach as soon as they are part of this pack.
For all her worrying, Nua is fortunately fairly
easy to reassure - except that it has to happen fairly often. Her bonded is often responsible for this, fortunately, but any romantic partner will also find themselves constantly being asked leading questions to validate her. On the flip side, however she is always quick to tell people exactly what she thinks of them - and it is often finding the best in them and letting them know she noticed. After all, you never know who needs a Pick-Me-Up to their day.

History: Nua's father was a pessimistic man who openly shared his worries even over the smallest of things with his two children and often acted as though what bad was going to happen was going to happen even if he didn't do anything about it. This included some of the care of Nua and her younger brother, causing her to take up the mantle of caretaker at a young age. She was searched when she was 14 for a clutch upon the sands and while hesitant, was urged by her younger brother who found dragons to be
romantic to stand.
She worried about everything the entire time. Who was going to take care of her brother if she impressed? Was she suitable to take care of a dragon? What if she wasn't what a partner wanted? What if EVERYBODY OVER THERE NEEDED HELP CUTTING MEAT? What if - what if.
What if she was the most perfect thing a little-big green could possibly want. For a clutch without a gold, the small green was quick to soothe nervous clutchmates or tear down those who stepped out of line, ambling ungracefully about the sands after each of her siblings as though she was the very metallic hide she mimicked. Only once appeased by the knowledge that everybody else was exactly where they were meant to be, she went to the girl, snuffling about her robe and using a wing to gently move her arms to look her over.
Well you seem unharmed. What worries you, myNua? Was it that I took so long to come to you?There was no room to question or doubt the green's choice. Sobeth had known exactly what she wanted - or who, rather, and she made it unendingly clear that all of the second guessing that Nua had would not be necessary.
While her father tried to be supportive, a single comment that perhaps Sobeth would be the death of his little girl caused the green to drive the man away with such sharp anger that even Nua found herself overwhelmed. The two, while capable and hardworking, didn't particularly stand out beyond this minor incident. 4 years later, Nua's younger brother would also be searched, and while it would be 2 more years before he impressed, the two settled into the Weyr together after their father refused to come join them at Western.
He would die in the first Threadfall.
While it did little to give motivation where none was needed, it
did bring the siblings closer together than ever and solidify the rounds that Nua was already making to check on everybody.
Other: Nua has a brother 4 years younger than she is.
