i can put them into corners, try to make them behave... but i'm not their mom... i can't use physical punishment or do anything yer mom would disapprove of and rhea didn't tell me how far i can go....

shia nods and disconnects the link in the crystal... she goes out into the room and looks at the two trouble makers... she hold up her gem and replays the last little bit she has recorded... her conversation with rhea...
then she points to the mess they've made... clean it... now... she demands in a no nonsense voice

so shia, who has inherited her mother's aversion to spankings loses her temper...
you two are two of the most ungrateful brats i know... yer mother did so say i was in charge and she did tell me to make ye listen and fine... i will..because iffin ye won't listen to me... ye dang well will listen to her... she storms into the bedroom and returns with the crystal.. calling to rhea and showing the two little quets the crystal while she talks to her
rhea... i won't spank them... i won't... and i refuse to watch them again... i don't know who it is who usually watches over these brats but ye better call them in cause i'm going home... now..... and i'm taking kero with me...

Don't....Don't leave the main office...You are surrounded by the four races of the Void, Shia....please...don't risk your life...I understand if you won't spank my children...Kero doesn't like it, either, contrary to what he portrays...but there are other things...*looks at her two youngest...who pale under her gaze*...like how they despise sitting in corners...or ye could simply say no toys for the day until the mess is cleaned up...the playroom door opens and shuts at the command of the one in charge...

i tried the corner thing... they wouldn't stay in it... said i'm not in charge... i've tried distracting them, tried putting them in time out chairs,... tried lots of things rhea... even showling them you telling me i was in charge and they dumped mop water on me head... i'm tired of trying

shia nods, but her feelings have been sorely hurt, especially since luna was one of the two perpetrators of this mess... she goes to her room, closes the door and tries not to cry.... she had thought it would have been easy watching the three little quets, she had even thought they were her friends, now all she wants to do is dig a big hole and cover herself up... in other words she feels like a failure...
