Baby Nimbu was crying all night last night. We didn't want to wake you up. He didn't go to sleep until Moonset, kiddo. That's when I came down here, so we could cuddle when you woke up. I need a good cuddle right now.

He cries because he doesn't know how to talk yet, so screaming for Mommy or Daddy is the only way to let us know he needs something.

I can't teach him yet. He won't be able to talk until he's about a year old. But he won't be crying all that much in a few weeks. I promise.

But Yours, Mine, and Mama's have all grown up. They can make words. Nimbu's still got a baby voicebox. It has to grow up before it can make words.
