‘cause I have other things to fill my time You take what is yours and I’ll take mine Now let me at the truth Which will refresh my broken mind And Ill find strength in pain Mistee’s eyes became filled with excitement when it seemed like this woman understood what she said. She leaned forward, almost hitting her head on the door, kneeling slightly to get a better look at them both. She looked to Luna, “Dtuigeann tú dom?” her butt wiggled, her skirts shifting as her smile grew from ear to ear.
She looked to Lacy, her face growing even more excited with the thought of being able to talk to someone! “M-Mist…”she let herself relax, “M-My name is M-Mmm….Mistee.” her lips pert together in a small, pleased smile.
Hearing that this other woman from before had no money, “Oh!” her shoulders shrugged up in an almost cat like way of pleasure, “Is féidir liom a íoc ar do shon” she said in a honey voice, laced with Irish roots. Her long fingers paraded on the door side like ants in a row, “Má thats ceart go leor ... Uasal Lacy is é sin ceart go leor má thagann mé chomh maith ... ní bheadh mé ag iarraidh a fhorchur.” She said, looking to Lacy with a curious smile.
She was just…all smiles. She hadn’t been able to talk like this to another human since her mother…
I’ll know my name as it’s called again So tie me to a post and block my ears I can see widows and orphans through my tears I know my call despite my faults And despite my growing fears

Lacy couldn't help but smile at the adorable redhead's obvious enthusiasm, but upon hearing Luna decline her offer of food, she frowned slightly, realizing that, perhaps, this other woman was in a worse situation than she had realized.
And then Mistee spoke. In English. She seemed to have an accent of some sort....maybe Irish? Maybe that was the language she had been speaking, but Lacy wasn't familiar with it, so she couldn't be sure. And then there was a barrage of that foreign language, and Lacy looked from Luna to Mistee and back again, hoping that maybe Luna understood enough to translate. "Um...Mistee? It's very nice to meet you and all...but I seriously have no clue what you're saying." She spoke to Luna, "Do you understand her? Do you think you could translate?" And as an afterthought, she added, "And look, don't worry about paying for food. I can get it....it's no big deal." She smirked, "You're saving me from drinking alone, anyway."
She called to Mistee, "Look, I know of a hotel diner where we can eat, if you want to. Just hop in." She added with a reassuring smile.

Nes was quick to hop off the bike, wincing slightly as some of her hair got caught in the helmet when Levi pulled it off right after. She follows the tall woman inside, rolling her eyes at the woman's attempt to 'mother' her. At least she thinks she is, it's hard to tell with Levi. "Yes, mutter..." She grumbles as she makes a beeline for the bathroom, releasing Spice from her hoodie to go do what cats do when they aren't pretending to be a shoulder ornament. She shuts and locks the door behind her, immediately turning the water on to heat up as she strips out of her filthy clothes. She scowls as she examines the hoodie, she was rather fond of it and she hoped the stench and filth would wash out. She hops into the shower, sighing blissfully as the hot water washes over her.
She's probably going to be a while...

Kaylin glances over the menu, searching for anything and everything meat. After a few moments, she angles the menu towards Gypsy and points at a turkey sandwich. She wiggles a bit in her seat as she waits for the woman to note it down or something, glancing around the room again.

There was a nod as Gypsy noted the order and took the menu. "Turkey sandwich, okay." She had to try not to giggle as Kaylin began to wiggle, it was pretty cute. Heading up to the bar, the waitress put the order into the computer. The menu was placed back in a holder for them, nice and neat. Crossing her hands in front of her, Gypsy looked around to see if anyone else needed anything while she waited for the order to be prepared. A few drinks were replenished here and there, not many were eating right now. Heading back to the bar, she saw the bartender setting the sandwich out and giving her a nod. "Thank you," she bobbed her head to him and took the sandwich. Placing it before Kaylin, she smiled at the girl. "One turkey sandwich, need anything else for the moment?"

The boxer stood there a moment, staring up at the man's face as he took in the apology. A soft smile came to his face, he seemed an honest fellow and Maurice wasn't one to hold grudges. "Eh, don't worry about it, it's in the past." His smile then got bigger as the man mentioned it was his first time here. "First time, ey? Chip's gonna have a blast with you, then."

He had been avoiding eye contact with the boxer, until he heard the last part. "...Bl-Blast..? We-We're not t-t-t-talking ex-explosions are w-we..?" he asked all in one breath. Aaron had trouble with very loud noises, such as the ones that came from fireworks.

