╔══════════════╗ Patrick looks over to him, "No need to apologize. The topic was going to come up eventually as you continue to get to know me. I'm pretty much an open book to anything you want to ask and I will answer as honestly as possible" he answered. He didn't remember his teen years and college years and had paperwork along with the journal to go on with. He was thinking it wasn't worth remembering so any good memories won't be tainted by any bad ones."If its any consolation, I would have told you eventually to explain why hanging around someone on a holiday is such a rare thing" he reassures him. "Okay, because I was going to try out egg nog which is already made and in the fridge" he tells him. "You can have some if you want to" he offered. ╚══════════════╝

Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$762.06 Profile_______________________________________ When Patrick reassured him that it was alright Roy smiled, happy to see that he didn't bring up any bad memories for him. He felt even better once Patrick said that he would have told him eventually "That does make me feel better....thanks...." Roy said with a small smile on his face as Patrick said he made eggnog. He quickly nodded his head as he walked towards the fridge and took out the eggnog and placed it on the table "This has liquor in this, right?" Roy asked, curious about what might be in the eggnog.

╔══════════════╗ Patrick smiles and happy that he made the guy feel better. "No problem. Happy to see you smiling again" he said to him. He checks up on the smoked duck that was supposed to go with the leftover salad from yesterday. Glances over at the eggnog Roy took out from the fridge. He nods, "Yes, it was in the recipe that I looked up on the internet" he answered. He didn't own any holiday related recipe books in his house. ╚══════════════╝

Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$762.06 Profile_______________________________________ Roy smiled as he grabbed a clean glass and filled it with the eggnog "OK! I was just wondering is all!" the Officer stated as he began to sip the eggnog, nodding his head in approval at how good it tasted "You certainly found a good recipe, this tastes great!" Roy said as he then sniffed the air when the smoked duck checked on "But...everything else also smells amazing!" he stated before quickly placing the his glass of eggnog down for a moment to quickly set up the table with the plates and silver ware that would be needed, picking up and taking another sip of the eggnog as he worked.

Blushes at the statement, "Thanks, Roy" he said smiling. He thought the day was moving alone quite smoothly. He turns off the stove now that the side of brown rice was ready to be served. ╚══════════════╝

Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$762.06 Profile_______________________________________ It hadn't occurred to Roy just how time flew by because as he finished his first glass of eggnog it turned out a couple hours had past without even batting an eye "It's already three, wow how time flies when you're not sitting home alone!" he said in all seriousness, although it probably sounded like he was trying to be funny. Roy walked over to the Oven and saw the cake was ready so grabbing an oven mitt he pulled the now perfect chocolate cake out and placed on the counter to cool off. Roy then made his way over towards the eggnog and poured himself another glass and began sipping on it.

╔══════════════╗ Patrick nods, "Yeah, it certainly has" he said agreeing with Roy. He takes out the smoked duck from the oven after Roy had removed the cake from the oven. "The frosting is in one of the cabinets" he said to him for when the cake has cooled down he could frost it. "Dinner is ready to be served" he said getting out the leftover salad to go with the smoked duck. He served himself a couple of puff pastry parcels, a big spoonful of brown rice, salad with two slices of smoked duck, and a glass of eggnog then sat at the table. "How is your alcohol tolerance?" he asked Roy. ╚══════════════╝

He then sat down at the table just as Patrick asked his question and he shrugged his shoulders "I think I'm OK, I don't drink often..." he explained, taking a bite of some duck and rice and smiled at the flavor "This tastes as good as it smelled!" Roy complimented before taking a bite of some of the leftover salad and taking a drink of eggnog.

"Glad the Christmas buffet has turned out well" he said then picks up and bites into a parcel. "Okay, just wanted what to expect once you're drunk" he explained why he had asked the question. "Thanks, I was really careful on what to pick so nothing clashes badly" he responded. He resumes eating dinner and enjoying Roy's company. ╚══════════════╝

He hopes what he said sounded understandable as it did in his head. He was enjoying the compliments about his cooking from Roy. "Every cook loves to hear those words" he said smiling a little. He starts chowing down on his second parcel and drinking most of the eggnog in the glass. "Definitely going to need to get back to morning exercising after a meal like this" he thought while eating the salad. ╚══════════════╝

I thought...you were calling me a drunk..." he said as he rubbed the back of his head a little in embarrassment. Roy had just now finished his plate of food and promptly agreed with Patrick "I'm going to have to get back to my own exercise routine after this as well!" Roy said with a smirk on his face before getting up and making his way towards the cake, feeling it had sufficiently cooled enough. Roy then opened several cabinets before finding some peanut butter flavored frosting "Now this will work!" he stated as he took a spoon and began to frost the cake. It was not pretty and Roy ended up tearing the cake up slightly on several spots but he was trying his best here seeing as how he never did this before.

"What kind of exercise routine do you do?" he asked him before eating a puff parcel. He was wondering if their routines were any similar to each other. Or they could do them together if that was possible. "Maybe I'm thinking too far ahead of myself" he thought. "How's it turning out?" he asked Roy referring to the cake. ╚══════════════╝

Roy rubbed the back of his head "...all that matters is the taste?" he stated before stepping to the side to reveal the mess. The cake looked like it was thrown against the wall several times as well as being ran over. To say the least it looked like pieces of cake were torn off and poorly put back on in several spots.
