movie_fanatic DarlingBlueStar [screams] ahh!! the incest!!!! but otherwise it was kewl........... halucinagenic.... nice touch by Locke..... fave moment: Hurley: "Pee on my foot!" lol Actually, it wouldn't really be incest since they aren't blood related but it was still kinda .. abit disturbing yeah, it was really weird. i was all like, "Omg! They're not going to... Eww! They are!" yes, very disturbing. sweatdrop that whole fake death thing really surprised me. when they showed that Shannon was still alive, i was like, "Wtf?! Then who was that in the jungle?" for a second i thought that there might of have been two Shannons. sweatdrop and now i'm not sure if it's the monster that made Boone see all that or if it was the drug that Locke put on Boone.

You can't snort herione, right? Only they said that's what Charlie did. It's been bugging me ever since last night.
And I was sort of building up a gruding respect for Boone throught the episode, and then he had to go and ruin it... I was really happy when Shannon died, and then she didn't, and I got mad. And I'm rambling so you don't really have to pay attention to what I say.

You know what's gonna happen right? One of them will die and we'll all be "Oh no, they're not dead, hell everyone else's death was just fake too" and that character will be dead. Damn you J.J!
But I really liked this episode, one of my favs, next to Walkabout. I loved the Sayid and Boone interaction in the beginning, especially the fact that Sayid said he wasn't going to back down from Boone. And I'm sure that while he was hallucinating in the magic forest, Sayid and Shannon were getting all cosy too ^____^
I'm a happy shipper now.

the second boone started hallucinating i was thought he was, then the farther it went i thought it was real. i was so glad that they didnt kill shannon off (yet). as useless as she is, i really like her. movie_fanatic I really want to know if Lock is evil, insane or some people say he's kinda like a Yoda or whatever. i really dont think he's evil. i mean, if he was evil, he wouldnt be trying to help everyone.

Well I'd say giving a broken compass to someone whom he knew was going to go explore the jungle.. itsn't really helping. I mean if Sayid wouldn't have tried it first, he would have gotten lost.. so yeah

I would suppose they used the brown kind to make it obviously not cocaine.

Well I think Locke just doesn't want to get off of the Island so that's where he's trying to mess people up a little. Did it mention if Sayid's homemade compass worked? If it did and then Locke's didn't then I'd be suspicious. At the end of the episode my dad was like 'Is he trying to talk Boone into Killing Shannon?' and I told him i wasn't sure because I'm torn between the 'letting the past go' and the 'talking Boone into Killing Shannon' theory. I hope it's not the killing one because Shannon has grown on me and well, she seems to make Sayid happy so I don't want her to die. Hurley and Jin were hilarious

And for the record, John Locke's (the philosopher) main theories had to do with the fact that no one is evil or good when they are born, and he believed in cleaning the slate and letting people start anew. Sound familiar?

i think locke is just a spirituel guide for everyone. he was touched by what ever is on the island and he will go about helping everyone straigten out there lives like the island has done for him.
