 Elkand looked at her " Your right were going to have to show them that wizards and witches can work great together and certainly achieve more than they could on their own." he said and smiled ' I'm fine with having a witch as an ally!" he said " Now If we can convince the figure heads of out communities then maybe it would help but we know those are the most stubborn ones." he said " A peaceful world...this bond is certainly a good start..and to think we first wanted to kill each other..but its not so bad." he said.

 "I know that Raven Blackfeather is supposed to be dead and gone by now, but I believe I'll still have an influence on the head of the High Circle of Witches." Larkanna said thoughtfully. "I also have plenty of old friends that might be willing to help if we can prove to them that this bond is the real deal." Laughing a little at his comment about them originally wanting to kill one another, she replied, "It started out as a petty rivalry, then turned into a pitiful partnership... now it is something that I have not the words to describe."

Elkand nodded " As do I and since I have enough influence in the wizards community I could advance it." he said and smiled " This partnership has really enjoyed it and I will admit that I cherish it." he said and shrugged " We'll have a better chance if we beat the tower and you manage to impress my father then he'll be willing to work with you...and again stay away form my mother." he said as he couldn't stress that enough.

Larkanna knew the the High Circle would be appalled by her idea, but if they could continue to make this new magic work for them, then perhaps their narrow minds would be changed. She hoped so, anyway. "Your father sounds like a man that is more accepting than your mother. Might I ask why?"

Elkand shrugged " I don't know Silvus has always been a very accepting man but I assume its beacuse of his wife." he said " I mean he did accept the fact a raven could be turned into a black dragon so why not this?" he said and smiled and looked at her " Wait...what about yuor family?" he asked crossing his arms " I'd like to meet them.." he said and looked into her eyes for an answer.

Larkanna shrugged when he asked her about meeting her family. "I occassionally pass through my old village to check in on them and leave gifts that will help them get through tougher times, but... I've never actually spoken with them." Sighing, she said, "I've been meaning to take you there and perhaps have the courage to show myself to them, but so far we've been busy with the Witch of the Wasts, practicing, and your curse. After the meet, we could possibly pass through my old village." She waved a hand over her face, making herself look like an elderly woman, before waving her hand back, retrieving her true looks.

Elkand nodded " That would be interesting but I quess yuor parents wouldn't like me much." he said then thought about his curse " Lets not worry about the curse I think I'll remain inactive a little while unless something happens to set it off again." he said and tilted his head when she made herself look old and then go back " And that was for..?" he asked her wondering what it was about.

"Actually my parents were never the type to hate anyone without good reason. I believe they once told my sibligns and me that wizards and witches are almost the same." Larkanna said as she tried to dig back through her memories and remember their words, but it escaped. Shrugging, she replied, "That's how I always get through the village, as a traveling elderly woman. I usually stay with my family for supper or some other meal and tell the little ones stories. They've never seen through my facade, and I don't they ever would without my revealing of my true identity, which I might as well do with you there."

Elkand nodded " thats a good thing." he said and stood up " So are you hungry dear?" he asked her realizing that neither of them have really eaten since this morning but he was started to feel the hunger. He smiled lovingly oddly enough and summoned the door to the house again " We can continue later." he said.

Larkanna stood and brushed off her pants before nodding, "Surprisingly, I am." Usually she could go for a day or two without food, because of all the meals she'd missed due to learning, finding, or practicing new spells. Stepping through the door, she felt sorry to leave that meadow behind, but then again, she needed to remember what reality was.

Elkand nodded and closed the door again and walked towards the kitchen where he started to prepare breakfast. He set the table and put down a basket of herbs Alistair prepared for Larkanna. It was simple again but he was cooking it better than usual which was odd. Once it was done it set it out for her and him as he sat down and smiled " Its odd I find myself knowing how to cook all of a sudden." he said " Alister brought you some herbs." he said pouring her some tea as well as himself. He took some of the Herbs which he normally didn't

Larkanna took her time walking down the stairs, mostly just to gaze around the mansion and take in more detail than she had when she'd first entered under the 'terrible' conditions before. When she reached the kitchen, she sat down and chuckled at his comment about being able to cook, "Maybe my feminine touches really are getting to you." She said jokingly before taking a sip of the herbal tea. It seemed more spicy than any tea that she normally would have concocted, but it was very good. "I can taste some normal herbs as well as new ones... I most certainly have to ask her about the hell roots, which give it an odd and amasing flavor." Leaning back in her chair, she looked over at Elkand and said, "This really has become an enjoyable partnership. Looking back, I used to never sit down and eat breakfast with another, let alone eat one depending on my mood or my current state."

Elkand smiled at her comment and started to drink his tea " I'm surprised you've come to enjoy them it took me awhile to even use them with my food." he said and smiled before he started eating and listening to her " I agree and I thought this would be a living hell but its amazing how quickly it changed." he said " I'm actually glad to sit down with someone and eat with them when I want to..I usually try my familiars but they can't eat really and the stone never shuts up." he said and smiled " Its really enjoyable plus I never thought anyone would take such an interest in artifacts and books as much as I do." he said and leaned back though he couldn't expect this to last long as he was almost certain there was more in store that would test them.

Larkanna pondered over hsi words for a moment, a smile playing at the edges of her lips, "I'm glad that I've found someone who's also interested in such things. Not many witches turn to the Old Magics anymore, but I'm unsure about whether wizards are the same. 'Tis amazing what fate can do to us." Looking down at the symbol, she tilted her head in slight curiosity. Hers did not hodl the evil glint as Elkand's did, but it wasn't exactly the same either. I'll look into it later, after the whole deal with his parents is over and done with.

Elkand nodded in agreement as he looked out the window " Wizards take no interest in old magics merely creating their own." he said " And learning those we can in the academy." he sighed. Elkand actually had yet to create his spell while everyone else had but he didn't care. He smiled " Cruel or fair fate does what it will." he said and yawned as he finished up his meal in silence as he looked at her " You enjoy yuor meal?" he asked her putting away what was done and left the table and floors spotless. He stretched cracking his back " Wow..I feel much better." he said.
