Aeon listened to what Moli had to say. Everything went into one ear and out the other. She smiled and sat back in her seat. What exactly was she doing? She noticed how Roulin, Moli and Che acted around each other. As "disfunctional"as his family was, she admired the relationships they had with each other.
Amara looked at Amaya and smiled. "You're right Amaya, we're just a little more closer to opening the school for OWLS" she said with a wide smile. "Amaya, what will you be teaching again?" she asked her. She was excited about a lot to be honest. She was having a baby soon and she would make Amaya the godmother. She then looked into the distance and began to think some more. What would life bring for her and her soon to be family? Her friends...
Noel looked at Will, why was he like this? He was never like this when they were younger. As the violence spread Noel shook her head as she began to glow a white color, bright wings coming from her back as she took to the sky. "Everyone please stop!" she said in an omnious tone. "This fighting is pointless and more and more of you are dying...some of you are killing off your own family" she tried to reason. "I plea with you to go back to your homes before any more damage is done" she said as she began to use her powers to reconstruct the areas that were damaged.

L rubbed the bridge of his nose. The last statement was a bit more worrying. Sure Sydney or rather Rage had gotten out of hand before but ridding herself of nearly all the other emotions...that was a new one for him. "Oh? Well if your not particularly scared than why dont you tell me where you are hmmm? Unless that is you feel I will seal you again...perfectly logical fear i'd say. " Though he knew she could not see it L inspected his nails adding a casualness to his voice to irk the rogue emotion more. "I mean it is the darkness that runs from the light."

As everyone piled into the truck he smiled a little. Hopping into the back he watched as Sibal had shifted his normally heavy body into the more sleek speedier version of his body, which folded and crouched until he was small enough to fit into the back, he didn't need them getting weighed down. When he looked towards everyone he said. "We're ready to go. don't worry about the Null Generators when we get there we'll be able to take care of them, like you said we have quite the menagerie of powers here." He smiled as he ignited the engine which roared to life. Smiling as he sped off he traveled down the street until he came to a stop near Bailey, Luca and Morgan. He opened the door and hoped out. "Bailey we've got to go. Luca, you and her get in the back." He didn't know about the Morgan situation but in his mind this was more important, she would have to come if there was any kind of issue, unless she could handle herself. He looked towards Luca and said with a soft smile. "Oh and I want to talk to you after this mission. It's in regards to your contract with me." He said calmly as he leapt back into his seat in the truck. He left the door open, waiting for an answer from Bailey.

Sakura simply stared at L when he asked her to get him his smokes... "you know those things were expired right?" she said in response, listening to the conversation and became slightly confused, 'Intelligence is an emotion? oh, sorry i didn't mean to interrupt... damn Rage you are more disgusting than even ember...' she said not truly meaning to interrupt the conversation, but just habitually being a rather nosy person.
----------------------------
Morgan's head cleared as Bailey answered her phone and then turned to one of the other fellow Owls to discuss what should happen to her now that she was stuck under Baileys charge, I feel so loved she thought glaring at the two as they looked at each other to decide Morgan's fate, "you know im here right? you can talk to me about this" she siad with a sigh and tried to get up finding the exertion rather dizzying before letting herself fall again. the sound of an engine confused her again and she managed to turn and see the truck as it pulled up not recognizing the man that hopped out if the pick up, "wait what? go where?"

While awaiting for an answer from either Luca or Morgan, whichever came first, Bailey heard the soft purr of a truck's engine pull up near them. She looked up to see Lucien and his team. The young Uncontrolled Owl hesitated for a moment glancing back at Morgan before she sighed in frustration. "We'll inform you along the way," Bailey said. There was no time to do it now. Bailey's vectors snaked around Morgan's waist and lifted her into the back. "I would tell you to not get into any trouble once we get there, but that seems very impossible for you." She climbed in after the human girl and settled herself in the back before awaiting Luca. She heard Lucien mention a contract, which then caused a bewildered expression to light up her features. She looked at Luca questioningly hoping he would tell her what this meant. Perhaps she was being nosy and it was none of her business, but this was something that was really eating at her.

