As he checks on the boy he realizes that although the lad in under the covers they really are not doing much to warm him up. His body temp is still quite low, so rather than induce another short spurt of hibernation Kero creates for him a sort of magical electric blanket. Soon the serpentine's color is back to normal and he is breathing stronger, not the long slow breathing of a hibernating individual.

Soon he is breathing normally and to Kerobian's amusement the boy curls up against him, like he would a nest mate, in his sleep. He eases away and adjusts his covers about him to keep him toasty realizing that living in a cold climate will probably be out of the question for the boy unless they keep indoor. Thank goodness the island is in a tropical region.

Keva come peeking into the room, motioning for Kerobian to join him.

"I... I went next door. Uncle Kero, what happened? Bez says it is up to you if you want to tell me, that it involves you and he doesn't know enough about it it explain it fully. I mean I know Tam had a reckless streak when he was younger but he rarely if ever shows it anymore. The older he's gotten the more set in his ways he's become." says the kitsune walking towards the kitchen/ He pours some water into the sink and begins to clean his dishes, waiting for Kero to speak.

"Well guess then... that's my brother over there, looking more like a stuffed toy than the vibrant living breathing individual he was when I first arrived here. Granted he didn't look like a brother more than he looked like a sister... but he was still Tam... That... that..." he sighs and grips the sink with both hands so hard his knuckles turn white.

"Forgive me..." he whispers hanging his head with a heavy sigh. "I... I.... just want to know something... anything... I... I think I need to go home, for a time... Ma knows what I should do more than ye... but if I go back and say anything about him after what happened to Shia... Kero, ye may never be allowed to step foot in the realm again... and I know neither you or anyone else wants that to happen. Tell me it ain't yer fault... please..."

Keva just stands there shaking. "He's going to get better... right? He has to. He has a family now and someone who cares for him very much, three someone... not counting all of us... He... has... to... get... better...." he says the last through gritted teeth.
