"I met Lucas when he was three and a half. He was really shy and quiet, though he tends to be really skittish in large crowds and groups. He can handle groups of six or eight, but more than that, and he gets... tense. He's also come close to drowning a couple of times and is... a bit jumpy around heavy storm surge," Mairi said slowly, knowing she was really sugarcoating it. Lucas, in groups of more than six or seven didn't just tense... he froze up and almost became unresponsive. He was very, very cautious around water to the point of being almost terrified of it, especially in heavy storms. She was astonished, quite frankly, that he'd kept his head long enough for them to get to shore..

Lalia Lalia nodded her head then stood up too. She thought it would be a great idea. Lalia took his hand and lead him back up to their room. She began to pack a bag. "We should take the boat."she said.

Shínbào rolled his shoulders as he let Lalia lead him upstairs before he smirked slightly. "You said something about shipwrecks... how deep are they?" he said shyly. He was unaware that his many months of swimming under the water at depth had made him physically tougher and stronger than many humans, his bones and muscles five or six times denser than was 'normal'.

LaliaLalia finished packing the and smiled. "Oh a good ways down, but we're taking the boat. A swim like that can wear you out."she said. She took his hand then lead him out to the dock. Lalia hopped onto the boat.

Shínbào exhaled softly as he hopped onto the boat, noticing Lalia's cousins working on the catamaran. "Makes me glad that I don't really have to worry too much about surfacing with the suit," he said shyly. He half crouched, half knelt, his gaze scanning the sea for threats. "Wise to keep an eye out for predators. No need to tempt them into what would be very unpleasant for us," he said softly, sighing.