Cecilia shook her head I amusement at the antics of the Italian family. Che was right. They really were a regular ragtag team. They were all powerful in their own right, meaning that each of them would be useful in their own way. Directing her concentration away from the disfunctional family, she saw that they were coming up to the Freeway. The overpasses were very dark making it almost impossible to see, which forced Cecilia to turn on the headlights. "I probably don't need to tell y'all that we're reaching the Freeway," she said in a calm tone of voice despite the uneasiness that she felt while speaking. She would have hoped that things would go smoothly, but she learned a long time ago that such a thing was nearly impossible.

"Ugh...I'm going to have to wear a helmet around you girls. At least Aeon hasn't hit me yet. Thank you Aeon..." Che lamented jokingly. In a short two year span, he'd gone from pretty much hating the people he now enjoyed working with to an extent. As much as he liked them though, he still wanted his company back. That was his American dream achieved and it was his intention now to get it back by any means necessary. "Yeah, thanks. Why is it so dark here? I could at least see the stars a few moments ago. If the lights don't work, then Roulin, be our eyes please."
"No need for that." Lomoli chimed in as the view around them began to darken substantially. The tip of his right index finger lit up like a beacon, or to the darkness inducing owl that may be around, a target. "You know, I can't help but feel weird in this darkness you know? I guess it's just because I'm the light herald now. Totally gonna have to ask L how he deals with this feeling..."

The darkness of the overpass was soon lit up thanks to Moli and his abilities as the Light Herald. "Er...congratulations on your promotion," she said to him unsure of what to call it really. "Just keep that finger of yours away from me," she said. She was not saying it to be rude, but if she was touched by a form of photokinetics, then her powers would be nullified for a good few hours. She kept her eyes on the road ahead of her. Thanks to Moli's beacon of light, it was now possible for her to see where she was going once again without having to worry about crashing. She found it a little unnerving that there were no stars in the sky. It was where she got her source of energy for her attacks. She just hoped that this wouldn't affect her abilities.

Kate's eyes narrowed as she heard Che and everyone else telling her calm down. She turned her head to look out the window. The scenery was dramatically darker and the shadows were encroaching on the truck's occupied space. And at one point, it was like the shadows were seeping through every nook and cranny. It was like a black mist was slowly creeping in through the cracks in the doors and windows, and through the air conditioning vents. The fact that the AC was on, only made it spread faster. Now was probably the time for Kate to mention that she sensed the Darkness Herald's spirit around. When the shadow rocks started pelting the truck, Kate finally decided to speak up. "Might you all indulge me with a moment of your time when you are quite finished discussing dysfunctional families so that I may say something?"
Erin was still smiling in both embarrassment and sheepishness as the conversation continued despite her trying to calm everyone down. But when darkness began falling upon them and the surrounding scenery, the look on her face began to get very worried. It began to get even more worried. "Um... This is so not good, everyone..." she said aloud.
===
'Did you not understand what I just told you? Fear is dead. There is nothing left but Rage." Rage replied to L with some venom in her voice. She was starting to get really annoyed with the fact that L was interrupting her fun. She purposely ignored Sakura the Water Herald. 'As for where I am... That is for myself to know and you to find out.' she retorted flatly before cutting off any further communication with Gaeta and Sakura. So, when Sabrina's voice echoed in her mind, Rage scowled deeply. Another annoying one of Sydney's so-called family. 'And? What are you going to do about it, you weak whore of Timothy's? Leave me be! Get in my way, and you shall regret it with the amount of suffering I will bring to your pitiful body.' Rage was already angered by her conversation with L. So Sabrina's intervention was just going to make her even more angry. Though, Rage was not going to waste any more time talking with Sabrina, so she cut off any communications with Sabrina. If any of them did try to find her and stop her fun, Rage would most definitely not be happy.
Once communications with the shutting off her mind to the Earth, Light, and Water Heralds were cut off, Rage began her assault on Che's little ragtag team which was traveling to talk to the Human side in the South American civil war. Lomoli's light beacon which was probably helpful to his friends to see ahead of their vehicle was like a big red X over their position, an easy shot at their pathetic little lives. At first it was only starting to get progressively darker along the freeway area on which they were traveling. It was so dark, they probably wouldn't be able to see five feet in front of them with Moli's light skills. Even with the young herald's help, they still wouldn't be able to see very far for very much longer. It was like a thick blanket of shadow was covering them, trying to smother the life out of them. At the moment they would only just barely be able to see each other in the car.
"Time to begin..." Rage said to herself. Because she was using Syd's physical body now, Rage would be restricted in terms of what she could see, unlike when she fought Roulin and the others in Azarath. Even still, she could 'see' with the shadows and darkness every move that Che and his company made. Either way, she planned to toy with Che and his friends for a bit just for the fun of things. In the darkness which enveloped the truck and its current passengers, they began to feel small impacts along the outer layer of the truck. It was as if it was being pelted with big rocks. These shadow rocks would leave dents in the metal of the truck's body and crack the glass of the windshield and windows.
((Just for clarification on all our parts, here's who is in the bed of the pickup truck: Aeon, Victoria, Moli, Anderson, and Che. These people WILL be getting pelted by these shadow rocks! No if's, and's, or but's about it people! lol
Cecilia, Roulin, Kate, and Erin are all inside the truck with the black mist.))