...Did he say explosions? "Uh, it's a figure of speech. He's just a very excitable guy." Maurice looked at him slightly oddly, why would a bartender have explosives? After a moment of thought he shook his head clear of the images and went to open the door to the pub. "You'll see what I mean. Come on, you look like you could use a pint." He smirked at the mechanic and held the door open for him, giving him a hearty pat on the back as he entered.

The mechanic immediately stiffened at the pat on the back. Maurice could feel that his companion's back was offset slightly, as if there was something holding his vertebrae in place. The pat had caused pain to shoot through Aaron's back, making him double over in agony & his eyes water. He did not condemn the boxer for his actions, for Aaron knew that the man did not know about his physical & mental disabilities.

Maurice immediately flinched at Aaron's cry of pain and he crouched by the man who had keeled over, completely taken back and worried. "Oh god, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" A smaller young man with deep maroon hair quickly ran over as some of the other patrons watched quietly. The sprightly bartender knelt by the mechanic's shoulder, careful not to touch him until given permission. "Sir! Do you need help?"

After a few minutes, Arron nodded & slowly stood. He knew that alcohol would dull the throbbing. "I-I'm okay..." he said using the door for support. He smiled nervously at the boxer & bartender. He would explain why he was hurt by the act of comradery if asked.

"Are you sure?" asked the bartender quickly. Now that Aaron was standing the sheer shortness of the him was obvious; next to the tall mechanic Chip looked like a child in comparison. "At least have a drink on the house, then." Maurice then chimed in, "No, it's my fault, I'll pay..." Chip quickly shook his head and waved his hand, invisibly brushing off the boxer's request. "Oh no, it's fine, let me help you and your friend!" He then looked over at Aaron with a reassuring smile, "What's your name, anyway?" ...Good question, since Maurice hadn't asked yet either.

"Capt-I-I mean Aaron... Aar-Arron Str-Straight." he said shyly looking down at the maroon haired man. There was a hint of a southern accent in his voice at times. He was not expecting to be given a free drink. Aaron leaned down & mumbled in the bartender's ear, "...d-do y-you give mi-military or vet-vetran's d-discounts..?"

Luna looked at the redhead - Mistee, her name is Mistee - and smiled a little. "Hello, Mistee. That is a lovely name." Her head dipped in a slight nod as she turned toward Lacy. "She's... speaking Irish. I'm not sure I can give direct translations, but I may be able to interpret? I have only a very basic knowledge of the language." She looked back to Mistee and tilted her head, thinking over what the woman had said and trying to identify words that she could translate for Lacy. Her mind caught on one, and she blushed deeply, shifting her gaze to her hands while she went over the rest of what was said. She looked back to Mistee, hoping for confirmation as she did her best to translate. "She... I think she offered to pay for my meal, but didn't want to assume that you would stay and wait for her to eat?" She shook her head. That didn't sound quite right, so she tried to elaborate. "Maybe she figured we were already headed somewhere together, since I'm sitting in the front?" Luna shrugged slightly and wished she'd paid more attention in that damnable class.
Luna sighed quietly. She hated being indebted to people, and yet here she was, accepting food and drinks and medical supplies that she shouldn't even have access to. What a weird day. She'd have to find some way to pay them all back for their kindness. She wasn't... quite sure how she was going to do that, but she'd find something. She had to.
((I am SO SORRY. I went out of town and didn't have access to the internet for a frickin week!))

‘cause I have other things to fill my time You take what is yours and I’ll take mine Now let me at the truth Which will refresh my broken mind And Ill find strength in pain Mistee’s face was like a cherry tree, blossoming with each word she was able to speak. Her head was nearly in the cab at this point, practically leaning on Luna’s shoulder. “Is féidir liom íoc! Gur mhaith leat a bheith ag cabhrú liom teacht ar mo bhealach abhaile! Tá sé an laghad, d'fhéadfadh liom a dhéanamh!” she said, looking to Luna to engage her in conversation once again.
She looked to Lacy, completely forgetting all social manners and popping her head back out, running to the side door, fumbled with the handle, but quickly opened it, closing the door behind her with an wasy hand. She popped her head next to the window, poking out a little finger, poking Luna in the cheek, giggling, “An bhfuil tú mo google aistritheoir?” her lips parted to reveal her pearly whites, turning to Lacy, “An féidir leat a insint di mhaith liom buíochas a íoc táille cab chomh maith? Ós rud é go bhfuil tú ag an dá i ndáiríre cuidiú liom amach.” She said, looking to Luna, slipping her finger lower and poking her in the shoulder to translate.
