"I was being careful. I didn't know I opened it." She stuck her tongue out at him. She places the sliced apple pieces in pile in middle of the table, and went to get something out of one og her many bags from the day before.
She walked back a moment later with a bottle of grape juice and some plastic cups. "Wine?" She said to him in her goofy voice.

~Kuro Haiiro~ Kaige's pupils were gone when he stared at the beast. "Sometimes to live... you must take lives." He shot an armored bullet through the skull of the scorpion. It's brains were splattered an the wall behind it.
Laire rose and inspected the giant arachnid's corpse. "And we'll see if I can't get an antivenom from our friend, here." She stuck an empty vial under the scorpion's tail, dripping with the acidic stuff that affected Ruedra. A few drops of the poison were all Laire needed.

He tore the sleeve from his jacket and handed it to her.

Laire nodded, taking the bit of cloth from Kaige. "Certain professions require it," she said shortly, tying it securely around Ruedra's wound.
"Doubtless, there are other creatures like that scorpion in here...it had to feed on something," she continued. "And maybe some other creatues quite unlike it. Like whatever it was that made that thing."

"Doubtless, there are other creatures like that scorpion in here...it had to feed on something," she continued. "And maybe some other creatues quite unlike it. Like whatever it was that made that thing." Ruedra woke to find Laira bandaging her side. "Thank you." She mumbled, trying to sit up taller. "Ouch." she exclaimed as she sat up. "Wow, that really hurts." She said smiling slightly. This was nothing compared to the injuries she'd had before. ((Sorry if it doesn't make sense))

He looked back and saw the tunnel collapsing behind them.
"No way!!"
He grabbed theit hands in each arm and muttered something under his breath.
A feeling of sick speed took over them,and in a blink they were in Aekea. The tunnel in ruins behind them.

Ruedra fell over when they appeared in Aekea. "Wow. That was scary." She stated. She was breathing heavily and couldn't move very easily. Sighing, she sat down carefully and pulled her water bottle out of her bag. She drank some of the water and attempted at standing up. She managed it but no easilly. "We should go." She said to the others.

Kaige sat on the ground,his eyes looked soul-less. His technique,"World Distortion" took so much out of him,it left him drained physically and mentally.

Ruedra watched Kaige sit down. "We need to find somewhere to rest." She pulled her money pouch off of her belt, and looked inside. "Just barely enough." She mumbled to herself.
She walked over to Kaige and took him by the arm. "Come on." She helped him up. "Laire. We need to go." She said to the woman near them.

They went a good while before they found a cheap hotel in Durem.
"Okay,that's all paid in full. Have a nice visit."
Kaige was propped up against the wall,the light reflecting in his eyes.

"I...have never seen Durem before," Laire muttered, staring out the window. She turned to the resting Kaige. "The Leader is said to reside near here."
Laire clutched at her left arm; still numb, but regaining feeling.

"You need to rest." Ruedra said to Kaige. She was paying absolutely no attention to herself. She took him by the arm and walked him up the stairs to the room they had gotten. She laid him down on the bed, and sat down beside him.

He turned his head slightly to stare at her.

"Yeah, I'm fine. You just worry about yourself." She smiled at him and walked away from the bed, and into the bathroom. She was taking a shower by the time she noticed red coming through her bandages. She quickly got out, dried her self off and put her clothes back on.
She walked out of the bathroom and over to the desk beside the bed. She sat down and closed her eyes.

He sat up slowly a couple hours later and saw that Ruedra had fallen asleep at the desk. Laire was asleep on the other bed.
"Heh..."
He walked over to Ruedra and put his coat over her shoulders to keep her warm.
