*Kero nods...thinking himself...and goes off...Shia thinks she hears Kero talking to Rhea...then suddenly, she hears the unmistakable sounds of two spankings...and Luna and Terran phase through her door...apologizing...*

shia accepts their apologies but her mind and heart really aren't in it... she has never had anyone defy her as much as they had that day and it was an eye opener for her, because none of the younglings at the palace would have done this or even had thought of doing it....

*Suddenyl, she feels a touch on her mind...and she feels a ghostly sense of sorrow...from Luna...she realizes Luna is an empath, like her godfather...Luna knows her heart wasn't in her acceptance...so she's hoping that putting her regret directly into Shia's mind will help...*

but shia is very very angry right now and wants none of it... she sends back a sharp retort... someting to the extent of... iffin ye feel so bad now... why the hell didn't ye feel bad before.... ye might say she feels that luna is apologizing only because she is being made to do so as luna had ample time to do so earlier and didn't

*At this...Luna breaks down in tears...and Shia is assaulted by images...of Kero turning them over his knee...of the following lecture...how he had impressed on them what they had done....how his power had touched hers...and suddenly she had felt what she had done wrong...and all she had wanted was to apologize...even as Shia sees this, Luna fades away, teleporting into her own room*

shia sighs but deep in her heart she knows that even though luna feels bad now.. she never once felt bad while she was doing it and that more than anything is what hurts... that both quets thought it hysterically funny to talk back, to destroy things that the four of them had worked on together and even to dump mop water over her head when all she wanted them to do was take responsibility for the things they had done... or even just sit quietly so she could clean up after them to keep them all out of trouble...
(sorry kero... shia is really really mad right now... gonna be a cold day in hell before she calms down i'm afraid... best let it blow over....)

Shia...the only thing you did wrong today was let your temper get the better of you. You handled each situation as you should have, and were appropriate in everything you did...I am impressed...I've already heard from Kero, whom I do trust...he's very protective of his brother and sister, and anything regarding their well-being...but that's besides the point...Shia...I want you to know I am very impressed with how you did today...is there anything you want...anything at all...knowledge, a secret, money...
*Notes her look*
Shia, the only thing you handled wrongly today was your adamant refusal to forgive...you don't know how deep that cuts, kiddo...you may not hear it now, but Luna is still crying...she thinks you hate her, and want her to die.

i don't want that... says shia softly... but uncle.. she came in here only after you and rhea punished her... not before... and i thought she liked me, but she was even meaner than terran... i... i can't forgive her yet... and i dont think she really means it.... how can she when it wasn't her idea to apologize but someone else's... when ye say yer sorry... ye need to mean it....

*She does mean it, Shia...we never punished her...Rhea gave little Kero permission...and he did spank them...and she does like you...that's why your hatred, and yes...what you feel is the seed of hatred...hurts her so much*