"Of course....whoa! Yeah, I think we should get down!" Moli kept his finger illuminated so that Cecilia, whom he hoped was a focused driver right now, could still see her path even if just barely. After having it struck by a rock and ceased, Moli then switched fingers. For whoever was assaulting them was a middle finger just for them. Snickering against the truck bed, Moli kept his finger low to keep it from being broken.
Che had already taken shelter beneath Victoria's body whom he pulled from the side of the truck. He may have not had any real feelings for her, but as long as she was working with them, he may as well keep her safe. If it meant laying beneath her, undoubtedly, he'd oblige. "Blueberry! Keep your eyes on the road alright! I'm going to try and give us some defense!" There would be no more of this shooting in the dark madness on Che's watch. The Mastering Owl shifted his position between Moli and moved Victoria to a safer position. The only other safe position she could be, or so Che thought, was beneath him. From his sleeves and the openings of his shirt flitted pieces of paper that formed a dome over the truck, but not around it. Cecilia still needed to see and Che's body only sheltered so much paper. Thankfully, it was was strong as steel now, but the rocks were still denting it and some were even breaking through. With arms held high, Che yelled to his son in the front, "Roulin! Use your eyes damn it! Who's attacking us!? And are we near the base yet!?"
"Yeah Roulin! The faster----the faster you find this guy, the faster I can shoot them down!"
Roulin's eyes had been active for the entire trip as he couldn't read the blueprints Erin drew without it. Much to his suprise and dissatisfaction, he couldn't see pass the darkness. His sight in the shroud of somber was just like having his vision off. Holding on to the dashboard while trying to activate his telekinesis to back Che's dome up, he yelled to his father and brother, "I can't see in this darkness! It's way to strong....and if I can't see through it, this is no normal Owl...this guy is pretty ******** strong! And yes Kate, speak! Give us your insight!"

Everything began to happen so fast that Cecilia barely had a chance to react. The shadow rocks that came raining from the sky pelted the truck, leaving dents in the body. But because she, along with Roulin, Kate, and Erin were on the inside of the truck, they were not hit. However, Che, Moli, Anderson, Victoria, and Aeon were open wide. Upon hearing Che's words, Cecilia dug her leather boot covered feet down onto the gas pedal, pushing it almost down to the floor allowing her to speed up as she attempted to avoid the oncoming attack. From the darkness around them and the rocks that she could see hitting the truck, it was clear that their attacker dealt in Darkness Manipulation. Cecilia's eyes narrowed. Was it someone they knew or a new face that they had never seen before? Their attacker seemed to know how to hide his or her energy signature making it impossible for Cecilia to sense anyone, other than those who were with her within the truck and the bed of it. The young Cosmic Owl hated feeling useless, but she knew that if she did try to aide them, they could very well wreck. It was best to let Che, Moli, and the others get them through this.

