I'm so proud of my kitten (almost 6 months) Jake - I've bought a litterkwitter (cat toilet training device http://www.litterkwitter.com) and today was the first day "with a hole" for him to pee through - he got it perfect first time! Hooray! So, another two or so months, and he should be toilet trained! Stay tuned for photos!

I'm on my way to my first Speed Dating night - with a friend and her friend...and we are all TERRIFIED! Fingers crossed it's not any worse than the last couple of blind coffee-dates I have been on!
It's been quiet in here lately, I hope everyone is okay.

hahahaha Good to see you're still in one piece, Headhunter!
Not only did I survive the Speeddates, I didn't hate it! I was nicely surprised by the variety of guys and I had 4 matches (out of 11). I had a coffee date with one of the guys yesterday (my favourite one). He seems keen to catch up again, so I'm pretty pleased with the whole thing.
I'll let you know if he actually calls and takes me out...I've had far too many "I'll call you"s with NOTHING to follow. Cautiously optimistic.

Well, I'm still alive as well. 3nodding Also not quite as active since I have to finish cleaning my room and getting ready for the dreaded sumer school and (hopefully) work. As of yesterday, I wasn't put on the work schedule so I'm looking for a new part-time job. xd

Got my hair retrimmed and cut today. They called it "thinning" and just among you, me, mom, and the fence post, I'd say it looks down right smart (read cute) on me. blaugh I'm going to have Mom take my picture (and I'll take hers) and let you all have a look-see. 3nodding
Today was also my first day of summer school. xd Not bad except for some reason I forgot and left my wallet on the dinning room table and had to have Steven drive it up to school and leave it in my car (in a secure location for me xd ). Boy, do I feel dumb, old, and forgetful. sweatdrop

Um, hi everyone again! sweatdrop Uh, I couldn't find our leaving and coming thread, so I thought I'd just post here to let you know I MAY be without internet for at least half of the day tomorrow (hopefully not more) because the cable guy's coming to see if he can install a special kind of cable and these people are the same ones who provide our phone and internet service as well. whee We'll see how that pans out tomorrow. 3nodding
