Amestru nods. "That should help, but this tantrum came on so suddenly. Makes me wonder iffin she hasn't been stewing about something for some time now. She's usually far more even tempered than that."

"Tantrum?" echoes Kero confused.

"It wasn't so much a tantrum as a withdrawal, Ame love." says Lyssan worriedly. "She's acting out, true, but not in the usual manner."

Amestru nods sadly. "Aye... forget I said that. It was more like a depression than anger...."

Lyssan looks at Kero and Tes and smiles thinly. "Children are... well... sensitive to changes. And you two have sprung quite a few on her of late. She didn't even know of you, Tes. Kero never even mentioned anything to her about you or your relationship to him before you showed up. I suspect he was waiting until she was older, but well... that is not how it worked out. A misstep on his part, true, but you two are apart so often, he probably didn't even think of it..."

"Ah..." says Amestru in understanding. "I'm beginning to see a pattern here. You two came here and she thought she was something special the way we all fussed over her... only suddenly she was shoved from the lime light, without warning... not even the usual nine month warning a pregnancy would bring... and not by one babe but two. She lost her tiny secured world in the blink of an eye. Lyssie is is helping Kai more often than not and you are helping Tes, of course. I think she needs some one on one... maybe I could arrange to provide that... which should help, but won't cure the problem. She needs to know where she sits in your lives and not through words..." he muses giving both Lyssan and Kero a twisted grin.

"No offense, my dear..." he says to Tes. "But I fear you are part of the problem, a major part... but if you hang in there and treat her fairly, she'll warm to you eventually. She is a rather generous individual."

Amestru nods with a hearty chuckle. "Papa Wolf to the rescue, hmmm. Let's see, she didn't eat much did she? Why don't you fill a plate for her with all her favorite goodies and I'll take it up. So did she eat that cookie or should I bring her another one?" he asks rising to his feet.

"Better take her two dear, she has a hearty appetite and I'm not so sure a single plate will fill the pit she calls a stomach." laughs Lyssan as she begins to place things on Luna's plate.

"She's a growing girl..." laughs Amestru with a wink. "Just wait until she hits a growth spurt, she'll eat you out of house and home them... ye'd be better off teaching her to hunt and sending her to that tiny preserve you and Lyssie set up for her for a bit, until she gets it under control."

Lyssan piles them into Amestru's hands, adding a handful of cookies just in case he needs a gentle bribe to get her to eat. "Here you go dear... Once she starts eating her tummy will lead the way. She'll finish it all.. just you wait and see. Good luck, dear... calming the savage beastie."

"Savage? Luna? Heaven forbid... that little sweetie hasn't a savage bone in her body..." laughs Amestru porting off to Luna's room.

"And I pray she never develops one. For now the Dark mother is ignoring her... let's pray she never attracts her attention. Having breached her door once, she won't be a gentle mistress on the little dear." sighs Lyssan softly shaking her head. She looks at Kero. "You've had dealings with her, I'm sure. Lady Death?"

Lyssan sighs. "Most people aren't... even those of us who never truly die. She's severely lacking in social graces, I'm afraid. It is so hard to believe she's Lunaria's flip side. Ah well, how is our little miracle child anyway? Has he been giving you two a hard time?"

"I meant Nimbus, silly boy.." laughs the kitsune merrily. She looks at Tes and grins. "Is he always this dense?"