Kate scowled slightly as the truck lurched forward from Cecilia literally putting the pedal to the metal. Though, it didn't seem to be helping them avoid any of those damned rocks. They were coming from every direction around them, formed from the very shadows themselves, so it would be inescapable. She heard Roulin yelling for her to say what she needed to say and immediately obliged him. "You had it right when you said that this is no normal level Owl. I could sense the spirit even before we came to this highway. You will not like the name I utter, but it cannot be helped. The person we are dealing with here..." Kate said, looking squarely back at Roulin, her facial expression completely serious. "...is Kura Qushau... the Darkness Herald, Sydney Huston..." she replied, uttering Sydney's formal New Zealand tribal name.
Erin's eyes went wide when she heard Kate say that they were dealing with a Herald. She looked from Roulin, to Cecilia, to Kate, and then back to Roulin, as if searching their faces for what they were supposed to do now. Erin hated feeling useless just as Cecilia did. The windows of the truck were starting to crack more and more under the constant pelting by the shadow rocks. And the black mist was thick in the air. Then, suddenly, a huge boulder of shadow formed solidly looming directly in the path of the truck. "Cecilia! Watch out!"
====
In her mind's eye, Rage could 'see' with her ability what was happening to Che's group. Their futile attempts to avoid getting stoned to death almost made her burst out into laughter. "Your feeble attempts will do nothing, Che Presidiomini! For there is shadow and darkness everywhere you go!" she said aloud to herself, laughing lightly under her breath in amusement. This was going to be highly amusing. How could they possibly think that any sort of defense could stand up to shadows? She could and would use their very own shadows against them.

Aeon smiled as Moli lit the area. She did wonder why it got so dark so fast, but didn't think anything of it until the truck began to be hit by rocks. She then felt rocks starting to rain against her skin as her skin began to bruise. Everyone in the bed of the truck was getting hit. She couldn't see anything in front of her except Moli, but that's all she needed. She then closed her eyes trying to focus. Taking out some KIK in her pocket she gulped a small portion as she felt herself feel a little stronger. From there she focused on erecting a barrier as a crimson looking barrier was formed around the truck. It would last for now but she dind't know how long she could hold it.
Victoria was surprised when Che did what he did but she had to take in what was going on. When the barrier errected she had to time to listen to what Kate said. SYDNEY she thought to herself. Even though Victoria never liked to throw a title around she was still a herald herself. She looked at Che and into the darkness. "I can try and hold this b***h off, she's obviousley not herself...I feel...rage" she said using her empathic sense to feel what Sydney was feeling. Victoria's eyes glew a deep red color as a psionic fire began to surround her. Taking to the air she attempted to hold off the darkness herald. "Sydeny come out and fight me!!!" she screamed.

"God...that darkness lady isn't going to make getting to or seeing our location easy..." Che left his paper above the truck, though the shadow rocks seemed to easily pierce them still. As the stationary defense fell, Victoria finally decided to stand her ground. Smirking, in his mind, Che thought of how much fighting she did on the run compared to this very moment. "Yeah, you fight her if you can Victoria....I'm no Herald so this is your job. Not mine."
"Well, she has a rather weird name, but I can't judge right now can I?" Roulin jeered. Much like his father, he knew how to make a dire situation light even if it still pointed out the morbidity of it. A Herald was chasing them, playing with them even before she decided to close in on them. She wasn't like the other ones though. She was filled with Rage and her voice rang with familiarity. Roulin had a hunch of who it was and he looked over to Cecilia with an expression that would assure her of who they were fighting. "Remember that mission we failed last week? Well, this is the result of it...I'm positive we're fighting Rage Sydney."
Erin's scream broke Roulin's attention from the young azure driver. He looked forward at the road. Upon it sat a large, black boulder that had been formed from the shadows themselves. Roulin's hands slammed into the dashboard as he threw his body forward. From his eyes shot two beams of light which melted away part of the windshield into a bright red, bubbling liquid. The boulder before them evaporated into a weak, black smog. Looking back at Erin, then at Cecilia, he shrugged and tried to remain as calm as he could. If Victoria could do anything to Sydney in this zone of darkness, then they could at least try to talk to the rebels. They'd have to get off of the freeway first...
