Saika patted Sayomi on the back "thata girl, it's the best we oni have" she stated proudly "99% pure alcohol" she laughed
Sayomi soon found that Saika wasn't fully lying the drink was really strong and made her atleast light headed if nothing else

Willow edged past the rest of them and sat on the guest counter, crossing her legs. "Knowing each other's weaknesses, huh? I really don't like that idea, but if it help, then hey...why not?" she frowned and looked at the ceiling, trying to look anywhere then at them.

suwako had heard to conversation and decided to join in "knowing weaknesses helps in battle since you don't want your partner to do something that will cripple you" Suwako stated

"Yeah," Willow commented absently, tugging at her hair. Looking out the window, she watched the clouds roll lazily across the sky; she couldn't help smiling. How hungry it made her...those clouds looking all fluffy like that. It was like cotton candy.

Cyra winced slightly before shaking her head, "Not just weaknesses. Strengths, quirks, type, basically we need to know each other well enough to be able to call ourselves friends and to trust in the person standing back to back with us, knowing that we will cover for them while they cover for us." She sighed before running a hand through her hair. "Bartheyamus, can you explain it better or have I lost everyone?

He nodded in compliance to Cyra.
"In other words, right now we are a chain and we are a weak one. In order to defeat our foe, we must wrap him up in this chain making him unable to move or be free. If we strengthen the chain that is our relations with one another, we might have a chance. That being said, we cannot have any weak links either you are with us or you're not."
Bartheyamus stated this with confidence. He always felt more sure when speaking in metaphors. He liked to think it made him easier to relate to even with a severe age difference.
He scanned the room to make sure everyone understood.

Willow smiled stupidly up at the sky; anything that they had said would have passed right through her ears had she not snapped back to attention at the last moment. "But haven't we already done that before?" she whined.

"well i'm no good sober, and i'm not overly fast or well balanced" Suika admitted which was true even standing Suika wobbled back and forth

Bartheyamus looked at Willow, slightly annoyed.
"No, we didn't. Suwako and I did, you complained you could catch some extra sleep. This is not the time for whining. Have you a better idea? Perhaps we could take a field trip?" Bartheyamus stated, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
"We know very little about you whether you know what happened here or not. If anything, you're the one I'd like to know most about." he said, matching his stern gaze with her's.

He crossed his legs and arms as he sat in the stool, perfectly balanced.
"Tell us of Blackthorn Hollow before it was ravaged. Valter mentioned something of bustling streets, and a girl he once loved that was taken from him. The town was at fault for this. Do you know anything?" he asked, eyes narrowed.

Willow ducked her head so they couldn't see her face, pretending that she was just staring at the clouds again. "Well, I do remember a time when the streets were filled with people, and the inn was always packed. But it seems so long ago; it's hard to remember."

Bartheyamus let out a small sigh, this was going to be harder than anticipated,
